  1. I agree.... why is it for men to have to lift the seat, do our business, and then put the seat back down? If women are too oblivious to notice that the seat is not down (funny....us GUYS always make sure first...), is that our fault? Why the extra work for men? I say we reclaim the toilet! Women will now have to put the seat down, pee, and then put the seat back up!!

i say women should stand up for equal rights!

NO, men should sit DOWN instead of getting pee everywhere like neanderthals.

Why do you stand up anyway? Marking your territory? :P

Consider the problem of "Morning Wood".

There is NO way that I could sit on the toilet AND pee in it. I could probably spray the walls nicely, though. Maybe if it were hinged, I could bend it down toward the bowl. With Morning Wood though, it doesn't bend at ALL. Left to its own devices, it would happily spray the ceiling. Even hitting NEAR the toilet bowl requires torque. Torque, in regard to morning wood, is the degree of force needed to point an unbendable object toward the proper target, measured by how far your heels come up off of the floor.

Until you've tried it yourself (which ain't gonna happen, obviously), lay off of the complaining about Territory Marking.

I just thought of the "40 Year Old Virgin" when he urinates on himself

  2. Must be at least *** FT tall to ride

    &

Must be under *** LBS to ride

It's a small world after all, it's a small, small, world!!!

I loved the pirates chasing the woman above and at the end seeing all the country costumes :) . I used to love that ride!!!! Ohh memories!!!!

I heard they took out the Wenches because it isn't PC.

  3. This morning on the radio, they were discussing a recent motion by the city council of LA to ban the word, 'n!gger'. There wouldn't be any fine for using the word, so it was just a gesture to denounce use of the word.

However, Earl Ofari Hutchinson stated quite accurately that we shouldn't be passing city ordinances in order to send the message to people that the word, 'n!gger' should not be acceptable to be used. I agree with Kevin - the 1st Amendment can and should protect all forms of speech, no matter how vile or disgusting it may be.

I'm curious though how many here agree with ACLU's protection of the 1st Amendment? Is it being PC to not want to protect freedom of speech in even the most vile of sources?

I think any kind of denigration shouldn't be protected under the 1st amendment..

Who is to say what types of speech is denigrating? Cigarettes are called fags across the pond, when they seal log cabins they are chinking, I've heard the term slope a number of times when I was taking math classes, the word n!gger is used in music, etc

MadTV, SNL, almost any comedy show pokes fun at some group and people may get offended. Are we going to censor them?

  4. The Free Speech Clause is in place to limit The Government censoring citizens. Not to protect someone's sensitivities. You can't legislate emotion or ignorance.

Besides, if I was a purple person and someone was advocating the release of the Purple People Eaters. I'd just exercise my Second Amendment Rights.

  5. I know it's the UK, does that make the story invalid somehow?

no, just thought it should be mentioned before we had a riot of usc's thinking it was in the usa :P

Americans only riot after sporting events. Not for something important like the suspension of Habius Corpus or things the Gov't does that take away rights.

  6. Most people are so worried about the border with Mexico that they forget Canada.

An engineer from work was in Canada and wasn't stopped at the border. The agents were waving everyone through. This was a few months ago.

I don't think The Greens or the Sierra Club would allow a security fence built in the BWCA.

  7. I for one would be extremely pi$$ed if I got pulled for something as simple as not wearing my seat belt and was asked my immigration status.

Let's see...you're not pissed off if they ask for your license for driving without a belt, but the sky is falling on your head if you are asked your residency status on the same traffic stop. You better not travel in the USA near the border because that is exactly what happens at interior US Border Patrol checkpoints well past the border in Texas.

As for me...I'm more pissed off that there are 20 million illegal aliens in my country with more arriving every day and nobody has the nuts to do anything about it. Nothing but "poor me" I live in a police state stories.

Considering that I'm blond with blue eyes even if I did live on the border, I doubt I'd get asked anyway. My brother on the other hand, who looks just as Mexican as Javier, probably would. And yeah, he'd get pissed. If he were breaking the law and not wearing his seat belt, I doubt he'd get very upset if they asked for his DL. He's not breaking any laws by being in the US since he's a USC, therefore, he'd be pretty upset if asked his immigration status.

personally, i don't give a chit if they stop and ask me. i've got about 6 id's i can show them. so why are you and yours so wrapped up around the axle about it? is your time that valuable?

Would you feel that way if they asked you whether you had a gun? Serious question. I mean, you're supposed to be able to refuse questioning legally.

    The 5th Amendment

    People forget their rights.

  8. Stuff like this probably happens all the time. I know someone whose teen Son hit her at work! He was waiting at work for her to finish up for the day, so he was there for a couple of hours and getting impatient so she turned to him and said look just let me finish this up here first and then we can get out of here.

He turned around and hit her and she landed on the floor!!!!

My only question is, what would ever give your child any indication that it is even remotely ok within the realm of this world to hit you?

Some parents won't disipline their kids. Some parents don't want to seen as an authority figure, they want to be friends. Some kids are just plain spoiled. A lot of kids are put on mind altering drugs nowdays for depression or add/adhd. I'm sure there are a number of factors involved.
