Did biometrics yesterday. Today status got updated to Fingerprint Review Was Completed.

I called them. They repeated me that I can't do any walk-in, and because it's not an emergency (like needing a stamp in your passport), I can only reschedule 

I guess all LIN has biometric appointment on July 24 😂

What a coincidence, we received our first letter from USCIS since our case was filled in November. Our biometrics is on 24th July too

About time, right?! I have informed delivery so I always check my mailbox online everyday and was shocked when I saw that letter yesterday. And my status on USCIS is still the same, they didn't send text or anything as well, so watch your mailbox, guys, cause the gap between the letter and the appointment is less than two weeks, at least for me.

A letter is to be delivered to my mailbox today as well I’m thinking it’s the same thing.  Maybe they speeding up which would be good

Never received an extension letter nor notice of receipt, despite having filed G-1145.

Damn that's fast. You're so lucky. I'm happy for you but also sad for me at the same time lol. 

I think so too. And this time it’s on the other (myaccount.uscis.dhs.gov) site not just on the case status site. So I’m really starting to believe this is for real but still a little bit in doubt for I haven’t seen anyone got approved in just 5 months. I haven’t even received any biometrics letter yet. Lol

They received it on Oct. 19, 2018. I’m really hoping that it’s true and not some system glitch or some training that they had been doing in the system. I’ll surely update soon as there’s something. 

Just checked the processing times and it decreased for all of the service centers.
 
Specifically at LIN from 18-23 months, it went down to 15.5-23 months.

iIreceived my first NOA on Dec 19. 
and biometrics waiver was last week.

I believe it was after 2 to 3 weeks of NOA. But, we asked them about biometrics while we were talking about NOA with Tier 2. Not sure if that played a role or not.

I have used this multiple times to call USCIS. I still havent got my NOA, so this has been really helpful to me to get to live person without having to go through so many options.

That's the right number. It does take a long time to finally reach them, we had to wait an hour few times. We got lucky once and only waited for 10 mins. Here's what I found online, in case you wanna try. I've never tried it though.
 
Get to a live person fastest: Press 1 for English, then 1, then 2, then 2. After the final 2, press # each time it prompts you to enter a number. You will need to do this three time.

Just checked informed delivery app, I got something from USCiS texas service center! Hopefully its extension letter!

I am happy to say as of January 29th 2019 I have FINALLY!!! received my NOA YAY!!!
 
weird thing is they provided me 2 NOA's and both have same info .
 
oh well I guess I will put 1 for safe keeping and the other for my travels which I am happy about cause I can finally see my family and meet my lil nephew for the first time.
 
I hope everyone who sent info to the Texas office all got there letters by now.
