wow, congs to everyone that got approved, may the road ahead be fast and smooth. Thank u Geowrian, am so glad u are in Dec with me, so u are going nowhere anytime soon hahaha, though I really also wish u a fast approval dont get me wrong. Now about Politics, pleaseeeeeeeee, i beg we just come here and encourage each other as we have done so far. give us political news that is directly and proved to be connected to our K-1, am so tired of politics on every forum. and also dont forget not everyone here shares the same political views, so if we bring politics here that is not directly related to our K-1 and that can shade some light to whatever is going on at CSC, we are gonna spoil this wonderful forum.

we got approved at the same day! it is really nice that we're getting more movement. but i do hope that they work on the remaining cases from earlier dates before moving forward because it would be kind of unfair to those who've waited for so long.

Yes it is. All 79 approvals were in the first 25% of the scan. I started about 15 minutes earlier than "normal"....assuming they updated at their normal times. I was grossly mistaken. I think I'll aim closer to 10:30 PM EST moving forward. That said, I do check the previous date's numbers, in which case tomorrow's scan would have caught it. But who wants to wait that long?

Special IT skills? Nah. But I do have are a very particular set of skills. Skills I have acquired over a very long career. Skills that make me a nightmare for people like you... (I hate that movie, but love these lines!)  But seriously, it's just experience...a college CS student could do this if they just had some guidance on where to look.

I've been coding since middle school, actually. I teach computer science classes at the local university where I graduated (mobile app development, cryptography, etc.), which helps me keep up to date as well. My entire career since I turned 21 has been in IT, and now I lead several dev teams as a solutions architect for for a consulting company...mostly focused on large government projects (USPS, PENNDOT (PA's Dept. of Transporation), DHS, etc.).
 
But anyway, it's just about being self-motivated. Sure, schooling helped, but the vast majority of my architecture and dev. skills grew just from practicing building stuff. Take a passion and run with it.

You "withdraw" not "close" the petition, and no you do not need to wait for confirmation in order to file a new petition. A couple sentences explaining why previous petitions didn't result in a lasting relationship followed by a sentence asking that IMBRA related filing limitations be waived added to a petition cover letter is all that is needed when and if you are ready to file a new petition.
Multiple petitions filed close together can count against you at the interview stage, as your relationships could appear more desperate than genuine.
