Hey fellows!
I hope you've had a terrific Easter, although everyone of us is missing someone.
I'm still busy with sorting and getting rid of my household stuff. It's still increasing; at least that's what it seems to me!

So great to see so many people here booking flights to visit their loved ones.
I kind of envy you, because we won't travel until I go for good, to save vacation days and money. My paranoid brain already wonders if they'll doubt us being bona fide, because we didn't see us since I stepped on my plane back on January 2nd.

Plus he's in the military, right now stationed at a school installation kind of thing, where it seems a pain to get leave. He wanted to surprise visit me RIGHT NOW, end of April, but since they never get going with leave permissions, it failed. Now we finally decided to wait til I come for good, because he likely can't get leave in summer, so it's only a little longer until I move.

Still: sighs... He would have loved coming back to Germany for one more time. 

Sooooooo.... make the best of it, reduce the belongings and hang out here with you guys!

I don't have any pets but I am afraid I will be living in a zoo when I move, because my fiance wants to have a dog, my sone wants a cat, and my daughter is thinking of rabbits

He has cats? It must be difficult to combine cats and the military service
 
And funny faces do make my life better, if he wasn't so goofy, it would be much more difficult to wait
 

So does mine. Or he shows me the cats! Haha!

I would have loved a visit too. 10 months worst case are a long time. But we've made it through 8 months last year already. So it will be fine!

Yeah I might be able to go for a few days instead of the nine days I had been planning and I may not get this second job either but I kinda have a feeling I will considering its in my village and I know the board of the golf course as I went to school with all of them except for my brother-in-law. lol They all know I am moving but this is a temp job until mid - September anyway.

Just wanted to pop in and give a little ray of hope to the March filers.  Based on last night's scan of the February filers, they have officially starting touching and approving February cases.  These don't appear to be expedited cases and instead seem to be the first steps in moving forward from December and January.  There weren't many approved (8 yesterday, 4 the day before) but it did get me a little excited to see the start of some progress on February.  We all still have a bit of a wait ahead of us but just thought I'd come over here and share the news.

Ohhhhh so sorry to hear that!
But focus on the good cause it stands for. And it's only half a year!
Maybe you'll find a way!

I would love September to be doable but I was aiming for October and aiming for September for my interview and medical. It will all work out in the end. I broke down last night chatting with my fiance because if I get this second job visiting him probably won't happen. I really really want this second job because even at 10 hours a week it would net me about an extra 400 a month and every little bit helps with this process. Some days for me are better than others. Some days I am super strong and I know I have this or like last night I just bawled on video chat for two hours while he patiently calmed me down like he always does.

That should be doable, why not? If you don't have to wait too much for your interview after the approval, you have every chance to move in September.
I wish I could hope for the same time, but we can't afford it because there are 3 of us moving, we'll have to book tickets well in advance to get cheaper ones.

Some cases take less time than the other ones, and yours could be one of them.

Mine says June 7th - June 13th.
I am not sure we'll get it as early as that, there are so many people waiting since December and even November.
 

July is so soon! My fiance has just booked tickets to come visit me in August, I am so excited! I do hope to schedule the interview for that time.
 
 
 

Day 29 here.. 1/3rd of the way there. Lord willing...
 
If I can vent a bit.. I know a few posts back I said I was grateful for my own space in this stressful time of mine. But... over this Easter weekend, an immense feeling that something was missing came over me. It wasn't until I sat down beside my grandpa and my uncle who were going back and forth about Cuba that I realized the only thing missing was my mister... I could picture him Corona in hand and in the middle of the convo; telling jokes the way my grandfather does... with a straight face lol I never know when to laugh or take them seriously. It just made the longing a little bit worse. 
 
And all the questions!! How is he? What is he doing? When is he coming? Is he excited? So what are the plans?... oh and the best ones are the stories of "I just met someone from Cuba who got here a couple of months ago... they did it like this and this and then bam they were here." LOL! I'm always like "that's awesome!! But we're going the K1 route.. and yes it does take that long." People sure do have their 2 cents and see me as a piggy bank hahahahhaahaaa. I'm just ready for him to get here! Or at least get the NOA2!!

Isn't it though. Its so nice to be in this together and when we get all frustrated we can vent here and everyone understands.  Day 32 here.

Today make it 40 days waiting on the NOA2.... According to the VJ timeline. I have 54 days Left. On our 59days counting which is May 4 is my beautiful beneficiary Fiancée Birthday; on her Birthday which is my working day we normally talk for bout an hour before i start working. What she doesn't know is that on that day this year she will be talking to me an hour before my flight on my way to celebrate her birthday with her.. While she will think I'll be working. I was with her for 19days from December 02 through December 21 last year's. Therefore she has no idea that I will come. I can't wait to see her reaction. It's being a tough waiting but with that surprise trip I'm hoping that the waiting get a little painless....Good luck to you guys..
