They called me yesterday to tell me they're sending my passport and visa today by mail, she told me I should get it tomorrow and from the mail I got from ups, that should be the case !

Yay I'm happy for both of you guys!! you should receive the tracking information soon. Ours was delivered the day after we received the tracking information!!!

Hi Andy Jin, I also had my interview at the Paris embassy on the July 5th, and I was approved too 
The status of my case on the CEAC website was still in "Ready" until today, it changed for "Administrative processing". There was an update before on the July 11th, but they changed the status only today. 
I guess that the "administrative processing" thing is just a normal step they do before sending the Visa, like the last checks, printing the Visa.. So don't worry, it just means that they are working on our visa and we will get it soon !

I had my interview today in London, and I'm very excited to report that I am APPROVED! This has been the longest 6 months of my life, but I'm so relived that it's almost over. Just the (hopefully) short wait for my passport to come back, and then I'll be on my way home to my fiancée for good.
 
Thanks to everyone on VJ - especially you guys in this January filers page - for keeping my sane and showing lots of support throughout this. I wish everyone else lots of luck for the rest of their journey!

After 191 days of waiting (we are December filers), we are finally approved!  While it seems that I am behind most of you, at least it is our turn! 

For the DS-160, you have to put the informations of the beneficiary, so if you are the French fiancé, yes it's your informations that you have to fill !
The DS-160 is an online form, you will find it on the CEAC website. It's a little bit long to fill it but you can save the form online and to continue later if you want. And since it's an online form, it doesn't need to be approved by the U.S of the embassy.
 
When you will be done with it, you will be able to choose to print the confirmation page or to ask to receive it by email. Keep this confirmation page because you are going to need it for the interview
