Yes SLEC will call at the end of the 60 days. Most get excited and call SLEC though...

Culture results is just that.. results. Everything else is rumors and wives tales.
You have a little one? Have you completed CRBA and the Filipino recognition process?

USEM is not required to accept co-sponsors with the K-1 visa, but they are known to accept co-sponsors who are close family members (parents, siblings). With that said, over the past couple years USEM has been sporadic at even asking for support evidence with the K-1 visa ... so there is a chance of not even being asked... still better to be prepared. (once in the states USCIS accepts any qualified co-sponsor.)
If you do not have a close family member to use as co-sponsor the next option is the ir/cr immigrant visa (spouse) as USEM is required to accept any qualified co-sponsor. This process takes longer and is more expensive when there are children as you have to file a petition for each person.

I knew yours was K-1 (even though your profile is showing HB-1 may want to adjust that to K-1 ) as you kept talking about your fiancee.
As for TB and the SPUTUM culture testing; SLEC is required to follow a defined protocol from CDC. TB is a contagious disease, a person can get it from anyone. For now your fiancee should try to relax, most that come through here doing SPUTUM are found negative.

The NOA from USCIS does show a 4 month validity, but the embassy auto extends the petition validity, no matter, up to a year. This is not a concern, you will not have to start over. Relax on this.
Just a hiccup to over come.. all will be fine.

    1) If the SPUTUM culture is negative at the end of 3 days it will then be monitored for a total of 60 days, if at 3 days (or 60 days) the culture is positive she will be scheduled for DOT which takes 6 months ... this is a good thing as it will cure her TB (TB kills). if negative at the end of 60 days SLEC will complete the vaccinations and give your fiancee her medical file for delivery to USEM.
    2) Your petition will stay valid for a year, the embassy will automatically extend the validity. Do stress on this, all will be fine.
    3) You can cancel your current interview day by phone or online at your dashboard at USTRAVELDOCS. Don't schedule another interview date until you have cleared the SPUTUM hurdle.

I am always confused on that, last year the USA send foreign aid to the Philippines to the tune of $175 MILLION DOLLARS (not pesos), PLUS $50 MILLION DOLLARS in military financing. In 2016 the military aid was increased to $79 MILLION !!
And this does not count the 3.4 MILLION Filipino-Americans that send money back to the Philippines.
Ya the USA is the ROOT OF ALL EVIL in the Philippines... and there is no corruption in the Philippines (wonder where that $175 MILLION gets spent?)
And yes the Osprey are very cool aircraft, we were living in Tucson when they had the crash ... glad they finally got the bugs out of 'em

Relax, nothing is changing. Duterte can only do so much without the "blessing" of the senate. (you do know that couples do this process for IRAN?)
    File your petition ... !!

What USCIS did or didn't do has NO bearing on what USEM does. USCIS grands the "right" to apply for a visa, everything they did was for reaching that decision. USEM does their own process for approving your visa application.
As stated many times before, how one person's visa is processed has NO bearing on how your visa will be processed.
Go visit with your family, relax... enjoy the day. Stop stressing..

Get CFO done, take the certificate (along with other listed requirements) to DFA and get a new passport . Of course pay for an expedite

CENOMAR (you apply for the CENOMAR, PSA will issue the CEMAR being you are married), embassy wants this needs to be less than 6 months old
NBI - For TRAVEL ABROAD or U.S. VISA ... the green version. Again less than 6 months old.
Passport. DFA takes the old passport when processing the passport renewal, BUT returns both the old and new passport upon completion. May be an issue not having it. Time will tell.
Do follow the embassy instructions letter.

No problem adopting your nieces, what you are doing is not that uncommon in the Philippines.

But the adoption process must be completed BEFORE do the visa process.

(Translation: You're not married yet? And you're in the US already? You might get deported if you aren't married within 90 days of entry... if that happens, your fiance's effort and money in petitioning you would be wasted. I understand that you're homesick because you don't know anyone there, but you can do something so you won't be having such a hard time... you can ask your neighbors or your church if there are any other Filipinos in your area. You can also Skype with your family so you can talk to them. You need to also understand that plane fare to the Philippines is indeed expensive... so you should just speak with your fiance on whether or not you really want to continue your marriage. You can still fix your relationship problems... unless of course he is abusing you, but you already said he isn't doing that.)

Yes mom can register her daughter while she is at her seminar. The registration is done when she goes to get the sticker, bring her daughters passport w/visa, child's birth certificate and complete the registration form, and it would be helpful to have a few pictures of mom and daughter together.

    6. No matter... mother has sole custody.
There are no additional steps required for the K2 child. Mother has sole custody of the child. Burned $150 for nothing. I know of hundreds before you with K2 that are now in the USA..
