When I log in to fill out DS-261 Choice of agent, I am the Petition and declare that on the first page. At the end when it asks if anyone helped does that mean did anyone help ME or did anyone Help the Immigrant to fill it out and who signs, me as the Petitioner filling it out , or do I save it and have him go in on his Computer and gin it so it shows HIS IP address as having signed it?

Have any November filers received their NOA2 approval from USCIS and been sent to NVC? How long have you been waiting at NVC for your case number?

After some more careful reading and making a few calls I've figured it out. Like I said this is all new to me.
1. I am in fact not an employee of the corporation so I will list myself as "Owner" which is what it says on my tax returns.
2. The NVC website asks for a "business license" if you are self-employed AND you are below the poverty line. So I don't need this.
3. My personal tax return does have Schedule E in it. The I-864 instructions say this is required if you are self-employed. So I will send in my full returns in addition to transcripts.
Were your docs sufficient?

For the Moscow embassy, I put my business's name, my title (owner), and had no problems. But do check your embassy's requirements.
How do you check and embassy's requirements for self employed? Aren't the requirements the same for the form?

That only goes back 5 years. What about if you need info from 10-20 years ago?

Every time I am calling NVC today to try to see if they have a case number for me yet , I get a recording stating they are busy, to check the website for FAQ and then I get disconnected. Does anyone know why, or how often they do this ?

If these are your only two options then at least rapid Visa offers a refund if you do not get approved.

Just FYI, I just called USCIS on our approved petition.
If anyone runs into same problem when you find an error or need to make a correction to a approved petition, here's what happen to me. I called this morning and was hesitate to provide my information to get a question answered without jeopardizing I129F approved decision. But sometimes with USCIS you need to provide ur receipt number in order to talk to you. So I gave the first lady my receipt number, and asked her the following question. I should probably post this on a different topic but I wanted to share USCIS response if this happens to anyone.
I omitted my fiancée's children on the petition because we both thought it meant extra fees and that they were coming to the USA with my fiancée. Dumb, I know. I should of known this. When I was filling out the petition, I remember asking him to include them but he said no because the mother wont approve bringing them to the USA. So I didn't include them. While filing out DS160, it asked if he had children, I don't want to lie so I'm listing them on that form. The USCIS employee placed me on hold while she checked something for me but the line got disconnected. So I called again, a different woman answered. She was so nice and sweet, very polite and she understood our dilemma. I told her it wasn't our intention to omit the children, we just received misguided information and so I didn't list the children. I said that I was afraid that it would affect their decision for approval, she was so understanding and she assured me that wasn't going to happen. The case was sent to NVC, so at this point I need to contact them and that I didn't need to worry about USCIS about changing their mind. Whew! Now I need to call NVC and have this corrected before it reaches the embassy.
I made the same error. I did not include my husband's children because they are adults in the definition of child according to immigration was under 21. I spoke to an attorney and he told me to Simply write a letter explaining the mistake and what the correction should be and where on the form. Explain why you made the mistake. And then mail the letter certified to NVC. Include your case number of course and your beneficiaries name.

I know i told all of you before that I am a November I-130 , but have been following this thread instead because it is active and filed with you all in a similar boat of waiting for NOA2 and getting closer to your loved ones and marriage.
I am already married and was waiting along with you.
TODAY I RECEIVED AN EMAIL OF APPROVAL FOR MY NOA2 !!
I am hoping this week to see the same announcement from the majority of you ESPECIALLY JIM ??

I also update it in my signature, too.
Can someone explain what the signature is and where to find it ?

He is the USC? If so , he is allowed. It is the beneficiary who is not permitted when they are here in US.
-
There is this....not saying he isn't on the up and up, but you asked for warning signs.

A lawyer told me to send a letter requesting the application be corrected and updated. Include the petition/ case number and all information to be corrected and why.

I have used this gentleman and his company. I have safely sent all of my documents in email. He had returned them translated WITH a Certificate of Certification in email and a hard copy in regular mail. His prices are very reasonable in my opinion. I, too ,was very nervous about sending such sensitive documents, but now I would not hesitate to send him anything. I have used him for a number of our documents.

Please update your timeline. Texas is only the lockbox that your application was mailed to. California is your center with no transfer. I would also remove your marriage date, as you have not married yet. Then see if it updates correctly again.
