It would be a waste of money to file for the B1/B2 visa because she will get declined. B1/B2 visas you have to prove that you have strong ties to your country which would show that she has intent to return back home. That would be hard to prove with a k1 visa in the system when the k1 visa's purpose is to allow her to marry you in the US with the intention to stay.

Unfortunately, it's a wait game. If you can, try to go see her while you wait but if not, build up some patience. It may seem like it will be a long process but truthfully it's not. Try saving up as much money as you can and she should start doing the same because this journey while rewarding, will be very expensive. Help her finalize and prepare to come live here in the US because it WILL be different. I talk to my fiance about this all the time and even suggested that he talk to his friends that have migrated here so that they can explain what he needs to prepare.

I'm going to send my packet off in 1-2 weeks. But I'm going to see my fiance next week and MAYBE one more visit before I go back to be with him on his interview but either way, I will be standing side by side with him at the interview.

    Good luck on your journey!!!

Relationship evidence is not needed with the I-129F petition. You just need evidence that you met at least once within the past 2 years. Evidence of an ongoing relationship is needed for the interview. You can still provide it early ("front loadiing the petition"), but unless they are interviewing at a very high fraud embassy, it isn't needed.

Meeting the family is definitely a positive, but is not required.

What embassy will the interview be at?

You should be fine. Frontloading won't needed, but you can still do it if you want (they will forward the entire packet to the embassy either way). Just be sure to bring more updated evidence at the interview.

    Good luck!

The basic requirements for the K1 visa is proof of meeting once in 2 years and proof of ongoing relationship. However, depending on the country your fiance is from, if it's a high risk fraud country, then front-loading your petition would be wise. If you have pictures of you with her daughter that's definitely a plus. I would also recommend that if you are plannning to visit your fiance while waiting on the next steps during the process, to take more pictures with family and friends because your fiance can bring additional proof of an ongoing relationship with her at the interview.

Each embassy is different as to what they specifically want to see.
It is suggested to supply all the materials listed in the guides; but as stated if you're income say is 100k a year, and you have pay stubs and W2's and such proving that, then a bank account statement shouldn't be needed; but again depends on the embassy.
My partner just did his interview, i supplied him with all documents(except the bank statements as I make more than enough). He never even was asked for any financial documents and never turned any in to the embassy. He was approved without even having to show financial support information.
It just depends again; but always better to be prepared incase.

Most definitely which is why I'm thinking of getting another set of the same pictures I'm putting in the packet even though he has every picture like I do. But this way he knows which ones I sent.
