Hi,
I am in need of your help/knowledge.
I filed my N-400 in August 2022. For some reason (lucky enough), received an interview notice in 2 weeks (September) for early October interview.
Interview went great and all passed, but I did a name change request.
IO told me I will receive a notification from local court as the oath ceremony would take place in local court for people who would change name.
And IO also said I'd need to contact USCIS if I do not hear back within 3 months and here I am not hearing back from the local court.
Tried calling USCIS where the auto-answering machine only provides the basic info and hangs up when asked to talk to an agent...
Can you share where I can actually contact and ask about the progress?
I feel like it's in between two parties where either takes any responsibility...

Well, everybody in the same boat. No update in the 500 cases transferred before mine (you can check it at case tracker app). I have been waiting for 1 year 😒
Mine is SRC 1990290xxx if that’s what you are looking for.

I am SRC filer too and I'm in the same case too.
Old site says my fingerprint review was completed, but the new site says my case was received.
I guess I need to wait longer on the decision....

Receipt is SRC number.
Anyone else is same position?

Hi JP,
I never got my NOA. I sent the package because we got a letter saying that we had to file the I-751. You are right, I should have sent it March 26. I got so anxious that I sent it right away forgetting about the 90-day window. So do you think they just trashed what I sent them? And should I send another one right away?
When I was in the interview for conditional GC, the officer told me not to send in I-751 before 90-day window opens because they may return. That's why I was asking you about the date.
I do not think they would trash them, they may return or put them aside until later.

I have the same issue as you. Until now, our check hasn't been cashed. Our ROC was received on March 14 at the Dallas Service Center. Did they cash your check or did you receive any notification?

Hey Isa,
Did you ever get your NOA?
Just wondering.....if your GC expires June 26, 2019, doesn't your window open on March 25th or 26th? I see that you sent the package on March 14th which is a bit earlier than your 90 day window..

Hello All,
Hope all of your process go well.
I sent my package last Friday and it arrived on Tuesday. They cashed it today so I am expecting to receive extension letter pretty soon.
What do I do if I need to move to different place while waiting for a finger print?
How do I change the address? I searched on uscis website but very confusing....
Thanks!

Can anyone answer my question below?
I had an interview and was approved. I also received a card in about a week. However when I check my status of i-130 online, it still says case received. Does anyone have any idea why it's showing it?
TIA

We are keeping our fingers crossed for that! Our medicals expires in a month so hopefully before that would be nice but we'll see
Hey, if our medical record did not expire, do we still need to bring original copy of it to interview?

Because they are processing AOS cases from late April 2016
I saw that, too. But that is what they were processing back in Nov.30.
Also, just found someone whose local office is ATL that just received an interview notice yesterday and he/she is early August filer.
So I'm guessing little earlier than 3-4 months.

You probably have about 3-4 months wait yet before an interview in ATL.
what makes you think it's 3-4 months?

Am new here. Just registered today.. I am a September filer and I got my EAD December 2016.
My local office is Atlanta field office.
Is there any September filer here who is still waiting to be scheduled for interview like me?
Hey,
I'm August filer and got my EAD in October.
My local office is ATL too and still waiting for interview.
-
My interview is scheduled for January 10th, Chicago. Hoping for the best outcome. Letter should be in the mail by today or Monday.
Congrats!
How did you find out about your interview? Was it posted online?
-
I went to an infopass today and found out my AOS interview has been scheduled for Dec.8th. They told me it was scheduled on Nov.9th, which means if I don't come to the infopass I would still receive the interview notice in the mail sometime this week. I am super excited! Good luck to all of us! Glad things are moving along!
What does your case status online say?
-
Received EAD in mail today.
2 Days Since the status has changed to card has been mailed.
-
My EAD card was mailed yesterday, the 1st. Hopefully I will get it tomorrow.
It has been 2 and half week since approval and 2 week from card being produced.
Now more waiting for interview date
-
Anyone with scheduled interview dates yet?
What are your dates?
-
Mine was two weeks after the status changed to "ready to schedule for interview"
Can you share your timeline?

Hi All,
I had an interview back in October 2022 and it went well (approved).
I should have waited but did a name change request there. The officer told me I'd need to go to court for the oath change and he set up all for me.
And also he mentions that if I do not hear back within 3 months, I'd need to contact USCIS because it is out of normal processing time.
Does anyone have similar experience? Anyone requested a name change in 2022 and still waiting? or approved?
