Interview Was Scheduled January 11, 2022

Interview date will be March 1, 2022.

I am so excited I could scream. I wasn't expecting it to be this fast as it showed an estimated completion time of 15 months on my USCIS page. I have already ordered some flash cards on amazon to help me prepare for the questions I may be asked. This journey is almost over and I am so grateful to God.

Wishing myself and everybody else luck!

I sent in our I751 application (including dependent child's application) on 07/14 via Fedex.

    Delivered on 07/16.

    CC charged on 07/21.

Received text message with case number starting with SRC******* on 07/23.

My AOS journey taught me how to be patient with USCIS, this time I am not going to fret, but to pray and hope for the best.

    Good luck everyone.

I received our green cards (myself and dependent child) on March 6, 2012 💃💃 This came as a surprise as I decided to take my mind off this process and trust in God instead and not fret, I wasn't expecting this to happen so soon, I had thought it would take a year or longer. I am so excited for us lol. That't the beginning of my timeline above 👆and the rest below👇. Good luck to everyone that's still waiting.

July 16, 2020 We received your Form I-751, Petition to Remove Conditions on Residence.

November 10, 2020 We transferred your Form I-751, Petition to Remove Conditions on Residence, to another USCIS office that now has jurisdiction over your case.
March 2, 2021 We ordered your new card.

how did it go with you filing with a dependent? if you don't mind sharing, i would like to know if you file a separate I751 for your k2? and how the fees go? did you send one big check for all of you or each one's check separate.

I have a k2 as well and we received our GC together the same day.

    Thanks.

I have one dependent child and I did not file a separate i751, I just added my child's details where it asked if there is a dependent child filling at the same time as you. And for the fees, you can use this link https://www.uscis.gov/feecalculator

I paid $765 in total for us both, $170 for bio-metrics and $595 for filling fee, there will be an extra $85 fee for extra dependent child.

    I hope this helps.

  4. The journey is finally over, until another 2 years when we embark on the ROC journey. We got our (both, child and mother) green cards approval on the 23rd Aug update online, got the welcome to America letters in the mail, card in production and card has been mailed update on the USCIS case status online.

Hoping to receive our cards in the mail soon💃

Good luck to everyone still waiting (especially to my fellow Texans, its taking forever to have interviews scheduled), may it end in joy for you all.

Just an update on us -

We got our actual AP, whew! Just 20 days before we leave. Not as close as some but enough to make us worried.

Anyone have experience with changing addresses? Can you do it all online?  Turns out we'll be moving next month now as well. Not that we expect any updates but just in case.

Awesome, I hope you have a wonderful trip. I think it would be better you call them after you done changing your address online, just to be sure it has been updated.

    Update on my case.

After the interview I got a letter asking me to show that my vaccination records have been completed.

Mit was a hassle at the doctor’s office sine the letter from USCIS stated that not the full medical exam was needed. They tried to insist I get the full medical done but with documentation from the instructions of USCIS after 4 hours I got the sealed envelope with just the updated vaccination records.

Yesterday I got text messages that my card is in production. Total process took 16 months.

I’m so happy. Just in time for my EAD expiration since that case hasn’t moved at all ever since I sent in the renewal application.

Congrats. I got the RFE for medicals too after interview, may I ask how long it took from when your medicals was delivered to when you got am update that card was in production??

Kick ###! Let us know when the card comes in! So jealous!  Congrats! Interview seemed easier than I thought it would be. Still worried on that. We are in the process of buying a home, almost want to tell the guy interviewing us please don't make her go home, if you do we can't afford the new house payment. Most legit relationship ever lol

Still waiting on online status to change but I feel like if we don't have our card in hand, we may go to Infopass with the letter from the Ombudsman to get a stamp.

Thank you,  we are still waiting on the update on I-485 since the medicals has been delivered on tue. I hope yours go well too, have you gotten any update yet about your card?

So we had our interview on Aug 9th, 11:15am at the Dallas-Irving office, we got there 30 mins early and we weren't called in at about 11:45, the officer was very sweet and nice, after the swearing of oaths we sat, and she gave our 4yr old a coloring book and crayons just to stay busy.

She then asked to see our IDs, we gave her our DL and military IDs,

-she asked how long my husband has been in the military, where he was stationed and all that military stuffs

-asked about my previous marriage to the father of my child, if and when he gets in touch with his child

-and then proceeded to ask us about the questions in our forms, the yes/no questions

    .

