I am a May 15 filer too. They are working on May 4 and 5 now as these have been the latest approvals. I would not worry too much about submitting anything now. We should be looked at in about 10 days to two weeks if they keep going at this pace...maybe a little slower as Monday is a Federal Holiday.
I am may 2nd, no approval here

The I-134 is based on your financial support to the beneficiary (your fiancé). Meaning, you are providing information that shows you meet the poverty requirement.
Debt is not considered financial support. The Embassy is not taking any "owed debt" into account. The purpose of the form to make sure that you can afford to take care of your fiancé so that he/she does not become a "public charge" to the US. In short, the government wants to make sure you can afford to take care of your fiancé so that they don't need any state or federal assistance (i.e. welfare).
Any owed debt has no bearing on this matter.
Correct...along with your financial supporting documents that are required to show you have sufficient income that meets the US poverty guidelines.
So it's not anything we have to "file"per say. I only have about 6.5k in my savings because I was previously a student but now I have a job where my minimal income (excluding my commission) is 22k gross. With commission I make roughly an extra 150-500 per month. I live in a guest house on a big property that my parents own with no monthly charge. Do you think that there will be any problems? I know poverty is 16.4k or around there and I make more than 130% of poverty

For the i-134, you just mail it to your beneficiary to take to their interview right?

May 5th here!! Can anyone tell me why there seems to be a preference for Philippine applicants? Praying this thing starts to move faster for some of us non-Philippine applicants. We want to see our spouses too
There are just a larger amount of people coming from The Phillipines

Day 156, May 2nd filer... No end in sight

What if you live in a guest house at your parents property and pay literally nothing? How would I write that down?

Ugh... just call customer service again.. They said the current processing time can take up to 8 months... but that it may be optimistic to think minimum 6.... So I have one more month to wait.... 147 days here..... That was on thrusday. Today I tried to do an case inquiry on the uscis website and it says I am not allow to do so because I'm still on the "regular" processing time... so frustrating....
Did you talk to tier 1 or 2?

Here in Brazil people usually have the POE a month or a month and a half after receiving noa2!
It's pretty quick too, can schedule the interview in a week or two in advance as well
Thank you!!! Then even if it was late October that it was accepted a December wedding would still be possible!!
-
Day 150, We are hoping to get married the first week of December... The US Amsterdam Embassy is extremely quick, I have seen that the scheduled interviews sometimes as close as a week in advance. How long do you think it will be from NOA2 to Interview? Remember: Amsterdam goes at a very nice rate compared to many others. Thanks!! We want to give have an ideal date (not official) to look forward to
-
Gahhhhh I'm going to trust God that that is not the case for us! That is less common.. Did they submit an inquiry?

It does, thank you! I can't check right now because I'm at work but if I remember correctly I was literally about $400 under the line. And I currently have like $7,600 in savings and the number is growing. My fiance said he can transfer his money to me if I for some reason don't meet the line with what I have. Do you know which vaccines are required to become a permanent resident? And once he gets these vaccines, he should just keep a record of them for the permanent resident application?
You are fine even if you had a 2,000 dollar savings. They look at what you are bringing in and stability, sometimes they don't even look at it. Sometimes it depends on the embassy. Just make sure you make at least 16.5k + a year and be able to prove it. You will then have no problems. Cheers from florida
