  1. Think about it. No one goes on a "vacation" and then can simply uproot their lives and not come home. Unlike many Filipinos, she was given the privilege of a B-2. She has clear immigrant intent. Don't defraud the United States simply because you are disappointed that you have to wait in the queue like everyone else.
  2. Why have you not filed an I-130 petition for your spouse? That is the most common and straightforward way of getting him an immigrant visa.
  3. You're not being singled out. This is an issue for Pakistani males, for a variety of reasons, such as bad behavior and crimes committed by fellow Pakistanis, and lack of record-keeping in Pakistan. Had he been interviewed in Islamabad, the outcome would be the same.
  4. Yes, if it impacts your income. You will need to show evidence of current income, as per paystubs. You may need a joint sponsor if you time your pregnancy to coincide.
  5. This. The USCIS instructions are the best guide.
  6. The letter of intent can simply be a “to whom it may concern.” Don’t overthink it.
  7. You wrote that it says “refused,” which is the default term for AP.
  8. Sounds like you’re in administrative processing. There is no timeline for that.
  9. Hopefully you realize he cannot work remotely while visiting.
  10. Which is fine, as long as he/she only wants to visit as a tourist. Your GF and her children need immigrant visas if they want to live here.

  12. Semantics, but what Boiler is saying is that it is not a visa.
  13. Don't even think about lying on the petition. Also - just curious, but how is someone who sees fit to love and marry two women at once, okay with immigrating and living separately from BOTH of them forever? That seems incongruent.
  14. Kind of like how crimes committed in other countries still count for US immigration.
  15. Use the search feature to search for VisaJourney timelines for those consulates.
  16. Ah. I don’t think that’s something to worry about actually. Ours were >30 days old when our petition was submitted. People don’t change that much in appearance.
  17. That refers to the passport photos, not ‘relationship’ snapshots. The best evidence, as mentioned, is time spent together in person.
  18. Based on the 10 day gap between submitting and the response, it’s a denial due to lack of compelling evidence, per USCIS. Most expedited are denied. Everyone can come up with reasons to expedite.
  19. Census? The next US census is not until 2030. I’d be wary about filling out forms claiming to be from the census. And the 2020 census was definitely still conducted via paper forms.
