Hi I have a case I-130 from USCIS in Nebraska Service Center is now passed my PD date (At December 9th 2016 now) and my PD is Dec 6th 2016. I am a US Citizen filing for my wife.
Well its been  almost 10 months wait, called USCIS even to Tier 1 and Tier 2 (Although its hard to get to Tier 2 because they will keep saying its the same), and no good response.
I already submitted inquiry last week and USCIS says to wait 30 days for it. also submitted letter to senator/congressman last week, no response from either one. Does anyone know any other way to get by this or any other tips? are they gona send me any NOA-2 noticed from E-mail, Text OR physical mail OR the USCIS app? and is there a chance that they might send an RFE because I am hoping not even after this long period of wait. Im already waiting 10 months almost and im just told to wait, and if they send me a physical mail how long is that and is it from a letter from USPS or UPS?. Thank you in advance.

I have a CR-1 spousal petition that I am now waiting about 11 months and still not even an RFE (let alone my NOA2 this is taking forever), its like we need them but they don't need us so they take their time and I am more frustrated then ever!

actually im fine, im use to waiting so long that i cannot do anything anymore than my frustration just turns to an everyday life now so whatever happens then it happens even im doing everything i can getting service request contact senator ombudsman etc...no response so oh well...

Im doing to try to go to their infopass soon but i cant seem to get appointment so il walk in.
Doesn't hurt to try whatever works if your case would be pending like mines (11 months and still waiting) almost a year on USCIS Only

This is pretty useful im going to try it out Thank you!. I have now contacted ombudsman and senator already, and im not sure who else to contact for help. Its been a nightmare waiting for all this i dont even know what they are doing to the cases on backlog.

I'm sorry, waiting waiting and waiting, one day death will find me still waiting. And I don't see any progress on this, just I miss my fiancée, and maybe I will bring her here, and she should leave US.

I tried myself contacting a Tier 2. The USCIS in Tier 1 keeps saying Tier 2 will say the same stuff and prevents you from going to Tier 2. Although I did go to Tier 2 and nothing was provided for me from them even after I ask. I am waiting 10 months for an I-130 on a Spouse CR-1 Visa and I am a US Citizen and still no approval yet even after my processing times date passed.

I am waiting already 9 and half months since my NOA1 and im still patiently waiting and I am a US Citizen. My wife is from Indonesia and we filed a I-130 petition at Nebraska Service Center. Nothing i can do at this point but keep waiting because it was useless to call USCIS. Might need help from a Senator and get a service request if dates is passed. Good luck

Actually i was thinking the same way, im going to visit Indonesia (i was born there anyways but i never renewed my Indonesian passport because i dont know how US reacts to having multiple passports since I have a US one already) just to be safe. Due to my work its a bit hard for me to visit back but i would love to. but yeah to be on the safe side thanks for updating me. i guess il stick with waiting since its worth it while actually going to visit. Tickets too are cheaper sometimes LOL

USPS might be a govt job that is sometimes hard to even get an interview but u might have a high chance after passing their exam. Good luck to you!
staffing agency is worth it ONLY get ur foot on the door for any company! I used a staffing agency to get into DIRECTV now AT&T and it was helpful. You might get lucky once in a while and keep your options open for anything and work for that company uve always wanted! just my own experience, just know that if its your first week/month be as perfect as u can to impress your workers/managers so ur almost guaranteed to never get fired...also it depends on what staffing agency ur expertise is at. but starting off low and go high is the only best thing u can do.(unless ur lucky enough  with connections lol)
For reference, u can use ur friends or family no need for jobs because u dont know what the manager might say about u if u apply to another job (unless u get along quite well with the managers ahaha) Good luck and its good to share these kind of experience espeially in the US

Not sure if i read other topics around but in my own experience regardless they will need to pay you even if you work for ONE hour from ANY job in the US. For the first three months any job is probation and called "at will" which means fired for any or NO reason at all, if you are a contractor like me, they can fire you at anytime and anyday regardless how long you are there. I did get fired once on a job i didnt get trained well enough on my first real job but after that I changed career paths and happy where I am now. So i think it maybe the training they didnt give well enough or it could be they just dont need you anymore. Sometimes using a staffing agency like me would be easier to find a job because they hook you up very quick versus direct job that takes longer, but it really depends.
