I had my interview yesterday and a decision cannot be made. Today they sent me a request for initial evidence asking for 2019 taxes. I am afraid if I send only the tax they would deny even though that’s the only thing they asked for. Any advice? 

Interview September 29th. New Orleans. 

I’ve just submitted my application online, with a pending i-751. Can anyone add me to the chart? 12/20/2019.

My anniversary is March 17, 2020. Today I become eligible to apply for citizenship. I have everything ready, all I need to do is review and submit. However, some people told me that I should wait two more extra days at least because they saw some cases where USCIS miscalculated the eligible date and denied the application. Any advice on this matter?

My husband is eligible to apply on Wednesday (18th) so we’ve been anxiously watching to see if the new fees go into effect before than. I would be so happy if they don’t increase until after we can apply. 

I’ll be eligible on Dec. 18th as well, we have the same date.

I have one more question; I am applying on the basis of being married to a US citizen for 3 years, but most of the questions ask for a 5-year history; employment, addresses, trips taken outside the US, etc- should I provide only the history of the 3 years I have lived in the US or the whole 5 years including the 2 years that I wasn't here?

My window for citizenship opens Dec 18. Can I start the application online now and save it then submit it on the 18th?

Thank you. I also have another question. So, my online account has been locked since 2017; both account.uscis.gov and my My USCIS (I am not sure if they are the same account, though). I’ve been trying to reset the password but it did not work. It said that I needed to submit a form online, which I did, but no answer. So I called USCIS on Friday and the girl that answered told me that I needed to call back on Monday and ask for Technical Support because it can be unlocked only via the phone. So I called Monday and the other girl that answered the phone told me that they don’t reset passwords via the phone and I needed to email the technical support. They confused me. Any help on how to reset the online account because I’ll need it next week to apply for citizenship online? I don’t want to create a new account because I used my main mail on that account which I have on my application. 

My window opens on December 18, so I am going to apply even though i-751 is still pending.

January 2019 filer, nothing yet. By the way, what center is MSC?

No updates on my case yet. I applied January 17th, had biometrics in February, then it changed in April to “Case is ready to be scheduled for an interview”, and never updated again. My citizenship window will open December 18.

I think you are referring to the USCIS Phoenix Lockbox. This is just the filing location, not the Service Center.

 

The first 3 characters of your receipt # tells you the USCIS service center or office that received & is processing your case:

SRC - Texas Service Center (TSC)
LIN - Nebraska Service Center (NSC)
WAC - California Service Center (CSC)
EAC - Vermont Service Center (VSC)
MSC - Missouri Service Center (MSC), now known as National Benefits Center (NBC)

YSC - Potomac Service Center

IOE - ELIS (e-Filing)

 

For example, my receipt # starts with LIN, so my case is at the Nebraska Service Center

It’s Msc. So Missouri.

We filed on January 10th, got a confirmation text and the money withdrawn around January 17th and got a Biometrics notice for this Thursday but still no NOA1 Receipt letter. The receipt number sent both by text and on the biometrics notice are not recognized online either and my wife's Green Card expires this Saturday. Definitely going to call on Tuesday to see what's up. Anyone know if this is normal?

I did my biometrics on February the 14th. They haven’t texted me the notice either. 

I filed on January the 17th, received a date for biometrics but they did not send the NOA1.

My interview is on March 2nd, I am getting more excited and worried.

Please, can you check for me whether it is required for Tunisia or not? I couldn't find the link. 

I called the doctor yesterday and I was able to book my medical for today. I went in the morning and got it done, and they said they'd call me in three days to pick up the results.

The funny thing is that when I called the physician they told me they worked only one hour per day; from 7-8 a.m. So I had to go very early in the morning; got a check up and vaccinations. Then I went to the blood laboratory for blood and urine test, and right after to the radiology for a chest x-ray. I went to three doctors; but fortunately they were in the same street.

My interview date is March 2nd at US Embassy Tunis.

Finally got an interview date on March 2nd.