So at this time, little man needed to use the bathroom and I almost freaked out like did you not use the bathroom 10mins ago, and do you have to go right now OMG, the IO saw the look on my face and she said not to worry they always make accommodation for sweet, short people 😃 she asked my husband to take him to the bathroom.

LOL After the break in transmission, IO said everything looks good and asked if we brought new medicals, I knew we were supposed to because its been 15mo since we did the 1st one, so we said no, and she said she won't be able to approve us right away until we have new medicals😪so yeah we got RFE for medicals.

She also asked if we have other evidence, of course we do and I gave her some other stuffs from our mountain heap of evidence, then little man said he wanted to show her the pictures we brought, and he did while they both talked and laughed while checking the pictures, but she didn't take any of them.

My husband then asked her if we needed to come for another interview, you know just to be sure we heard her correctly the first time, IO said everything looked good, although some cases do require a second interview but not ours, as we can't get approved right now because of our medicals.

We completed the new medicals today and God knows I'll be the first person at the UPS office tomorrow., they better have same day delivery😀 so its fingers crossed now, best of luck to everyone still waiting, the waiting hasn't been fun.

Seems like both I-130 was approved same day we had our interview, I just checked on the other USCIS website, and it says approved.

    Congratulations!

For those who feel they may get RFE for expired medical, print pages 7 - 12 instructions for Form I-693 and copy of your k1 vacination record- DS-3025. Show it to the Officer and you will not be asked to go for another medical.

Thank you. That only applies if you're adjusting from K1 visa, but  doesn't for B1/B2, hence the need to redo our medicals. Thanks for the info though, i'm sure it will be of help to others.

That's awesome!  I just realized ours might be delayed now cause we had an RFE but not sure.

Our RFE was due to my ex being on one of my tax returns we mailed in so if that "paused" or restarted our time line were a month or so delayed at least. Grrr

I don't think RFE delays interview , I know for sure it sometime delay approval of EADs and AP but interview???

Did you get the RFE after your EAD or before?

Lol and we were just talking about this. That means i should get an update in a week or two. My PD is 05/10/2017. Congratulations!

 I know right, maybe they heard us talking and got tired of us whining and was like... ok you can have your interview dates now. I'm positive you'll get yours soon, its about that time.

We're so excited and nervous at the same time, my husband has asked me to take deep breaths like a thousand times since I got the update cause I'm freaking out. He's the petitioner and my child and I came here on B2 visa, so with all the bad news flying everywhere, its making me more scared.

We've tons of pictures with friends and families, joint lease, I'm an authorized user on 2 his credit cards, joint bank account, car insurance,  beneficiary of his SGLI military life insurance and medical insurance, I still feel all of these are not enough and its making me scared, i have read several peoples interview experience her on VJ and that has calmed me down a little bit, just having an idea of questions they can ask.

Any advise/ideas/help on how to prepare for the big day would highly be appreciated.:help:

Yeah mine was received on April 10th. I enquired with Congress last week, no reply.

I managed to get an infopass for next Tuesday to enquire about my advance parole, meant to be going abroad for work throughout the summer. Got my letter about the automatic EAD extension, but it's the AP I need right now.

Oh, so how did you get the letter for EAD extension, do you automatically get that when you renew your EAD?

I spoke one of the lawyers she told me green card interviews are taking from 12 to 18 months and I asked her why this is taking that long she said because of Donald Trump's administration. too much work load and not enough staff so it is normal.

And now they are skipping old applications and attending to recent ones first to help with the backlogs and avoid issuance of EADs.

    Sorry I was not clear.

I have sent my ead extension paperwork to Chicago lock box.( uscis)  According to usps the package arrived to the uscis. However uscis did not sent my any notification that they have received my ead extension forms etc. Should I have received one already? As you know we have received nao1 and nao2 on first application.

It took me 10 days to get my NOA for EAD renewal. And I got another letter few days after saying I didn't need to fingerprint again as they still have the previous one on file. Just wait a little bit more, as long as you filled out everything correctly you'll definitely get your NOA. Good luck

373 days in and I'm still waiting for the Dallas, TX office, last update was August 2017 and February 2018 both saying 'Interview is being scheduled'

Sent in renewal 40 days ago for my EAD, as that's due to expire August.

Here's to hoping something soon updates!

You're not alone, I have similar timeline with yours, same field office and here we are still waiting after a WHOLE year, patience is key.
