  1. Hey guys! I had my Oath Ceremony at the Long Island, NY Field Office on July 23. The entire ceremony lasted 15 minutes. It was very meaningful for me, and I am glad that this is DONE! I filed for my passport the next day, so I hope this is the last waiting game.
I want to thank every one of you for your encouragement and words of wisdom through these past five years. We wouldn’t have been able to do it without Visa Journey’s fabulous people.

    Hi Guys!

Anyone at the Vermont (EAC) Center who filled I-751 in July received an interview date?  What are the predictions?

I've heard that things are going pretty quick for 2019 filers. On the USCIS website says wait time is over a year but I like to believe that's not true 😳😜

From what I red here, seems like everyone is being scheduled for an interview. Do you know of any approvals without having to go to an interview?

    Happy Holidays!!!

    Hi @Hanna_NYC,

Vermont filers here! We’re on the same boat. I had my Biometrics done in September, but we haven’t heard anything since then.
I hope things move quicker on 2020.

Right that is why there is nothing to disagree. I said you were incorrect when you replied to me the first time, because I am going by real time information for July 2019 filers, which is what this thread is for (not 2018 filers). If someone who filed in July 2019 read your response and expected to receive a notice in April 2020 and decided to go on a holiday in two months then they could miss the appointment.

The important thing is to offer correct and up to date information, not assuaging ones feelings because one can’t handle being wrong on the internet.

    hi Boketto,

I have reported this user “Camerica” multiple times because she tends to be very aggressive and NASTY rude with other users. I would suggest you do the same.
    Good luck with your process!

  4. Good afternoon everybody,

Here's an update on our case.

July 31, 2019 - Package sent to Dallas, TX.

August 7, 2019 - Received text and email with Case Number. Package sent to Vermont.

August 14, 2019 - Received NOA by mail.

I noticed that my NOA states that they will send me an appointment letter for biometrics IN CASE IT IS NECESSARY. Is this a normal procedure?

Also, any ideas about how long is Vermont taking to process our cases?

Thanks everybody for sharing positive vibe and tons of knowledge.

No, you either send it Dallas or Pheonix, you didn't make a mistake. Vermont and California are the service centers (there are others too, like Nebraska, Texas). Once you get your case number, you will see where you file is being processed. For example, I submitted my package to Pheonix, AZ and it is not being processed in the California Service Center because my case number starts with WAC#

Tamaara, thank you very much! I was having almost a panick attack. How long did it take for you to receive any letter from them?
