  1. Sadly I saw more people asking questions turn into rude comments towards the people answering because they don't like the rules/laws and they don't like the answers they get... I feel that sometimes is not rude but maybe crude answers... or surprised ones when someone asking have a weird case... Also I assume not everyone have my sense of humor, I can sound rude at times but is mostly a sarcastic character and a peculiar sense of humor...

  2. In my case they gave me NOA 1/ NOA 2 that comes from USCIS and the Ciudad Juarez was a letter with my case number and letting me know that I could set an appointment... this "invitation" is the only one that came from the Ciudad Juarez Consulate and you do need the original to the CAS biometric appointment, medical and Consulate... Check if your fiancee have received it at home... My husband (USC) didn't receive it, it was me in Mexico the only one who received the invitation letter and just after that I set my appointment....

  3. Her original birth certificate was on time or "extemporanea"? If it was on time going to the Registro Civil it's helpful because they can issue a copy... if since the beginning she had an extemporaneous birth certificate can she ask for a passport for only one year??? O read that is posible to get a one year one in those cases, she would have to call sre and speak with maybe the supervisor in the call center to get a better answer. Good luck and I hope she can figure it out soon

  4. She can remove condition without your help, I know this is not what you wanna hear/read but is a fact. The only thing you can do is to write a letter to USCIS and maybe even hand it personally in an Infopass appointment in your local office, but honestly that won't affect much her case, if any. I understand you are hurt and is painful beyond words but since her arrival you saw so many red flags and kept going, maybe it was love, need, loneliness, stubbornness, you name it... but right now, there is nothing you can do or should do... Forget about her, not that she worth even a thought from you... and if what you want is love, look in people you can trust, people you can see daily and can show you their true colors, not people in the other side of the world that can easily be scamming you or using you. Don't make impulsive decisions and analize the people you get involved with, before you get your feelings control you... Good luck.

  5. You can be in Mexico as a tourist/visitor for up to 180 days, but longer stays and work need a permit. Also, if you don't have a job offer already, Mexico job situation is similar than all other countries in southamerica... not want to be mean at all, just letting you know a few cons of your plan... if you apply from your country or even from Mexico, and do all the legal process you will reunite with your wife in a few months. Good luck

  6. And just want to add, that in my opinion the cruise lines, airlines and all the groups that do bussiness with anything related with international tourism should be more able to help/ inform of the updated needs for their passengers to the countries they will visit, Is terrible that someone need to loose money for something they could prevent with better information pre purchase

  7. In Mexico this is the authority that gives the visas/ permision to entry the country:

    http://www.inm.gob.mx/gobmx/word/index.php/paises-requieren-visa-para-mexico/

India nationals do need visa to visit the country, the conditions to not need it is to present a valid green card or a valid visa, if the OP don't have a multientry visa to USA or the green card, he would need a visa to visit Mexico. The Combo card is not valid as a proof of US legal residency nor as a visa for the US. So sadly OP will probably loose his money :(

  8. My husband is in a hard spot, he is the breadwinner and USC, I came here three years ago, I have a legal permanent resident status and Im in my window time to file for citizenship. We found ourselves in a moment where only bankruptcy is the option. Im really worry about the impact in my future naturalization result. We are thinking about filing bankruptcy jointly (I don't work, stay at home with our children) My concern is:

    1. If we file jointly (can I even be filing as a permanent resident?

    2. If I can file jointly with my husband, will that bankruptcy affect the decision when I file for citizenship?

In general, will this prevent me become a citizen?

    Thank you

  9. Hi, I was a F1 student and just graduated, I have a work offer and send my paperwork for the EAD on may first. I received my first NOA saying they received my papers... its from Potomac Setvice Center. I want to know in average how long it takes from that Center... I know they say an average of 90 days but... in the last applications, is been less than that maybe (hopefully) and what should I expect from Potomac
