And finally it's done! I heard the golden words today 'Your Visa is approved' and I jumped with joy. I was so relieved that I couldn't control my excitement and the interviewer shared my joy. What a day! 
 
Thank you everyone for all the support and special love for @Abies for being the much needed sunshine on low days! 
 
Also best wishes from my universe to everyone who is waiting to join their special halves...It's just around the corner, be positive and remember you are in my prayers 😊

Alhamdolillah,  Yesterday i recieved my GC in mail thanks to all of you for help.   😇
GC received in 2 weeks after my POE. 

I had an interview at Montreal today and got approved ! Question I was asked :how and when did you meet your husband ?where does your husband live ?what does your husband do?how often do you see each other’s? Goodluck everyone !

My visa has been issued and my passport is ready to be collected..on the same day!!!! Thank you so much to everyone here for their support. And i wish everyone a very speedy process whether you're waiting for CC, interview date or to get issued. It has been  1 year and 25 days since we petitioned for CR-1 visa. All thanks to GOD for finally putting this long stressful yet anticipating exciting journey to an end.

my interview date is 23rd Oct next week

Sis the post office told me that it was delivered and that it was possibly put into the wrong person's mailbox because the regular mailman called out sick that day.
I had my apartment office contacting my neighbors that could've gotten it. So they started checking their mailboxes. It was my next door neighbor that got it. 
So hubby has his green card now.

UPDATE: Hi guys i just got my SSC from the mailbox today,now waiting for my GC to arrived and i just got a job today......looks like my process is getting faster than i expected

1st things first, don't call him your hubby. I know our culture permits that, but just that word alone can cause a denial. Get into the habit of not calling him your hubby.
 
I would advise that you don't spend any money on wedding planning. I did and lost all the money due to denial. 
Your wedding date can come and pass by because they haven't issued the visa yet. You can't force their hand, it's no longer as fast as before. 
 
If you have done traditional engagement, just obtain a traditional marriage certificate or do court wedding in Nigeria.
 
That was my situation. It will not be fast, it will not be easy, it will even shock you but only if you don't learn from my and others mistakes here.

Hey so I waited one week and took my hubby to the SSA office, he received his card yesterday, less than a week after I took him  to the office. So wait until it's a week after you've been here then go into the office. They'll put your information into the system themselves, tell them it's your first time applying. 

I thank God my visa was approved today in Lagos. but my eyes saw miracle today. More than 30 questions but God See Me through. Thank u all and I will paste the questions am able to remember

I had my interview today the 27th September 2018 at the Lagos consulate. My interview was for 06:45am, I got to the embassy around 05:00am. After all the security check, I was able to have my interview around 08:05am by 08:13 I was already out of the embassy, I was interviewed by white American woman, very nice lady.
These are the questions the co asked
1. Why are u going to the US?
2. How long have we been married?
3. When did we meet?
4. When did we get married?
5. How did I meet my husband?
6. Did someone introduce us or we ran into each other?
7. Where does my husband work?
8. Who attended our wedding?
9. My husband's home address?
10. Did his parents came for the wedding?
11. She asked if his parents are in the US?
12. She asked if my parents came to our wedding?
13. Can I see ur wedding pictures?
I gave her some of the pictures I printed out, then I told her I also have an album, she said wow, that's a nice and huge album. She only went through few of the pictures.
She said I am going to approve your visa , she gave me 3 white paper for my right as a spouse of a US against domestic violence, paper for Visa pick and instructions for my green card.
Note she never asked for the W2, tax ,Aos , call log and our chat records etc.

Congratulations buddy. We are finally in the US.
 
Remember I told you I will be doing the cna programme then get a hospital job so as to familiarise the US hospital environment,work for awhile with the cna before I will challenge the California board of nursing exams. 
 
My husband and I have gone to make enquiries/payment for a CNA program in our neighbourhood,by God's grace my start date is Oct 8th 2018 and it's a four weeks programme.

Trust you all have been doing great? Oh well,im now a Legal Permanent Resident Of the US of A.
 
Arrived the Los Angeles International Airport on Sept 22nd 2018 at about 1:23pm PDT.
The queue was really a long one but joined it and finally it was my turn. 
 
The first officer asked for my name,husband's name,date and place of marriage,date and place of birth and made me declare what i came in with on a customs sheet I was given on board,wrote on my documents,finger printed and snapped me then told me to wait for another officer who came and took my package from me,asked for date of marriage and if there's any change on my address,made me sign on a document thereafter,he Inspected and admitted me into the U.S with the CR1 stamp on my passport.

Congratulations to all those who got their visas approved and a special congratulations to my beloved sister @Mrs Prestige  who woke me up with the great news that her visa was approved today. I'm so happy for you sis because we finally made it. 
 
To all those still waiting for their interview letters,my prayers and thoughts are with you guys.

Hi I had my visa interview today and it was approved. However visa officer kept my civil documents and all other documents. Is this normal? Status changed to AP now.
