What if I only have one of my Green cards only and I can not find the previews ones?

The instructions on the passport form are very clear about what you need to provide. https://eforms.state.gov/Forms/ds11.pdf
I read it. it is still not cleared if I have to provide picture or if they will take my passport picture. Or we have to do both.
What is the photo service do exactly? Should I schedule appointment with a passport only or passport and photo? -
Do I provide them with a passport photos or they are going to take my photo for applying for a passport?
Can anyone provide me with information about applying for the passport and the process? -

Out of the many hundreds of posts in this section of the forum I must have read by now, I've only ever seen one person whose naturalization certificate got lost. And you know what people are like, if it happened regularly everyone would be posting about it. I also didn’t like it, partly because I come from somewhere you’d never send anything of value through the mail, but everything came back safe and sound.
Thank you.

Right now 165,000 people a week are sending either their old passport or NC.
It's required.
If they lose it, file a claim.
Your passport will suffice to prove citizenship at that point.
It there any other way instead of sending it by mail.
Still does not make sense.
Thank you,

What if they lost my Naturalization Certificate?
Am I going to leave it there?
I am just worried that they will lose it when I apply for my passport.

Thank you,

Hi All,
Any one had or will have an interview at Pittsburgh office? How was the interview? is it the same day ceremony?
Thanks -

Interview was straight forward and easy with the yes/no questions taking majority of the time. Had to read "Who lives in the White House?" and write down "The President lives in the White House". I only remember 4/6 civics questions: "One thing Abraham Lincoln did", "When do we vote for President", "If President and VP can't serve, who becomes president", "Who's the speaker of the house." I didn't need to study considering my background, but you may want to if you aren't familiar with American history and politics in general.
Congratulations!
No ceremony in the same day? which office did you go? -

That's exactly what happened to me. I applied under the 3 year rule and when my interview came I was divorced but I was eligible under the 5 year rule. He denied me and recommended me to apply again under the 5 year rule. Check my timeline under the signature part
Did you get approved yet? How was the interview goes?

I agree with you. I guess it just hit me so hard because they had already known about my divorce and the circumstances 3 years ago and I thought it wasn’t an issue anymore. My ex husband knows I would’ve never taken advantage of him, I proved it to USCIS a long time ago and I’m a very sincere and honest person. I didn’t think there was a need to go at me as hard as she did.
but you’re right, it’s over now and being able to vote would be wonderful. But so far I just take this, even if I really have to wait another 4 monthsYou make me scared now. I have an interview soon and I am divorces I was for almost 3 years
I had the green card with no interview. but now I am just nerves. How would she/he (Officer) attack me. My relationship was real.
What type of questions and answers about the divorce could be?
Do you remember the questions?
Also congratulations.
And what if you were denied? losing the Green Card as well?

I am just thinking to change my name but I am not sure if it is a good idea and I don't know if it is going to help or have any advantage.
Did anyone change his name? is it a good idea?

Do you guys think they may give you a sentence to write not on the writing vocabulary?
Like Abraham Lincoln instead of Lincoln.
I mean Abraham is not on the vocabulary sheet.
Can the officer still ask to write it even if not on the sheet?

Instructions for N400 state: the past 3 years (or an IRS tax return transcript for the last 3 years)
Even if I am applying for naturalization based on 5 years

Either request tax transcripts online from IRS or bring your tax returns for the past 2-3 years.
Is it only two to three years?
I can not get all my taxes return for the last five years transcripts only till 2016.
What should I do?
Thanks.

How and where do you guys get your taxes documentations for the interview?

They can ask anything, for example if u r married but u didn’t submit ur marriage certificate or child birth certificate or combine Tax filling, or combine apartment lease agreement.... even if u didn’t submit u can still upload them online by going to ur USCIS Account....but if u submit all these things already u need not to worry ......u should prepare for other general questions like what does American constitution says....u should be well prepared for these questions....There are lot of information available on YouTube regarding interview preparation... try to prepare atleast 50-100 different type of question.
I did not send anything yet. I thought I will give it to them at the interview (Taxes and divorce, etc)
