TearsOfBabylon reacted to dkmfan85 in I-129F March 2017 Filers
I've had a couple days now to think things over. I know a lot of you probably already know this, but it really doesn't hurt to emphasize the importance of patience and communication. We're all, or were, in multicultural relationships. We have a wide variety of backgrounds, standards, expectations, taboos, values that have been formed from our upbringings and the cultures that surround us. Everyone has their strengths and weaknesses. It's so very important to ask questions if you don't understand something. As important as asking questions is not being offended when you are asked questions. A desire to understand one another stems from love, not malice. Be patient. It might take explaining the same things a few times for something to "click." Always give the benefit of the doubt. You might be really awesome and know a lot of things, but there is always someone smarter, stronger, better than you. Be humble. You can't be right all the time. We all make mistakes. Recognize them early and apologize quickly and be sincere. Make a genuine effort to be better each day. We all have our ups and downs. Roll with the punches. Life isn't a fairy tale, but you can do your best to make sure the best moments are as close as you can get to that ideal.

hello,
case ready at NVC today , my F got an email with the instructions , we submitted the DS-160 and I have to send later today a checklist confirming I have all the documents ready and I think that's when they will let me know I can pay and book the interview . I think this is how it works for Romanian US embassy .
Or you guys could pay the visa fee before scheduling the interview?

I'm known as Miss Google for a reason
The three numbers after the year is the day of the year+500 (01/01=501, 01/02=502...). And yes, the last three, as you said, mean "created that day for your country".

At least it will cause laughter once I show up with that lol

I precisely advise you to maybe ask @Alysia&Luis, since she is the USC and has filed the i-134. Honestly I didn't even really look at this stuff, since Scott has put everything together, and even if it hurt my German precision heart - I trusted him with his paperwork.
Oh noooo! I'm so sorry to hear that... especially since you had such a long wait! Hugs over to you! I hope for you that everything will turn out to the good, no matter which path you will follow. From what I could tell by reading you here for so long you're a very sweet person, so I wish you the best!
CONGRATULATIONS!!!!
I was following you and am so happy to read that!

Oh my god my fiance just messaged me and we were approved! I was super nervous for the interview for some reason, so I spent like an hour just curled around my phone. It went super quick for him, he said literally maybe 20 minutes maximum between each spot. And no questions about my joint sponsor (was super worried) or really anything about us. Just glances through the paperwork and approved!

Thank you, it really means a lot to me. As they say, it takes two to tango, and my amazing partner has decided to leave the dance floor. I respect her decision, though it hurts me deeply, and wish her only happiness and success wherever her life may take her.
Striving to better, oft we mar what's well.

Got a call from the Montreal Consulate this morning. The "glitch" with my fiance's fingerprints was fixed over the weekend and she doesn't have to go back in and they will process the visa and send it out soon. Back on track!

Hello everyone! I set out our I-129F on march 1st. My fiancé and I waited 168 days between our NOA1 and NOA2, it's taken forever! I've tried looking at similar timelines to get an idea of how much longer the rest of the process will take but I can't find any similar to our times that have taken this long. How long should I expect to wait before my fiancé is contacted for an interview? Will we get to spend the holidays together or is that just wishful thinking?
I hope most of you March filers are well on your way by now! Best of luck to everyone!

Really quiet here.... Good chance to remind uscis how many have been left behind and have at least 2000 approvals after their receive date.
@GInAustin @JulzGhen @Lovemycroatianman from February, maybe more that I haven't noticed
From March:
@Ste&Sel @SimplyBlessed @FutureMrsBennett @AfricanQ @falcao79 @annachka @AJ&Milena and more I cannot remember at this time
then there is @Unshakable Faith who has incredible strength to persist in what is right.
The poor April filers, over 4 months from filing - and right behind the March expansion from 90 day usual to 120 to 150 day usual - have been picked through as well with some approvals capriciously spaced without rhyme and reason.
Really wish you all well, praying for you that they get their backlog caught up this week to get you moving. Tomorrow is no mail Sunday, but wouldn't it be nice to get all these left behind to NVC this coming week?
surely that would be a good week, indeed........

Hi guys! The NOA2 is finally here after almost 150 days!
I have a question re: co-sponsorship. Has anyone done that or planning to do? Are you preparing a letter explaining the reasons why the co-sponsor is willing to co-sponsor?

TearsOfBabylon reacted to TabeaK in German people...rührt euch!!

TearsOfBabylon reacted to little immigrant in German people...rührt euch!!
