Anybody from the Texas Service Center have any movement? All our status says is "As of November 20, 2019, we completed our review of your fingerprints and are working on your Form I-751, Petition to Remove Conditions on Residence, Receipt Number xxx, at our location. We will let you know if we make a decision or need anything from you".
I think the Texas Service Center slow moving, but wanted to see if anyone else has had their interview yet.

Today, my husband I realized we never had the restrictions removed off his SSN. We still have the SS card with the statement he can only work with permission. We just filed for his removal of conditions over the summer. His conditional greencard "expired" last month and we have the 18 month extension letter. If we go to the local SS Office, do you think they will remove his SSN restrictions since he has the 18 month extension letter? We are thinking of going and trying either way, but would like to hear from someone this happened to!

For those at Texas Service Center they said they were reusing my spouse's biometrics, but today got a notice to come on 11/19 for biometrics...at the office over an hour away. We live in Texas, there is a Service Center in our city, but they scheduled him at the support center an hour away.

Did they tell you this when you called? My case was sent to Nebraska from Texas on July 29th. It seems, from the spreadsheet that the majority of cases do not have either an interview or biometrics. It also seems that it takes about 9 months to hear anything. I don't really care at this point, but I am just curious to know if you were informed by phone as well as by mail that you would not require a second biometrics.
No, we called to ask them to put in a request/ticket to find out why no biometrics and they told us to wait 30 days until calling again. I got the notice in the mail today.

For anyone with the Texas Service Center (SRC) we got a notice dated 9/11/2019 they are reusing my husband's previous bio-metrics. So, updated timeline:
7/17: ROC filed
7/22: Received I-797/extension letter dated 7/19/2019
8/27: Called USCIS to request action for bio-metrics appointment
9/18: Received notice from USCIS they are reusing husband's bio-metrics dated 9/11/2019

Has anybody with the Texas Service Center (SRC) gotten a biometrics appointment yet?
-
For those whose cases are with the Texas Service Center (SRC). My husband called today USCIS because we have not received a bio-metrics appointment letter for him. They basically created a ticket number to request the appointment be made/letter sent out and asked my husband to wait another 30 days before calling back if he does not receive a letter in the meantime...
7/17 USCIS received package
7/22 Received NOA dated 7-19
8/27 Called USCIS to request why no Biometrics appointment, ticket created, told to wait another 30 days.

Have any of you gotten biometrics appointment letter from SRC? My husband applied in July. We got the NOA fairly quickly and it was dated 7-19. Haven't heard a thing since then. Someone had posted in another thread SRC is taking a long time to send out Biometrics appointments.

Has anyone else with the Texas Service Center (SRC) gotten anything for biometrics?

Hi everyone, I read again ( slowly) my extension letter and this is that they say exactly in mine about biometrics: We require biometrics for some types of case. If we need biometrics from you, we will send you a SEPARATE appointment notice with a specific date, blablabla. You must wait for that separate appointment and take it ( NOT this receipt notice) to your ASC appointment along with your photo identification.
Service center is in Texas, SRC.
Got NOA on 29th July. No news after that.
I suppose now that the text about biometrics is different for everyone? And depends on the service center?
My husband's NOA was dated 7/19. His case is also with SRC and we haven't gotten anything for biometrics yet. I had stopped our mail for a bit and went to the post office and nothing as of today 8/15. I am thinking of once we hit 30 days to have him call USCIS customer service.

Could any of you who filed at the beginning of July tell me if you received your bio-metric letter? And if you did, how long was given to get to your appointment? I have to go away at the beginning of September for a few weeks. I filed and received my I797 on July 24th. Am trying to figure out if I will receive the letter before I leave or if the person who is going to watch for the letter in my mail will receive it while I am away.
We filed around the same time as you. My husband's case is with the Texas Service Center. We got his extension letter on the 22nd. We have not received a bio-metrics letter, and I am not sure if there is a way to get a timeline for one or not. Not sure if you can call immigration customer service and see if they can look to see if a letter has posted or not for bio-metrics?

7/19/19 - Mailed to Phoenix Lock-box
7/22/19 - Delivered at Phoenix and Signed for by "T WRGHT"
7/26/19 - Check Cashed
We have not received any text or email notifications. Trying not to worry, but others have seemed to receive a text or email before the check was cashed.
I think everyone gets different results and it depends on which center it's sent to and who handles it! My husband I forgot the text notification form. Ours went like this:
7/17 delivered and signed at Dallas PO Box
7/22 Got NOA with 18 month extension in mail dated 7/19
7/23 Check cashed
Cannot check our status online. Says it does not recognize receipt number when we check case status online. My husband's case is with the Texas Service Center. He may have to call for updates and find out why we can't check case status online...

