As far as I know, banks require a proof of residence for accounts, and since your husband is not here yet, it only makes sense that they wouldn't allow it.

Hi, This is my first post. Like the rest of you my wife and I are anxiously waiting to hear back for our NOA2. I'm a USC and my wife is from Brazil. Our 18mo daughter is currently with my wife living in Uruguay and my daughter is starting to show signs of autism. She really needs a professional medical evaluation and it's just heart wrenching that I cannot do anything for her. Although my daughter is also a US Citizen (she was born abroad in Montevideo) she really needs her mother. It's really hard to be so far away from the both of them. I know my daughter needs me.
 
My prayers go out to each of you and your families as we endure this waiting game.

Hello everyone! This is my first post here, but reading your posts has kept me sane over the past few months. Thank you all for your updates, they help a lot!
 
I was starting to lose hope that any more approvals would come this year, but it turns out 2017 isn't quite done yet.. NOA2 received today!

I was told that the dates they post are the oldest date of a file that they havent completes for example like if a file from feb is has a rfe and the person hasnt fixed it then they out they are still working in feb although they may working on April files.  They just post oldest file they have in hand.  So don't really pay attention to these dates they can suddenly jump God willing... 

I hope we all get what our hearts desire in the coming month.

Yes! We’ve been in a long distance relationship for too long!!!! I too miss my husband very much...it’s ridiculous on how Nebraska doesn’t even update their cases online. I’m so sick of checking everyday...
 
also so I requested an expedite on November 30 and I haven’t heard from anyone In USCIS...I called them and the person didn’t know the status of the expedite request. This sucks
 
I really miss my husband and I just wish we hear from them soon. I don’t get the hold up in Nebraska. 😔😔😔😔😔
