My code is MSC, which comes up as National Benefits Center and isn't an option in the list so I just clicked all centers and it said 23-53months

Our NOA finally arrived, the mailman (who I had asked if there was anything I could do to make sure it was delivered because USCIS keeps saying they did send it), very proudly walked it to the front door with a big grin on his face!

Got a call from my congressman's office yesterday. She is going to put in an enquiry for me so hopefully things will move along. She did say to be sure to have a timeline written down to send in so that the person assigned to it could follow the trail. She also said because of COVID everything is behind however, with the ummmm..... current administration immigration has been put on the backburner and not given much importance.
She was very surprised when I told her most of us who applied in April still have not received the NOA but they keep messaging us saying it has been sent.

So hopefully this is a step forward

update: suddenly my online requested was allocated, reviewed and answered.... fancy that 2nd time and a very annoyed phone call and possible influence from the governor seems to have done the trick. Here is the reply

Recently, you notified us that you did not receive your receipt notice.  As a courtesy, we have requested that a duplicate receipt notice be mailed to you.  You should receive the duplicate receipt notice within 30 days from the date of this notice.

Our records indicate that we are awaiting your appearance for biometric processing. Your case is currently in suspense or on hold until we receive your biometrics.  Your application information has been entered into the system which schedules applicants for biometrics at their local ASC. Once you have been scheduled, you will receive an ASC Appointment Notice containing the date, time and location of your appointment.  You must take the ASC Appointment Notice and photo ID to your appointment.

(I do love how they say, "as a courtesy" like we did something wrong. Also seem to imply that we are holding up the biometrics not them).... urgghhhh well at least it is a step forward

Yes it has been 30days. My first request was May 22nd and my deadline for a reply was today, so it let me put in a 2nd request. Before that date you can't do another request, I tried too.

Out of curiosity can we see a show of hands - if you have received your NOA when would your GC expire, and for those who don't have NOA when does your GC expire:

    Received April 22nd
    No NOA yet
    GC expires July 17th

Mine appears on my case status account. It just states fingerprints have been applied to your case. If you don’t have it then maybe they haven’t done that yet. 5/14 they applied that to my case and I got a NOA a few days later.

OK great thats good to hear.

UPDATE: the DMV just called me back, they said they went up as high as they could to find out information concerning options if USCIS does not provide the NOA or stamp in time and unfortunately those are our only options, however late last night the governer extended the forgiveness date for DL to October 1st (this is for Oregon). So that gives us almost 2 mths grace period after his license expires, hopefully by then we have the NOA or an appointment for the stamp.

Ok! Yea it hasn't show up anything yet. But for what it worth, the USCIS customer service said - its legal to continue stay after the GC expired, because you will have your appointment scheduled. Then she also said print out the case status online and carry with.

Something to give you a giggle and forget stress for a little while: We have MSC which I believe is Missouri.... here is a funny ironic note, my husband and I met while both working for the Italian Cruise Company MSC.....we always see MSC cargo containers when we travel like they are following us and now its the letter code for our I-751....

well excuse me..... did I just get an attitude from Mr. Rick at customer service.... he did not have his coffee this morning apparently.....
But he did give me some information: He said to check the USCIS.gov website on June 4th to see if your local office is open because some have been damaged by the recent riots and may not be open on the 4th as planned. He also said that they are only making emergency appointments today and tomorrow (such as your employer wanting the ADIT stamp or proof ASAP), for everything else it can wait till the 4th or whenever the local office opens. Finally he said even to make an appointment the applicant has to be near the phone to answer questions (I am the wife and even though he has give permission several times, he has to be standing next to me each time).

Oh what joy, hope you are

Just sent the email to the lockbox and got an automated reply that it was received. I guess that is better than the first email where I got no reply at all.

Daneandkathy got a reaction from MDS in Visiting Visa While IR1-CR1 Is Pending
    Hey all
I am so happy i found this thread as it was the exact question I wanted ask. I will try give the rundown

    I am the USC
Husband is Macedonian (Not a VW country and apparently known for people who overstay regularly)
We were married here Nov 10 '16
I-130 was accepted on Dec 16th.
    We live together in Macedonia
He has been to the US before on work visas working for cruise ships (his last visa ran out last august)
He is a chef and I teach ESL online

We are hoping to make a trip back to Oregon in September so he can meet my parents, possibly have a small garden wedding (as we have not had one yet), and since my dad needs to make a trip we can stay with my mom (she has MS). We are thinking about 1 month.

Ties to Maceodnia: We just bought health insurance here for a year, he is the main chef at a restaurant, we have a house we are in the process of building, we own a car, we live in his Mom's house and she can vouch for that (she had to do that for me to get a resident card), I have a resident card allowing me to live here for 1yr., we will have return tickets.

What do you think our chances will be, any suggestions, extra information we need etc....

    Thanks so much
    Dane and Kathy
