Hello everyone I'm sorry to be a pain and keep asking lots of questions but I'm finding this whole process so confusing!!

So on CEAC NVC case tracker it changed to ready today, can I book an interview now or do I have to wait for the letter to come through from them?

You have to wait for packet 3 from the Embassy with the instructions and then you can schedule the interview, at least that's how it was in my case. They sent the instructions to my fiance on the email and he sent it to me.

  2.       Something really unexpected happened today! I had checked the CEAC website everyday to see the status of our case and it was always showing "at nvc". Today my fiance received the packet 3 from my embassy and he forwarded it to me! I couldn't believe it since on the website it was still showing it's at nvc and I guess i just got used to things moving really slow haha :D so i asked him to call the NVC to confirm it and they said it had been sent to the embassy since 21th september so it's been a while. I still can't believe it as i was expecting it to happen by the end of the next month. I am still in shock haha :jest::wub:

So the affadavit that you need from both you and your fiance for the RFE stating you've met.... Is there a sample out there to see what it should look like?

http://www.k1approved.com/k1-fiance-visa-guide/sample-fiance-meeting-statement-form-i-129f/ I found this website really helpful, it shows an example of the statement you need to send just to make an idea

Not quite sure what exactly you're saying but if you got your police certificate for a visa, you are fine. They make no specifications about it as long as you got a police certificate that hasnt yet expired you are okay

Don't worry a bit :) I just got out of bed to check mine and confirm it said that same thing (US Visa) and didn't specifically mentioned the K1.

Thank you so much, i guess I am a little paranoid right now :D Good to know I don't have to make another one

Thanks ill keep this in mind, maybe I will give fiancé in case they demand it and just have her explain why I flipped it to married early. Has your case been received by NVC yet? I am NOA2 9/5/2017 as well and they have received mine yet.

It hasn't been received yet, my fiance just called in the morning and they said to call back friday because it takes a while for the approval to get sent and they also don't put into their system so fast even though it might have arrived. By this point we are just trying to focus on getting everything else ready so that way we don't delay it more

Also I'm interested if they require the paystubs? I didn't see it listed on the I-134. I was thinking of omitting them since I flipped my status to married early to get tax benefit. We will marry before January. I don't want to give them paystubs if I don't have to due to this change for tax benefit.

I saw some posts where some people were mentioning about them so we just wanted to be safe. Others were saying everything went fine only having the employment letter and tax returns so I guess it depends on the embassy of each country by this point

  7. Hey everyone! I am a little confused if there is anything more we need for the Affidavit of support. This is what we have so far:

    • the completed form
    • bank statements with the total amount of money deposited
    • letter of employment
    • w2s for the last 2 years
    • pay stubs for 6 months
    • 2 years of income tax return electronically filed copies

I was also wondering if there is any of these documents that need to be signed, i'd be thankful if someone would tell me

Thank you! Interview next week, yay :D

I'm not going to lie, I think when I was more frustrated along this process was after NVC while waiting for my Embassy to contact me with the instructions to proceed (actually I did contact them) and specially waiting for them to review my documents and authorise me to book everything. Once you have dates, you feel so much better... And after doing the medical you really feel the end is coming :)

You'll see for yourself! Though things are really really fast for your country, so yay, not much to stress about soon :jest:

I've heard too that for the more popular countries the process might be more lenghty so when it comes to that it shouldn't be too bad since there aren't a lot of people from Romania applying :D

Jesus, its been 140 days and nothing from USCIS .I can see people even got their interview scheduled whose NOA1 date is even after me or most of them have already receive their NOA2 .Not sure how the hell they are picking up those files like on what basis. Hopefully their is something this week.

I know what you mean, 144 days of waiting and still haven't heard anything. Hopefully we hear something this week, then everything will go by a lot faster and we'll be able to finally be with our loved ones

  10.      Congratulations to everyone who got so far in this process! Seeing your cases move so fast after you've got the NOA2 gives me some hope that maybe the waiting is not going to be that agonising after we also receive our NOA2.. It's been 141 days and we haven't heard anything and it makes it even worse not having seen my fiance since january and knowing we can only see each other after i get done with the interview..He called the USCIS today and spoke to the tier 2 who hasn't been helpful at all. He was thinking to send a letter to the senator, anyone know if that would help and what we could tell them?

We have the same NOA1 date!  The two apps I use are the USCIS and CASE TRACKER.  I don't think either is officially an extension of USCIS.  I looked at the developer profile and they same to be made my independent developers.  In any case, the case tracker app is a good one because you can follow a few cases around your NOA1 date (using establiz's April i129 list posted last week-- thank you dear!), and with those cases you can run a search for all the i129's you're following to see whether those are progressing.

Thank you so much! Hopefully we're going to be approved soon :)
