Sorry, I was trying to catch up on everything happening around here.
Also limiting my use of the phone because I still have a bit of a long day ahead
 
Everything went fine. Visa Approved. I'll write a review tomorrow maybe, but I have to say they know your case and what they are asking even if it seems routine for them. The interview was easy, but the CO did ask if Gary had been married before, what happened (seriously), if she was a US citizen (because she's not) and if she had ever lived in the US (no).

It's so frustrating! I'm eager to get everything done as quickly as possible as I finish my job and move out of my house on October the 6th, I've also been homeschooling my son so that he didn't have to start the school year here and then leave to start at another school and he's really starting to miss school and the social aspect. 
 
Hurry up NVC, we all have plans! haha just kidding 

Yeah. The 6 weeks line tends to aggravate me. Not only is it not true to 99% of the cases but it's another example of our government setting the bar low to expect nothing from them until the very last moment. I've been tempted to hang up before he can get to the 6 weeks line but my aversion to rudeness won't let me. It would be my luck I'd get the same CSR the next time I called and they'd remember me. I wouldn't even bother calling but as soon as I have the number I can send it to my fiancee so she can alert a friend at the embassy that it's on its way.

Correct number. From what other's have posted 1 for English then 5 or 7. I've been using 5. Still get the canned line of "it takes 6 weeks".

I'm sure that option 3 is something like to check the status of your case but maybe I'll give 5 or 7 a go tonight. I phoned yesterday to check and the guy on the phone literally gasped when I told him our NOA2 date, told me to call back in a month.

We are ecstatic!  Thanks to everyone for all their encouraging words of support.
 
For the record, I mailed our RFE "book" response on 9/9/2017 to the post office overnight express.
We received an email and website update on 9/11/2017 that it was received
We just got a text response today 9/20/2017 that the NOA2 was approved.
 
 

I've just taken a look at the CEAC tracker and saw they last updated my case today, so I guess that means everything is ready for tomorrow both sides 
 
I've been pretty relaxed for the past days, but anxiety is kicking in a bit today. I keep thinking it has to be ok, since it's just a few questions on a story I know first hand in and out  But yep, still have to go through it...
So dinner and off to bed early.
 
Tomorrow is the last day of Summer, and I feel it's going to be a good day around here, so I'll see you all tomorrow

Yes!!!!!   We just got approved!!!  I had to call my fiancee.  We are so happy!  Thank you everyone for your support and encouragement.  We couldn't have done it without all of you.  Now we will cheer on for those still waiting!!!
 
 

Thank you so much!  The great people here are one of the reasons that I've kept the faith that our time will come.  It's hard, but you along with others have walked that path before me, and have given me a great deal of hope.  Thanks for the encouragement!

Keep heart, brother. I know that sounds easy to say for someone who is past that hump but I know exactly where you're coming from. You're right in the same date range as me and have been here since early in the process so it's easy to feel left behind. I know because I was feeling it too. I had to abstain from the forums over several weeks because it wasn't helping my desperation. But this too shall pass. I'm following you so I know when it happens. I can't wait for yours to be the next case headed for NVC!

That is their standard canned answer.  Of course we all know that they are working on April cases.  I really am hoping that this is our (Aprilites) week for approvals.  I'm so happy for all the previous approvals, but TBH, I'm also a little jealous.  Nothing we can really do but wait it out.

Even though the burden of waiting for approval was lifted on Wednesday it was no less gratifying to see the NOA2 letter in my Informed Delivery in Jacksonville this morning. I won't get to touch it until tomorrow because I'm at my house in Oviedo repairing damage from Irma and last minute clean up before my new family arrives. Her interview document package is sealed and leaving this morning. 

Thanks! It was like having a ton of bricks lifted off my chest. I don't miss the anxiety of checking Informed Delivery every morning. I can start looking forward to Sundays again. It's also nice to be able to exhale again. 
 
On a separate note, it's also a testament to the value of VJ. My I-129F package was put together using the VJ guide. I found VJ when I started researching services for submitting my package. It saved a substantial amount of money to an already expensive process and gave me confidence that proved to be well justified. I owe the VJ community a debt of gratitude. Not only have I learned just about everything there is to know about the fiancé visa process but I've been able to share the journey with a lot of other great people going through the same struggle with sanity.

What internet browser are you using? I was having issues with Chrome loading the CEAC file giving me a time out error. I was able to upload it with Internet Exploder (Explorer... old habits die hard).
