Got the approval letter today! Our case was officially approved 5/20/2021. I'm honestly truly surprised that it went this quickly, and I'm sending good vibes to everyone here!

I originally sent in our package on 11-11-2020, but we were rejected for "incorrect edition" and re-filed right after receiving the rejection letter, on 12-26-2020. The last update we had was the biometrics appointment being waived on 3-8-2021.

Got an update on the case status today, it's been changed to New Card Is Being Produced. Is this just a new card for the 18 month extension thing or does this mean we've been approved? I'm a little confused lol.

Anecdotally, I didn't send all of the pages either and I didn't get an RFE. But it might just depend on who ends up reviewing your case.

Hey guys! It's been a while since I've been on VJ. Busy making sure I have all of my stuff together and getting married lol. We got married on October 21st (over a month ago ) but we had to wait almost a month for our certified marriage certificate copies, and for paperwork from my parents (my dad is my joint sponsor). I'm sending out our AOS package bright and early tomorrow morning, but with processing times I might end up straddling the line of a November / December filer. I'm just very glad the paperwork is going out and is going to be out of my hands. I've been paranoid about losing a tax transcript or a signature page for almost 2 months now lol.

I can also confirm that it goes pretty quick once it goes from the NVC to Sydney. See: our timeline. It went very quick for us and luckily we had everything in order.
