Thank you @USC4SPOUSE Yes for anyone who’s drivers license expires and the extension letter, keep calling and try to escalate it to an emergency reason. Obviously if you’re working like me you need a license at all times. Unfortunately it’s tough times to get an appointment.

    We sent it September 23rd.
But as long as I have the extension letter I’m fine. I’m not stressing about this anymore.

    Hello fellas,

A long time since my last post so finally I'll give an update too.

First of all my card was in the Mail the Monday after Thanksgiving. No update online, I checked the USCIS online account there was no Info of Card being produced. So don't worry if nothing happens online maybe you'll just have the card in the mail. USCIS online status updated I January to card was mailed.

Second it's been now a year living here and it was a very fast one. We had our court wedding and moved in our new home, I got my job and a car, we had our wedding party and my family came over and then now we have a baby expecting in march this year. So many changes, so many tough days, stressful days and a lot of amazing days.

I hope you all are doing great too and hopefully you will get your cards soon. If you're having a glass in your hand while reading this... cheers to many more great years and lots of love..

Hi everyone. My husband got his green card without an interview! In early September, we received an RIFE for evidence we have a valid marriage (bank accounts, joint mail, joint taxes and so on). On September 29th we sent off our massive packet to Jacksonville with all of our evidence. And then on October 14th my husband got a letter saying he had been approved and that the card will come shortly. But the card was also in the mail! So happy! Wanted to share.

Is someone out there whose status does not change since you went from Biometrics. It's been 161 Days since any notifications. I am wondering whether should I call USCIS customer service or not.

    Any help?

    I hate this waiting game....

No changes since February 13 for AP and EAD and No changes since March 15 RFE response. Also they messed up the expedite twice where they sent me the email to the wrong address so I could never respond with my job offer wich made me lose the job 😒 Now they finally told me the fax number via phone and the Attention to add with the cover letter. Now it's day 8 after they received my fax and still nothing has changed. It is just frustrating....

You can expedite without a job offer if you can find a reason which fits the USCIS Expedite criteria which can be found here  https://www.uscis.gov/forms/expedite-criteria (the policy manual gives an example for some of the expedite criteria). However, for the EAD, you'd have the most success if he had a job offer. I just expedited my case and was approved today based on a job offer, it took about 2 weeks to do and the card can take up to 30 days to be produced and delivered. Also, you're almost at day 75, so if you can't find a reason to expedite you can submit an inquiry on day 75 (I have heard that sometimes it helps). My advice would be to wait another week and call to submit an inquiry or try to find him a job!

I hope you hear something soon, I know you and your husband have been desperate for work for some time now. My husband and I were in a similar situation, we are struggling to get by, but I felt a weight lifted off our shoulders. I nearly cried when I found out - I am so excited for him to get home so I can tell him. I really hope you find an offer so you can try to speed up the process. It doesn't always work for everyone, but it's worth taking the chance if you can get an offer. If you do manage to find a job offer, let me know if you have any questions about how to do the expedite, I'd be happy to help however I can!

    Hey February friends!
Just wanted to update - on April 6 I submitted a service request to expedite my EAD, I received a letter in the mail to fax evidence of a job offer on April 12 and faxed my reply on April 13. Today I checked my status and found out my EAD was approved and a new card is being produced! It's been 64 days since I submitted my application and 13 days since I put in my expedite request.
So excited and relieved. I even went to get a bottle of wine to celebrate with hubby when he gets off work!
Hope that those who tried to expedite around the same time receive a response sometime soon, and those who didn't try to expedite don't wait too much longer!

Nope, the FAQ is pretty clear about this, you must have the AP before leaving:

Filing a new petition is probably the quickest route, but explaining why the previous one was canceled (supposed by request) may be necessary. If the ex did fake being you, that's just wrong on so many levels.

But it is extremely strange for an ex to have physical access to somebody else's phone, know where to look to find the case number, know what it all means, then go through the process of writing a letter and sending it off to the correct place and with all the information needed. It's a whole lot of effort and knowing what to do for somebody to just come across randomly.

We got our NOA in the mail on Saturday, there are no dates on it! Do we have to make an infopass appointment to remedy this?

I think all they want to see is your German certificate, at least that is what your RFE sounds like. It would be pretty surprising if they weren't happy with the translation certificate issued by the civil registry. It doesn't get more official than that.

I sent both a copy of my German birth certificate and that official translation that you are talking about with it. I haven't heard anything from USCIS yet so I don't know whether it's sufficient.

I just emailed my original birth certificate to a translator in Germany and had a certified translation in the Mail a couple days later. I believe it was about 50€. I sent that translation along with a copy of the original. We just got our NOA1 though so I don't know if that is exactly what they want. But I think you should be fine if you just send a copy of your German birth certificate. You probably didn't have an issue in Frankfurt because they don't require a translation.

Hey, so I checked the other topics too. Someone updated it and said that they went to an Infopass appointment. They were able to get a duplicate NOA1 with the dates on them. It was a printing error on USCIS part. The original letters have the notice date and received dates, etc. Now I'm debating if I should bother to make an appointment or not. Some have said there should be no issues if they don't have dates on them.

If anyone has the same problems as we do, where there is no dates on your NOA1, you can make an appointment with Infopass to visit a local USCIS Office and receive a duplicate NOA1 with the dates on it. The website is (https://my.uscis.gov/appointment). I didn't know about this so thought I would share the information in case someone else is looking for it too.

    Good luck everyone.

Well its all about tracking your case.
You don´t need to call USCIS cause you can check your case online.
But after USCIS finish their part you can´t keep track anymore and it sucks lol.
So if you have your case# (thats why I call)you can track it online at the NVC.
Of course there is no need to call other people call every day, but if you wanna keep track of your case then I think a call is appropriate
