Me too... probably thats what triggered this i751 move

my theory is, the local office probably requested the i751 file to prepare or schedule the interview for the N400, but since most of us didn't do an interview for the i751 in the first place, due to covid or whatever, their computer system probably require them to enter something to make that happen, which triggered an automatic i751 notification too.

Well... I called USCIS and talked to an agent who sent a message to the office to let them know that process is already done, got a service number and will get a call or email about it!!!

Let us know what they say, I got the exact same notice today in the mail, very strange ! Do you have a citizenship application pending ?

My I-751 was approved back in March 2021

a few days ago, I had notification that my new card has been ordered and now mailed to me, however, today (March 19, 2021), I received a letter (dated March 19, 2021 🤷‍♂️

not sure I understand it, since I was the spouse when I applied as a conditional permanent resident, anyone seen this before ?

I think I found the answer, Looks like CR6 is when you were a spouse already when entering the US, CF1 looks like a K1 basically.

Not sure why they would have had me down as a CR6 since I came on a K1, maybe I ticked a wrong box on my initial application.

CF1 Alien whose record of admission is created upon the conclusion of a valid marriage contract after entering as a fiance or fiancee of a U.S. citizen. Conditional.
CF2 Minor stepchild of an alien classified as CF1. Conditional.
    CR1 Spouse of a U.S. citizen. Conditional.
    CR2 Stepchild of a U.S. citizen. Conditional.
    CR6  Spouse of a U.S. citizen. Conditional.

  4. maybe something helpful for someone here, I filed 1 June 2020, NOA on the 15th, extension letter took forever, I actually had to call them since I needed to renew my driving license and my son was about to be born, but managed to renew my driving license with one day to spare 👍

anyway, this morning I woke up to an email that said my new card is being produced. Like many on here, I am sure, no need for physical BIO or interview.

I am not asking about bone-fide marriage  evidence , I am asking about the paper work evidence , for example EAD under (c9) they require mariage certificat and the AOS they also require mariage certificate , should I send 2 mariage certificate ? even though I mailed everything in the same package

I didn't apply for AP, but looking back, I only submitted one copy of marriage/birth certificate with the whole package (AOS + EAD) and we didn't have any issues.

    Hi Troika,

Good luck on your interview.  What's your PD?

PD for AOS ? ... just looked at it and it doesn't show anything, just has received date of January 30, 2018. The lady said she sees no reason not to approve, however, I am yet to receive confirmation of that. We just had a chat about the application form, she asked for any joint liabilities/assets we might have, made a few notes on them and put them in my file and that was it. didn't look at our birth certificates, marriage certificate or anything else.

  7. They ask for all this stuff, but I just came back from my interview and they didn't ask for anything, but some joint assets. The lady understood that since I am not working yet, I can't be on everything, but we had joint bank, credit card, health insurance and car insurance. That is all she took, didn't even look at anything else we took with us.

Not sure if it is just up to the interviewer or not ... ?

I woke to this morning with my apps notification that my case AOS I 485 is ready to be scheduled for Interview but when I checked with this website  https://my.uscis.gov/account/applicant..

it say we received your case and nothing more including my EAD too but when I checked withhttps://egov.uscis.gov/casestatus/landing.do

It say my case is ready to be scheduled for interview but my EAD it says the number does not exist and that is what have been getting all these while.

just wait for the letters in the mail. i wouldn't care too much about the online tracker. I have been here 7 months now, happily married and AOS interview in a few weeks. My I-129F still says, "Case Received" 463 days ago :jest:

  9. Hi All... fellow Feb filer here.

Just got an email that my EAD is in the mail or being processed or something, but I have my AOS interview in about 3 weeks from now anyway. Is the EAD slow or is the AOS interview quick ? Anyone recently done the interview, do we take all the stuff we already submitted again (it does say, unless already submitted), so I am not planning to, but they are also known for loosing stuff

Awesome, congrats on being there! I bet that feels good, even if the never-ending admin is still ongoing!

Ah that's good, I didn't think you'd be allowed those things until you had EAD

Thanks a lot! Good luck with yours too :)

Thanks, only thing I am waiting to apply for after EAD is Driving license. I just drive on my UK one for now (the little that I do drive).

    Hi Folks,

I'm just waiting for my NOA 2 (fingers crossed for this month), and I'm wondering once I get to the states, get married and applied for adjustment of status. How long will it take before I get my EAD (employment authorization document)?

So basically, I'm wondering how many months from entering the US can I expect to not be allowed to work, if we marry as soon as I enter?

Thanks in advance for any help from you wonderful people.

    Ludo

I have been in the US for about a month now, getting married in about 3 weeks, then going to file for AOS immediately, including EAD/AP. This month alone felt a lot longer that it was suppose to :)

Current processing times looks to be just an average 100days: http://www.visajourney.com/timeline/eadstats.php

At least I have my SSN, Bank account, Secured credit card and I was surprised Amex approved me for unsecured credit card today, but only $1000 limit. At least something to get credit rating going before I can actually work. Makes a big difference when you actually have some stuff of your own, feels like you can get stuff done.

Good luck with your journey !

How will I know when it's there?

    Thanks!

I got the following email from them to tell you when it's ready:

"The U.S. Department of State Consulate located in London has released document related to your Visa application to our courier DX Group. I think this is true, however it is only valid for the 90 days of the K1.

After that you have an expired license. And you cannot get another one until EAD, it seems. Which is around 3 months atm! I can't go 3 months not being able to drive

    Thanks for the link!

I feel you, I too, can't think what I will do with myself without being able to drive while waiting for EAD.

The thing is, what are we, residents ? What defines a resident ? Somewhere I read, only when you take up education/work, you become resident, which I think we won't do until we have our EAD anyway, so can't we drive on our UK licenses for up to a year as a "visitor" ?
