As a good rule of thumb, make a cover letter with a checklist of all that was included in the packet. It is not uncommon to have some misplaced documents.
Did you include the following?
1. affidavits
2. Medical Coverage showing both your names
3. Auto insurance coverage showing both your names
4. Home or renters insurance coverage showing both your names
5. Life insurance showing both your names as beneficiaries of each other.
6. Lease agreements or deeds showing both your names
7. Joint bank accounts
8. Joint taxes
9. Photos of travel and memories together.
10. bank statement showing money flowing between your accounts.
11. Utility bills for your residence showing both your names.
If you can, then apply.

Every ROC case isn't sent to NBC/MSC, you for instance ended up with LIN, right? I ended up with WAC. Those cases who did end up with MSC, mostly CR-1 cases from what I have seen in the last few months threads here on VJ, are likely to get interviews. They are sent to NBC for a reason, and NBC prepares cases for interviews.
I have seen a few cases that have in fact been transferred from the first service center they were assigned to, to NBC to be prepared for an interview, yes. So it's possible, but I have no idea how common it is. Likely many of those cases are those with not enough proof of bonafide marriage, so the first service center can't make a decision. They can only send RFEs in such circumstances, and if the RFE still isn't good enough, an interview is likely next.
Either way, an interview is nothing to fear, it's a great opportunity to convince the IO that you have a bonafide marriage. I had an interview for AOS and hope for one for my ROC too, it was a great experience and the IO could really tell how real we are. Also, my field office isn't too badly backed up, if getting an interview my case might actually go faster than being stuck at CSC for God knows how long. I'm also only 10 minutes away from my LFO, which helps a lot. Some have to drive hours to get there.

Not an option for ROC. You'll be able to file the N-400 online though, if you plan on becoming a citizen.

Had my interview today, and and and.... It's APPROVED. They approved our case and the status changed to New Card being Produced even before we reached home. Interview went well and the interviewer was really professional and easy going she asked for our marriage documents, latest tax returns, and Life insurance policies which we didn't have it at that moment but she as okay with it and said it's fine no problem. She asked us just the basic question. So relieved to get done with this. Thanks to everyone on this forum all those key information really helped us a lot. Good luck to everyone.

Thank you. I just got an update that my New Card was mailed to me.
Well on the interview letter you'll have a list of documents that you need to bring with you to the interview normally that list is more of a generic one. In our case thanks to my wife coz she did all of the paperwork, we did take all the originals with us, her's the list of docs that we carried.
1. Photo ID's. Passport., EAD's.
2. Joint documents having both of our names such as bank accounts, Vehicle Insurance, and Lease papers.
3. Photos, not just the wedding pics they expect you to show some pics before and after wedding and while you're dating each other. Take plenty of pictures they will keep some.
4. Birth certificate both of them.
5. Naturalization certificate of your petitioner, his/her passport as well.
6. Latest tax returns (2016) (don't forget this)
7. Marriage Certificate.(don't forget this)
8. Life Insurance, 401K (make sure you're spouses name is listed as a beneficiar, don't forget this)
9. Carried all the originals that we submitted at the time of filing the application.
Questions that were asked during our Interview:
Started off asking my DOB, place of birth and validated all the details on the application.
Place and date of marriage
How long you have been married.
Then she asked me how did I meet my spouse and where did I meet her.
Where we worked and are we living together.
Have we separated in the past year.
She was satisfied and case approved.
(Don't panic answer calmly)
Good luck to you all.

just wait for a day or two it'll show up on your MYUSPS app. For me it popped up the very next day after the case status was updated and the day after my card was delivered.

That makes sense. Even I spoke to the tier 2 agent when I received the "card in production " update and she told me to call back after two weeks if you don't see your card in the mail. Will wait for few more days. Thank you.

Look what I found. Finally my EAD got processed. Hopefully it would be a combo card so that I need not worry about the AP as well. Thanks everyone.

It depends on the local office where your AOS file is being reviewed. You can check the processing time on the USCIS website

Last week when I called USCIS to check on my case they told me that they're now issuing a combo card for EAD/AP. So hopefully you should be good on your AP as well.
