Look here, cowboy, I'm not impressed with the "revolutionaries" here that dangle their supposed firepower as an argument. Ain't working with me. It's very unconvincing on top of being less than civilized. To the guards of yesterday I say, go to the caves of Afghanistan. They love yesterday there. It's all they do.
    One can only hope.

SIMPLY IRRITATING... I wonder if anything like this was as publicized when Bush was in office; he pretty much screwed up this country and he DIDNT help or care about the Native Americans- so why the fuss about Obama (who just got in office) bein unable to help. SIMPLY RETARDED. I'd prefer the blame on a pres who ruled the country for almost a decade and did nothing for Natives than a pres who's been in office for under a year...

Do you dispute the facts as they pertain to how many Congressional Representatives and how many Senators the GOP will need to override a Presidential veto?
Do you dispute the fact that Obama will be President on Nov 3 2010?

The Constitution as written by Thomas Jefferson, did not contain any passage authorizing any Federal income tax. That was added for paying the WWII war costs.

Instead of getting people back to work like he promised over a year ago, he's been tied up with this health care thing that people don't want.

Yes, the Left has a tendency to overstate and make inaccurate comparisons to elevate their pet projects into grand moral crusades that come nowhere close to what they are comparing them to.
A couple of days ago I watched that little twit, Rep. Luis Gutierrez (D - IL) on FOX news comparing his proposed illegal alien amnesty legislation (aka: comprehensive immigration reform) and the illegal alien march on Washington today to the civil rights movement of the 1960's. These people are ridiculous. Maybe they can get the ignorant, stupid, and the gullible to buy into these lame comparisons, but it really shows what ridiculous lengths these clowns will go to in order to bamboozle the American public while trying to sell this #######.

Agree, America's relationship with other countries is at an all time high, worrying about this is the least of the country's concerns now.

As you know, many countries are in Haiti helping out, after the tragic earthquake. At their camps, they are flying their flags. Only one country isn't and it's the one that has done more to help Haiti — and the world — than any place else in the history of histories.
    Of course that's us.
According to the Army Times, vets and servicemembers are ticked. They realize that the U.S. should be proud to fly the flag — anywhere, for that matter. After all, the U.S. is filled with good people with big hearts and generous resources.
    It's not like we're Belgium.
But, according to the Obama administration, raising the flag will make us look bad. The U.S. government's Haiti Joint Information Center, says: "We are not here as an occupation force, but as an international partner committed to supporting the government of Haiti on the road to recovery."
Uh, yeah — we know that. Everyone knows that. The only people who say we're an "occupation force" are idiots like Hugo Chavez. So again, it seems our policies are shaped not by principle, but by placating thugs.
Look, the U.S. isn't looking for thanks. We get it: We're great and hated for it. If the world were a high school, we'd be the captain of the football team. But the fact is, we've been told by Obama and his adoring media, that our global reputation sucks (it's all Bush's fault).
It seems to me by seeing what America does best, with a flag there to represent it, that might help. But if in your heart, you feel American "exceptionalism" is bunk and patriotism is silly, then you'd prefer the world think we're bad, regardless of our humanitarian efforts.
So screw the flag, and put on some Green Day. No wonder people hate us.
And if you disagree with me, you probably beat up leprechauns.

Nagishkaw got a reaction from SuperDuper! in Colo topless gardener complaints prompt new rules
BOULDER, Colo. – A woman gardening wearing only a yellow thong and pink gloves has brought neighborhood complaints and new rules from a housing authority in Colorado.
Boulder Housing Partners plans to amend its rules so that tenants cover up when they're outside. Several passers-by told Boulder police earlier this week that 52-year-old Catharine Pierce was topless while tending to her yard. Last year, she was threatened with eviction for gardening wearing only pasties and a thong.
Police responding to Wednesday's reports decided Pierce wasn't breaking any laws.
Robert Pierce said he'll fight changes that would keep his wife from gardening outside topless, which is legal under state and city law.
"They're making a big mistake," he said.
Boulder Housing Partners Executive Director Betsey Martens didn't return a phone call Friday seeking details on how covered residents would have to be.
She told the Daily Camera newspaper that people have complained for years about the couple often going outside wearing only thong underwear.
Robert Pierce said the new rules wouldn't discourage the couple. "We'll stay the way we have to stay," he said.
The City Council is scheduled in April to consider expanding the city's anti-nudity ordinance, but a draft proposal to make it an offense for women to go topless in public was removed.
City spokesman Patrick von Keyserling said the housing authority is a separate entity and that the city can't dictate the agency's rules.
Judd Golden, chairman of the Boulder County chapter of the American Civil Liberties Union, said neighborhoods are generally able to make their own rules for residents to follow. But he said the ACLU does not support limits that are more restrictive than the law.
