  2. Hi everybody. We are on the way home from the interview. I was approved on the spot! It was really nice and comfortable. The Officer only spoke with me and didn’t ask my husband to come. I was asked very common questions, the officer took all the paperwork that I brought like financial stuff, bills and didn’t even look at the pictures. He also didn’t really look at them carefully just told me he is approving the case and changed the status online while I was still present. It was a pleasure, my card is being produced :)

    One quick question.

Are you gonna fill out the form I-693 by a civil surgeon? I'm so confused about this form. I'm not sure which one we need to provide? DS-3025 or I-693?

No, I had a doctor check and the form filed by a doctor in my country when I filed for K1 and already submitted my vaccine form with the AoS packet. I know the medical is only valid for a year, although I know couples that weren’t asked to re submit it even when it already expired so I am not planning to give myself another vaccines unless they will ask for it, especially that the visit is quite expensive.

  4. Quick question to you guys: I got my I-131 accepted and received I-797 notice acceptance of this petition about month ago. In the notice it was written that I will receive Travel Document in a seperate mail with the validity dates and travel conditions, although I didnt receive nothing since then. Today I read the notice one more time and indeed I found the validity dates on the notice. Now I am wondering if the notice I first received is my travel document or should I expect another notice. To make it clear- I got EAD accepted earlier and received Work Permit card but it has a notice that it is only valid for work not for travel (or sth

like that). I am not sure if I should call them about it or what, maybe the I-797 is the document that will allow me to go abroad and come back?

  5. Hi guys, just short update from me. I just received a letter from uscis with my AP approval. It was a little surprise for me as I recently am checking my case tracker once/two weeks as I am not in rush anymore (got ead approved a while ago), but when I checked the tracker it indeed said my AP was approved at June 30th. Still no info about the Interview but I have a feeling it will happen soon. Good luck for everyone and Congrats to those who finished the process.

Where did you hear they are really strict now?

Somebody on this forum called and asked about expedite based on job offer and severe financial loss and they told him/her that right now they only do expedite in extremely crisis situations like somebodys death or sth, but I don’t know if its true, you should just call and ask, people may be different.

thank you so much for your response.

Do you need to tell the officer about your finance situation? I am not sure I am eligible for expedition based on severe financial loss to a person, I want to expedite because I have a job offer that I really want to take, is it enough to make an inquiry?

She didnt ask me about No details, I guess you should just call and find out.

    Hello,

Can you please guide me through all the steps that you did to expedite your EAD? and what did you tell the uscis officer (tier 2 officer?) about your situation? Did you need his/her approval to start the expedition?

    Please let me know...

    Thank you so much!

Hi, of course I can guide you, although I heard that they are really strict right now and it is way harder to get case expedited so I am not sure if my advice will help. Yes you need to call to make inquiry, First I called Uscis, and I didn’t even have to speak to tier 2. First person that I spoke to was able to make inquiry. I simply said that I want to expedite ead based on severe financial loss to a person and She did inquiry, asked me couple questions and told me that I will receive an email with fax number and information about paperwork they need me to fax. I got email the next day and responded to it. My fax contained:

    1. Cover page I made myself with all our information, case number, inquiry number etc. I explained in my own words how my situation looks like, why I want to expedite, why I need it so bad.

    2. print screen of the email that they send me, as it was said in the email to attach it to the fax.

    3. letter from my employer with job offer

    4. letter from employer with job description. Everything on official stationery. And that is all, 4 pages.

I didnt hear nothing from them at all for 3 weeks and than I received update that card is in production.

Hey guys, for those who’ve already had their EAD via expedition based on job offer. Could you tell me a little bit about the kinda offer, the due date to start work, and or whether you had your employer write an accompanying letter to USCIS to justify the offer explaining severe financial lost in the event of the employee not being able to accept the offer because of no EAD?

Hi. So my job offer letter was not really official. It just said in very common language that my employer is ready to hire me and willing to wait until my paperwork (Yes, they used Word paperwork :D ) will be expedited ALTHOUGH the contract start at certain date and the sooner the better, Thats pretty much what they said and if there is any additional questions they provided a phone number and email adress. The letter was written on the official company stationery. Also they wrote me job description letter. It was accepted within 3 weeks from sending a fax.
