In and out of the embassy in under and hour, very quick, the whole process.
 
Not sure why they want you to take copies of each document though, they never took or asked for any of it, took all the originals and gave me back my birth certificate and CD with lung x-rays on. Said I will get my documents back later (I assume with the passport). Also just one photo, but they ask for two on the checklist. Also, just took the letter from employer for the I-134, didn't want the tax stuff. Security seems to have been beefed up a little, maybe because of the tube bomb/terror alert this morning in London. Anyway ...
 
Questions asked:
 
Where have you met ?
When you went to the States, did you meet her family ?
Where does she live ?
Where was she born ? (I suspect, since they can see her Birth certificate, they tried to catch me out on this one since it differs from where she lives now) 😉
 
Then said, he is going ahead and issue the visa. Job done, not even 5 minutes at the window !

What's up everyone .. been away for quite some time, miss the regular march filer updates, what's going on ?? I think our thread is the busiest of them all 
 
Anyway, just checking in and letting everyone know, tomorrow is the day. Interview at 12:30 BST 
House sale is going well, about to exchange contracts, I think, a little too quick actually. I was planning on leaving end of October when my notice period at work ends, but will try and stall it. Never ever thought I would stall the whole process on purpose, but all moving quickly now and need to put on some brakes to sort my life out first 
 
Will update tomorrow after interview, everything for the interview is in this blue folder, ready to just grab on my way to London tomorrow, wish me luck !!
 

Just got home internet restored, cell phones were down, including any internet anywhere, sheeez - what a storm, but really REALLY blessed I had no damage or loss in the storm.  75 hour shift (a new record for me) then cleaning up limbs and debris around the house - well, it's a hot day and a good chance to sit in the AC and cool off.
 
So much to catch up on!!!   I'm so happy to see the NOA2s!!!!  Those from March especially, I'm so happy to see you moving along.  @Ste&Sel I am sure this has to be right around the corner for you.

I'm so proud of Ann  She has now completed her medical, and CFO.  We are just sitting patiently now waiting for the interview on Oct 6.  I fly on 10/3 - land on 10/4 - we'll all meet up in Manila and catch up for the last 4 months I haven't seen Ann and her family.

Hi everyone! We got married Tuesday morning in a nearby park in Plano, Texas. It was just us and his best friend, so it was really nice and simple.  I'm hoping to have my AOS packet sent off in the next week or two. Can't wait to see some more photos from others soon!

Thank you lord. I got RFE on august 18 and they approved me today.

JUST GOT APPROVED. They should be sending NOA2 in a few days YES. (App just updated, but the app says approved sep 08!)!! Can't wait to move forward.

So happy im about to die!!

Congrats!!!  With the new updated I-485 form the G325A is no longer required.  Just make sure you have the current I-485   Other than that we also included the DS3025 (vaccine report) and a couple of photos from our small wedding.  

Congrats!  It did take a week for our e-notification and today (according to USPS informed delivery) we will be getting the hard copies in the mail 

Finally mailed our AOS packet last Friday. Hoping it arrives at the lockbox today. Looks like e-notifications for NOA1 are taking about 1 weeks. Here's to hoping for a speedy process for us September filers!

My fiancé had his interview today at the embassy in London. The entire process took less than 40 minutes. They asked for all the documents of the list, congratulated us on our engagement and then asked 1.) How we met, 2.) How many times he's been to the US, 3.) Asked if he met any friends or family while visiting, 4.) Asked if he had brought his dog over to the US (since that's how we met - long story), and then he said congrats again as your visa has been approved. My fiancé said he floated out of the embassy.
 
I want to say thank you to everyone on this forum for sharing your knowledge and your journeys. We found this forum only after our lawyer dropped the ball and forced us to play a lot of catch up. Through the sharing of your knowledge and personal experiences we were able to pick up the pieces and take our visa process from NOA2 all the way to approval. We've learned so much from you all.
 
Now we wait for the visa to be processed!!!

172 days which included an rfe I got the scan my noa2 is in the mail and I will have it today. Thank God the hard part is over!!

We bought the tickets! October 27th!!!

So I got my approval in the mail today 09/08. The notice date is a saturday 9/02 even though my case tracker was updated on tuesday with the date of 09/05. I will be updating my noa2 date to 09/02 on my timeline. I guess this adds to the theory that they work overtime(saturday) to process backlogged cases.

Our marriage certificate arrived in the post today - so we will be posting our AOS package early next week.  Here we go again folks!
