Know of, 15 people at hubbys work. (insurance).
Why? Because they used to have a crappy system and now they have one that's efficient. Their customer numbers have gone up and they still don't have need for all their people.
The Government should take a look at efficiency and layoff a few people.

His apology was even better: "...if I've offended any cowboys, any Texans, any horses, anybody else that would be offended by these comments, I want to apologize."
http://www.bestweekever.tv/2007/11/15/bwe-...c-apology-ever/
Formalities... Everyone knows that he doesn't really give a dahamn and his comment was nowhere close to being out of line. Thus no apology was actually necessary, but I'm sure some ####### group felt differently. Goodness!!! However, his original comment was very funny!
The apology was clearly tongue in cheek

It took jurors roughly three days to return a death sentence for Derek Chappell, who was convicted in August in the first-degree murder of Devon Hinman Shackleford.
Woulda taken me roughly 3 seconds. I say stuff the ba$tard in the pool and hold him down 'till he drowns. Bring 'im out, revive him, and do it all over again about 6 times so he can get a taste of how that poor baby felt.
Chappell had been accused of choking Devon in December 2003, and state Child Protective Services had warned Devon's mother, Kristal Shackleford, to cut ties with Chappell. But defense attorneys said the couple resumed their relationship.
Im with Welshie on this one. The mother ought to be held partially responsible for knowingly putting her child in dangerous company. I could never stick with someone who harmed my child.
Waterboarding for him.
She should be charged with indangerment or what ever else they can get her with.

With MFG jobs moving out of the US & the USD falling. What would happen if China Released their dollar and let it float with the markets? Seeing how thay have a large growing middle class. Would China become the next economic superpower?

If they wanted to throw a symbolic jab and know the GWB will veto the bill. Don't set a timetable, just authorize $1.00 for Iraq spending.

My employer has a pretty great health care plan. Its under 200 a month and includes dental, health, yearly eye exams. ADD is about 10 dollars a month. In the past few years that insurance has going up my employer has absorbed the cost instead of passing it on to us.
Do you know anyone that has a health savings account? How does that work for them/you? Good idea ?

Some of you may realise this already, but this season is going to be split into two volumes. We have 3 weeks left of this volume (2) and then there will be a break of 6 weeks or something like that (there is also a writer strike going on, so many of our programmes will be off air for a while at some point). Volume 3 (or season 2 part 2) will start in the new year. They are doing this mainly because they lost tons of viewers in the 5 week hiatus they had in season 1.
I also read an interview with the creator of Heroes, Tim Kring, and he has realised that they've pretty much cocked up the series so far, what with Hiro being in Japan for far too long, Claire's boyfriend (badly received and boring as hell), the two newbies Maya and Alejandro (not well liked) and the time with no Peter in it at all (most popular character). So the good thing is they've listened to the viewers and will be making huge changes to return the third volume (season 2 part 2) to what we are used to and love.
I hope the writers stike does affect it.

use your fireplace and wear more clothes
We just might do that! Fortunately, we have two working fireplaces in the house. Unfortunately, none of them are in the upper level of the house ... brrrrr. And I might get a portable heater for the bathroom so it's not too cold when I go take a shower early in the morning.
MN has the cold weather rule. A Company can't shut off you heat in the winter months if you can't pay bills. What happened last year is some people didn't pay and made no attempt to pay even after winter. So companies shut off their gas for the summer and now charging a reconnect fee along with reporting credit.

"St. Paul couple kept girl in a kennel, police say
Paul Gustafson and Heron Marquez Estrada, Star Tribune
February 10, 2005 KENNEL0210
A St. Paul mother and her live-in boyfriend are accused of locking the woman's 11-year-old daughter in a chain-link dog kennel in a warehouse basement, leaving her cold and, one night, naked.
Deborah L. Cameron and Eric Bare appeared in Ramsey County District Court on Wednesday, each charged with two counts of unreasonable restraint of a child, a gross misdemeanor.
Cameron called St. Paul police Jan. 1 to say she was having problems with her daughter and asked them to remove the girl from their home.
When police arrived they heard the girl screaming.
She told them that Bare locked her in a dog cage, hit her and read her diary.
Child protection officials removed the girl, then talked with the couple about the girl's allegations, the complaint states.
Bare, 41, and Cameron, 34, told officers that on two occasions in 2003 they had locked the girl in a kennel 12 feet long, 3 feet wide and 6 feet high to discipline her and change her behavior, according to a criminal complaint.
They kept the kennel in the basement of a warehouse that Bare rented next door to the couple's duplex in the 600-block of Snelling Av. N.
The girl was locked in the kennel for three days in August 2003 when she was 11 years old, and again in October 2003 for a week, Bare told authorities."
