Called the NVC today because I had a gut feeling. Waited like 30 minutes on line 7 to be told I need to call line 5 (that was new to me). No wait for line 5 though. My case was received today, no case number yet. Hopefully it'll be assigned when I call Monday! (7/18 NOA2 date for those wondering)

Maybe it's based on the country? Or they just don't want to make it standard so we're always guessing lol.

I called the immigrant line, since the K1 falls under the immigrant visa for embassy stuff as well.

The worst they tell me is "we don't have a case number for you yet" lol. And I had heard somewhere it was line 7, so that's just what I went with. I listened to what 5 was, and to be completely honest, I still have no idea what those words mean.

I bought my wedding dress today. It still feels really early for me, but it can take almost 2 months to make (custom sizing woo) and I wanted there to be enough wiggle room if our plan of a Mid-October wedding works out. It still feels a little weird that, if everything goes right, we'll be married by the end of the year.

I'm hoping Nick can get here around the end of September, but who knows with NVC and Embassy processing. As long as he's here by Christmas I'll be happy.

My mailman must have thought I was crazy, because I basically was waiting for him to finish sorting mail and as soon as he closed my thing, I opened it right back up. But I'm happy to say, the letter was an approval!!

Every morning when I check informed delivery I brace myself for disappointment. But not this morning! Top of the email was a picture of a letter from USCIS! I almost can't wait until 3. 

My mailman must have thought I was crazy, because I basically was waiting for him to finish sorting mail and as soon as he closed my thing, I opened it right back up. But I'm happy to say, the letter was an approval!!

Yeah, there was no update there. I hope everyone gets their NOA2 soon, I know how frustrating it is. I started crying once I opened the letter, just because of all of the emotions.