Anybody who got their NOA still unable to look up case status online?
-
I know legally you are suppose to carry the green card, but my husband never did. He just carries his driver's license and leaves the green card at home. He was too scared of losing it, and I am sure not letting him carry a letter around since he has misplaced stuff before. He would only carry them if he really absolutely needed them like for starting a new job or international travel.
Outside of that, are people who got the NOA not able to even see their case online? I just get that the receipt number is not recognized. I am guessing it will be months before we here about bio-metrics since our case is with with the Texas Service Center.
-
We got the NOA with the 18 month extension. Here is my timeline for the Texas Service Center:
7/17 Package signed for at USCIS Dallas PO Box
7/22 Recieved NOA with 18 Month Extension. It was dated the 19th.
The check has not cleared yet surprisingly, but I am guessing it will tomorrow. I tried entering the receipt number on the check the status and it said it did not recognize the receipt number? Not sure what that is about. Maybe they system needs to update.
Current processing times for this center are currently estimated 15-19 months.

For those that received the 18-month extension letter, was it 18 months from date of filing or is it 18 months extension from the green card expiration?
-
Just curious, but how many days are people seeing for payment via check to go through? Our package was picked up from the Dallas PO Box on Wednesday on 7-17. Check not cashed yet. Husband and I were neglectful and forgot to send in the form to get text updates 😕 .
-
Glad I found this now! My husband I sent in his petition and it was confirmed pickup form the Dallas PO Box on 7-17-19. Heard the processing times are much longer now than they were years ago?

Hi All!
My husband I just put in his application for I-751 with all our marriage evidence and sent to it to the Dallas Lockbox. It was confirmed someone signed and picked up package on Wednesday 7/17/19. I know it's early in the process, but I am wondering what exactly we are looking at for a general timeline. We live in Irving, TX and from my understanding the process times are a lot longer than they were couple years ago. He wants to visit his family and things like that, but he's putting it all on hold for now until we get his extension letter.

Meh. They're almost useless, unless there are critical gaps in your evidence that need further explanation.
Click on the arrow below to see a framework I developed for thinking about the types of evidence for ROC.
Wow! This is actually super helpful! I never even thought of my some of the stuff listed which we have.

Thanks, that was what we thought. I was literally going to ask my mom and grandmother for affidavits, which seems pointless since I have cards and photos and such from them to us to show they know the nature of our marriage. Most of my friends live all in other states now or even other countries, so it seems a pain to get any from them. We are gonna stick with all our bills, credit cards, leases, bank accounts, insurances and pets and moving expenses when we relocated for his job.
-
My husband and I are preparing our packet for his removal of conditions for his residency. Do we really need affidavits sworn by two people who have known us since the start of the marriage? My spouse and I do not have a mutual friends, but I have friends and family members who could fill write something attesting the nature of my and my spouse's relationship. We have joint leases, credit cards, utilities, bank accounts, pets and so on as proof. I have cards sent by my family and friends to the two of us as well. Please advise.

We got married in a styrofoam chapel above a Subway restaurant with three people in attendance (none of them were our parents) and I removed my conditions earlier this year. On that front, you'll be fine. It's kind of hard to arrange a massive wedding when you only have 90 days to plan it
I didn't even have that reason to have such a minimalist wedding, we were just lazy and wanted to get the paperwork out of the way.
For removal of conditions, joint finances, joint living quarters (lease/mortgage/deed) and joint everything ever are your key to getting the 10 year card. They can't get enough of the stuff. Where some people trip up is sending only recent evidence. USCIS wants to see stuff spanning your entire marriage, or as far back to your wedding date as possible. Obviously no one rushes out to the bank on the day of their wedding to set up an account, but even a month or two after you get married and onwards from there is great.
Thanks for the tip to include stuff all the way back. I will definitely will make sure I get the joint bank account statements going back to when we opened our first joint account together. I can't really show anything for our car, we have Progressive too, but I can at least show he is on the car insurance for my car. And that the rent is paid from our joint account. I'm really lazy and still have a personal account linked to my other bills (including car insurance) for auto payment, so I just transfer money from our joint account to mine to pay car insurance and my student loans and the car payment as we use the checks I still have from my personal account to pay the car bill. I guess I can highlight on the statements showing the transfers between our joint to my personal and include an explanation.

My husband and I found out Saturday morning his new card is being produced. We were an SRC (Texas Center) case. We thought we were going to be interviewed because we were not interviewed for AOS and it had been transferred to our local office. So, it was a pleasant surprise! I guess whoever looked at our case was convinced with the huge package we sent last year. I am so glad we did not get an RFE, cause I literally have nothing else to give them except I am listed on his car title. Oh, and that we have a new cat. Haha!
