    I have actually overheard Americans at my job downing foreigners. Especially illegals...but hey, I understand that. Its really bad sometimes because Atlanta is a racial metropolis. I mean I can drive or walk miles and not see a Black American or White American. But personally, I could care less...people are people. I wish it didn't happen, but this world is not perfect. People get threatened by change and more competition, I guess. I don't know...I just know I am adding one more LEGAL foreigner to Atlanta in a few months. :D

    I forgot to add that I am a black american woman, with red hair, who speaks spanish fluently, is engaged to an African and the mother of a 1/2 German daughter. (I was married to a German-American for 8 yrs).

    The Mexican government should give the woman a job and welfare payments so she can support her kid in Mexico instead of blaming the USA for all their problems. They sure don't have any problem encouraging their people to go north (leaving their families behind) so they can send cash back to Mexico.

    In the end...it ain't up to Mexico to set US policy.

    No, seriously, because we met and fell in love. Has nothing to do with his nationality, as I'd be very happy if we suddenly magically discovered he was American so I could tell the Department of State to bite me.

    Just kinda happened this way...I think we all have our preferences and mine happens to be dilligent, handsome, loving, sincere, tall, black dudes... :D

    Does Lagos need to confirm by phone or email that they have the packet? Or is having the USCIS letter and the NVC letter enough to send your fiance to Lagos to retrieve the packets? I sent Lagos an email last Wednesday including my NVC case# and I don't have a reply yet. I have the USCIS letter and expect the NVC letter on Monday. If I scan and send to my fiance, does he have enough to get the packet? Will they turn him away?
