That's awful. I've seen in the past weeks that the average was 2 weeks 3 top, but 4 weeks is a lot.  I hope they receive our cases soon, I am so anxious now.

Let's keep our fingers crossed and hope for the best!  Good Luck!

Hi Dear They finally received it Yesterday which is 3 weeks and 4 days and I got my case number today.

Hi everyone! I know someone might have already asked this but call NVC after 2 weeks of NOA2 or wait the 4-6 weeks they said? And anyone from mexico that is going to the Cuidad Juarez Consulado?

Yes you can start calling after 1-2 weeks after your NOA2 approval.

Mine took 3 weeks until the NVC got my case. I called both Non Immigrant (603) -334-0888  & Immigrant side (603) 334-0700.

Hi congratulations on your approval and so as getting the case number from NVC

I would just like to ask, what was mentioned on your Noa2 bec. Ours was mentioned "it has been forwarded to the listed consulate"

    Thank you

Hey Thank You and Congrats as well!

On the NOA2 they stated they sent the original visa petition to the NVC department and USCIS has completed all action ; further inquires should be directed to the NVC

    Hi guys.

It's been 2 weeks since our case was approved but NVC still doesn't receive it yet.

Do you know if there's some delays or maybe this is just normal?

    Thanks for your help

I'm currently in the same boat ! Friday will make 4 weeks and NVC haven't received my case as yet ! They say it usually takes up to 6 weeks to receive cases from USCIS! Hopefully we hear something soon!

Since I am the sponsor you mean Grace who is traveling here as the beneficiary needs to hand write or type a letter?   Can she email it? I could then print it out here.

    Ok. Not necessarily

Question : Did Grace wrote a Letter certifying intent to marry in 90 days of her arrival in the US? If no , then she will need to write one with her signature sign at the bottom and also she will need the USCIS response address to put at the top of the letter along with her address , then  she will mail it to you via FedEx etc

She can't e-mail it because her signature needs to be present.

    Drum roll please.............

It is with great excitement that after 111 days of craziness, we got the RFE notice today! So on to the approval..

I know not "officially approved"  but usually its something we can answer or provide and will get approved right? I have no idea just yet what they want, but surely we can get it right back to them and will get approval. If I get proof right away and it  sent back in we should be "officially approved"  in 2-3 weeks!!!!!  I kept telling Grace, "Just give me an approved or RFE  we will get through this, I know it!"

YES YES YES YES !!!!!!!!  And yes she is jumping for joy up and down!!!!

Now to get the RFE sent back in,  and in 1 1/2 - 2 months from approval, (HK is fast) Grace will be here!!!!

Thank you, Thank you, Thank you, to everyone putting up with us...

And to others, dream big, hang in there, you CAN do this too..  I am praying it's just a checked box or something.. if anyone else recently has had a RFE,  what was asked from you?

Hi there my fiancé and I had gotten a RFE as well via USCIS update online on 3/3/17 and we got the actual letter 3/9/17.

my thoughts to you guys is to look over your entire duplicate copy of your application you sent and requirements /or tried to remeber  If all requirements were met!

We notice that we didn't sent a beneficiary letter certifying intent to marry in 90 days.. oooh😔

So we immediately started working on our replies and also add additional photos of meeting in person etc, so when we actually got the RFE letter we were a step ahead in the response process.

We final gotten the hard copy letter

BAM! They require proof of beneficiary letter certifying intent to marry in 90 days. Then we responded in a weeks time and we got approved 3/24/17!

[Tip: 1) Make a copy of the RFE letter and Ensure the original BLUE RFE paper and RFE instruction is inside the immediate FRONT of your response folder/application to delay any process , makes it easier for them to scan you receipt number and restart the process !

    2) Use USPS priority mail so you could receive a tracking number and package reaches to USCIS in CSC in 2-3 days

    3) Ensure you reply to the CSC or given RE:// address to delay process]

Hope you feel better @AkesAngel and no worries I think we can wait a bit....all this is fustrating ...January 2017 filers already getting approved 😔... its pretty great for them but us?? October November and December? Pretty discouraging like others where saying 😔... but all we have is to hope and luck :(

From previous filers .. it looks like the faster you get USCIS approval .. things tend to be backed up once it reaches to NVC and the wait starts

    Hopes everyone gets approval soon!

I sent tax transcripts, w2's, check stubs for the year and letter from employer in letter head with length of employment, job title, yearly salary and that I am a full time permanent employee. I also sent a letter from my bank on their letter head with the length I've had the account, total deposits for the previous 12 months and current balance. Don't give anyone a reason to question your ability to support your significant other. Just assume there is a standard. Don't just meet the threshold, exceed it

    Hi,

If you could please fill out your country information on your timeline. Thank you.

    1)  Packet 3 is the mail or email you receive from the consulate requesting you to send in certain documents . It depends on      the embassy.

    2) Packet 4 depends on the embassy. Look that up on your consulates website.

    3) Yes they are, again, you would have to look at the consulate information of your embassy here on VJ.

    All the best.

Thank You PrisEri! I will check it out !

    All the best
