On Feb 8, our status changed to "case ready to be scheduled for interview" and an hour ago, it changed to "Interview is Scheduled". Our interview is scheduled next month but we still have to wait for the notice via mail. I'm surprised that it's this fast but I'm not complaining. Hopefully everything goes well during the interview.

Hmm...does it say "MA" In your BC and passport? If yes, then I would think it should also say that on the MC. You can always have it ammended i think. Officers are very picky about those things especially if you are going to use the MC as proof for other applications like bank, ssa, dmv, etc (aside from the uscis applications). They will always ask for at least 2 sets of id.

This is a weird situation. First you dont know what the marriage certificate will state as your name but it probably will say "Maria" since thats how they entered it. Also no one here can tell you whether USCIS will accept it unless you try- but Im going to assume based on what I know they will reject the marriage certificate as it does not state your legal name (and you have no name change documentation showing you changed from Ma to Maria) Youll probably get a generic RFE asking for YOUR marriage certificate because they are going to look at it as someone named Maria married your spouse and not you.
 
Personally I feel this was ignorance on the clerks part- they were trying to 'Americanize you' and they can not do that. They have no authority to change your legal name to something more western sounding/spelling. You should go back down to their office and request a supervisor if needed and see if they can edit their current paperwork to reflect your legal name. If they can not then you  have to see about getting married again under your legal name and depending when or if you need to do the ceremony again you may not meet the criteria of being married in the first 90 days so you would need to file the 130. 

Interview? You're still on the I-129F stage.
 
The adjudication of your I-129F could be in as little as 2 days or it could take 60+ days. They are typically taking around 1-2 weeks right now. If it goes over 60 days after receipt without an update, you can submit a case inquiry.
 
Once your I-129F is approved, it will be sent to the NVC and then the embassy. This process typically takes a little under a month (but some have had it take much longer). Once the embassy has it, it's really dependent on the specific embassy and their processes/backlog. The average for Bogota is currently about 1.5 months from receipt to interview. So best case is roughly 2 months from now, but it'll probably be around 3-3.5 months (Assumption: 2 weeks for RFE response, 2 weeks to get to NVC, 1 week at NVC, 1 week to get to the embassy, and 1.5 months to interview).

I am not sure the scans are helpful anymore, since the web site isnt getting updated.

Thank you mjvc my rfe was for intent to marry and proof of meetings him  the only think was that I met him after I send the petition as it is arranged engagement by my parents. But I send everything as a reply to the rfe along with passport copies and tickets copies. Hopefully the can send my Noa2 next week have high hopes any body with similar issues also we have a age difference of few years. 

Yes I was 😄. Some who went around 5am, finished theirs, on the same day as well. It depends on the volume of people. 😃😃😃

Okay, fellow December filers. Since it looks like nobody is updating the December scans now (for good reasons -- fiance time is most important!), I've decided I will take it over for a while. @geowrian has been amazing enough to send me his awesome scanning method and show me how to use it, so thank you SO MUCH!
 
It took me a while to figure it out, scan, and extract and analyze the data, so this scan is from approximately 1600 this afternoon. Since at that time tonight's data had (obviously) not been available yet, it is actually data for last week. Here's that information, as well as a breakdown what specific actions were taken on each day of that past week.

Here's my medical experience. I went to SLEC around 3am, I got the queue no.1 😀 . I finished around 9am. I was asked if I wanna get the result the same day, I said "Yes". The staff told me to come back around 1pm. I had my vaccination. I got the result around 3pm.
 
 

They want more evidence of you meeting your fiance. Did you provide a copy of your passport stamps? That usually helps, also photos and a statement saying when you met. 
You wait for NVC to receive your case. Then you schedule your interview and do your medical.

We also got an RFE notice last 26 April and we have yet to receive it in the mail, thus, we have no idea what the RFE is about so far. There could be many reasons but we also met in OkCupid so it could also be that. We'll see.

I know right??  hahahahahahahaha I mean no comparison!! hahahaha 

I can totally relate to that. I'm Filipina and I agree, Filipinos love taking photos. And serious photos is really not my kind of thing because of the "mugshot look" and I think I really look ugly when I'm not smiling, hahaha! But well, no choice for passport photos.

NOA 2 today! Finally! 142 days from case received and 12 days from them receiving our RFE reply.
 
I'm so relieved. Now just to wait for case number from NVC so i can move on to booking my medical. Closest certified dr is a plane trip away and would be nice to be able to save a little on flights for at least one of the trips going to have to make!

True. I felt the same. At the same time worried. Still waiting for that letter though. Been 5 days since they said they mailed it. 😞

I guess I can do just one more for old time's sake. But I don't have or use the same format of a script, so I'll try to keep the results simple and they may not exactly match her numbers at face value.
