I also used emails, cards, postal mail, phone bill copies, calling card copies etc...I also had a few of my close friends write letters to my fiance and send him cards. He keeps the envelopes because they are date stamped.

That same info was on USCIS website waiting for me when i logged in to check on the status of my case weeks ago. I think the concrete interpretation to that notice may be that your case will have a shorter processing time than what obtains on USCIS processing times for your service center. That is not surprising because your case would have been reviewed to almost completion pending the RFE sent to you.
It means the final determination of your case is pretty much around the corner: Approval here u come....

I have found that for travel from Nigeria to USA, some of these websites are not Naija-friendly. North American Airlines allows you that option of placing Lagos as departure city but some others do not even have Nigeria in the list of countries..................annoying, if you ask me...
So apart from NAA, Airfrance and KLM, what other airline permits you to place Lagos or Abuja as departure city?? Any ideas???
Ohhhh I am annoyed with the same situation . I did find that United will allow you to search and fly out of Lagos since their partner is Luftansa. Even if you find a flight for your fiance, how do you pay for it? Most won't allow you to book it online with your credit card (at least I was told that). I really worry about sending my fiance $1,000 via western union for a ticket. I don't want him to have to walk around with $1,000 in his pocket...makes me uneasy. I would prefer to use my visa in case anything happens, I am protected.
What are some of your thoughts or experiences? I am really hoping for a deal of some sort too...hopefully less than $1,000!

Thank you for all the reassurance and support. I am so glad I found this site!

Hey I am from Mentor...living in Atlanta, GA now. I wish you & your fiance the best at the interview...even if you weren't a fellow Ohio gal like me!
-
I hope he has had a speedy recovery from that bout with malaria. I wish you the best on your interview. You are in my prayers.

May you too be together soon & for a lifetime.

Does the notary on the Affidavit of Support have to be a raised seal? Mine was done by a notary whose seal was more like a stamp...not raised. I thought I read somewhere that it had to be raised. Help me please.

I sent only one page of the G325A and it was handwritten and signed by my fiance & I. I didn't know that it was a 4 pg form. Has anyone else ever gotten this RFE? I got my IMBRA but haven't gotten this RFE...Help if you can.

I think we all feel that way...its very difficult to exercise patience when so many around us are with the one they love already. Also, we read about each other on VJ getting approvals, scheduling flights and finally being together. It causes angst and true pain at times to be the one waiting and waiting. I tell you...if I didn't work full time & keep myself busy during the weekends, I'd cry alot more than I do! But I do remember this...I love this man and I chose this man. He is worth every second that I spend waiting for him. (And if it turns out he's not, I know exactly where to hide the body)

I think she will get the visa with no problem! Thanks for clarifying those dates.

This is so pitiful. Report her ASAP and file a police report for the missing money.

best wishes...

Jen, I am so happy to hear this! Congrats to you & David! Pretty soon I will post a message like this about my David too!

This is why I opened an account with Wachovia. I know its off topic, but Customer Service these days is below standard. They don't even try to consider your life and what you are trying to accomplish if it's outside their "procedures". I mean man, you need a letter. Does anyone know how to write a letter anymore? *(Form letters not included)

It's not a choice. I think at one point they were processing most I129F's out of CSC. I specifically mailed mine to TSC, but the case was transferred to CSC.

Down with Mickey D's!

I actually made a mistake by only including 1 pg of the G325A instead of all 4. I had to wait all this time for the RFE. Any changes/additions will have to wait for an RFE to be mailed and then you will send it back with the RFE form.

my touch on the 19th was an RFE
