  1. Call SSA Headquarters in MD. Wait 2 weeks from the day you received your actual GC though. Not since you were approved.
  2. You can check I765, I131 and I485 timelines on the processing times website. They fluctuate often so you'll have to keep monitoring them. Both I765 and I131 are processed at the National Benefits Center (so you'll select that on the drop down menu when you check). I765 and I131 have separate timelines however they will usually come as a Combo Card, provided you filed them at the same time and provided you didn't expedite either of them. So because they are separate, you'll be expecting your Combo Card to take the longer of the two timelines. I485 is previewed for completeness at the National Benefits Center but is transferred to your local field office to await your interview so you'll select your local field office on the website. Don't know which one is your local field office to check your I485? No, it has nothing to do with where you did biometrics. Scroll to the bottom HERE and enter your zip code as your local field office determination is based on zip code not city. The Estimated Processing Times website is THE most important website you will ever need for your process. LEARNING how to use it is important. Save it and you can monitor your estimated processing timelines up until you become a citizen: https://egov.uscis.gov/processing-times/

  4. Passport and shipping receipt proving you mailed your documents to the I485 Lockbox allocated to your state is what is recommended until you receive I485 Noa1. DL laws vary by state. In many states, a K1 cannot drive passed the 90 day period. Some states will allow DL renewal with I485 Noa1 but many will not. You can Google "(your state) driver's license non-US citizen" and look for the link to your state's DMV website explaining what documents you need in your state and whether a temp DL can be renewed.
  5. Honestly now guys, they are just trolling. How many of us have to comment to get the point across? They have no desire to fill out a timeline.
  6. Anywhere you LIVED... you had a lease, owned, lived in dormitory/barracks. Vacation doesn't count as you would still have had your primary residence.
  7. Your comment was in response to @Jorgedig's response which is indeed about K1 AOSing. Filling out your timeline explaining WHEN you received an I129F in 30 days (as that's not realistic in 2022 for normal, non-expedited filers) and then an embassy interview in 30 days (as that's not realistic at any embassy right now) (and WHY it was so quick for you) and why you never received a 2 yr CPR Greencard interview nor a 10 yr LPR Greencard interview either would be helpful for the OP. As of now, your argument is unsupported and in my books, could be considered trolling.
  8. This post is about K1 AOS, not K1 Visas. We are talking about the down sides to not being able to work, drive or leave the US for a long time while AOSing as a K1. Again, fill out your timeline for context. Giving the OP the false hope that an I129F approval and subsequent K1 visa approval can take 60 days without expedite or special conditions in today's world is not fair.
  9. Topic moved to appropriate forum as OP is not a K1. "Adjustment of status from work, student & tourist visas" is correct forum.
  10. Impossible. K1 AOSers don't get approved until after their GC interview. Fill out your time line for context.
  11. The AOS applicant (ie. Foreigner K1 beneficiary) cannot work while waiting for EAD/AOS process regardless of where the work takes place. You would have to stop running your business abroad while you wait. How would they find out. You'd have to file taxes including your world wide income the first year your arrived and got married. Driver's license laws vary by state. Tourists are allowed to drive in the US with IDLs. Those who entered as immigrant K1 Visas cannot drive with IDLs in most states.
  12. That's irrelevant. Each petition is separate. There may be two different ppl reviewing them for receipt even.
  13. You received the confirmation so it's confirmed. You can also Ask Emma to speak to a live rep.
  14. Each petition is separate. Noa1 can take up to 30 days from when the shipment was received not sent. You are eligible to contact the lockbox by email after 30 days. (It hasn't been 30 days).
  15. Use the search icon at the right top of the page. Input "Month Year AOS Filers". I'd read through several months worth. As in search for: "January 2022 AOS Filers" "February 2022 AOS Filers" Etc Etc Up until the current month of July. You understand you can find information on anything including the several questions you already asked by inputting keywords into that same search icon, right?
  16. Pretty sure I commented this a couple of posts ago when at all of the threads were unnecessarily singular. Have you tried joining your K1 AOS month of filing thread where all of your peers are filing at the same time? Have you tried joining the K1 AOS monthly thread a few months in a row back? There is one every month. You just have to search them out. You don't need a lawyer. You need to read about the process and forms as discussed by your peers. You won't need to ask so many basics then.
  17. You FILED AOS, right? You must FILE AOS within one year of receiving the overseas medical. It does not matter when you get interviewed. Depends. Did you complete all of the vaccination requirements overseas AND is your DS3025 marked as complete? Did you provide a photocopy of your DS3025 with your I485 as strongly recommended? Will your A-file make its way to your local field office on time for your interview? (No one can answer that). Are you going to bring your copy of the DS3025 and a photocopy anyways to your interview, and a copy of the pages of the policy manual for the K1 exemption AND speak up if your IO doesn't know the K1 medical exemption procedure? Will your IO be a smart one and even know the K1 medical exemption procedure? (Again, no one can answer that). As you can see, there are somethings you can control and somethings you can't. Not sure what you mean by that? If you're IO asks for a new medical, and you've done everything at your interview to show them you have a valid K1 exemption, then you'll need to find a civil surgeon from the USCIS list and redo your medical on an I693. Your family doctor here will have nothing to do with that. How will anyone know if you don't have to redo the medical? And even if you have to redo the medical, you'll have documentation of your mental health treatment to show the Civil Surgeon, right? Lots of posts about the K1 medical and the policies surrounding its validity for K1 AOS, what to file with AOS and what to bring to your interview (medical wise) and what to do if you get an uneducated IO. You just have to search those posts out.
  18. The I751 REMINDER to file I751 is junk mail. You don't need it and not everyone gets it. If it was sent to your current address TOO you know your address has been updated.
  19. This is a common occurrence. It's been asked many times so we know the result is it's not a different address. It's the same place. How will you know? I answered that above.
  20. You still don't have a problem. Wait for your status to update. Can take 60 days. 🥰
  21. Two urgent suggestions: 1. 2. Join the thread for your month of current AOS filers where each month, basic questions are answered by your peers.
  22. Post the TWO RFE address options on the actual RFEin screenshot format. You sent your package via USPS to the address meant for Courier not USPS. USPS packages always go to the POBox option. While it's your mistake for sending it to the wrong address, it doesn't really matter because both addresses can accept USPS shipments while the PO Box option CANNOT accept Courier shipments. You don't have a problem at all other than reading more carefully next time.
  23. Your answer is no. A refusal is not a denial unless it remains refused and visa not issued. https://travel.state.gov/content/travel/en/us-visas/visa-information-resources/administrative-processing-information.html
  24. It can take up to 120days for GC approval. Fill out your TIMELINE pls.
