Hi all! Just a quick note to let you know that tomorrow I’ll be attending the Oath Ceremony at the Long Island Office in NY. The ceremony was supposed to occur on June 18th, but it was cancelled last minute because of the Juneteenth holiday.
I am beyond excited about becoming a U.S. Citizen. Good luck to all of you! -

Congrats on getting closer to the finish line! Glad to see progress at LI office. I filed towards the end of July. Hoping to see an interview notice in the next couple of months.
I bet you will get it next week! I filed the second week of June 2020. Crossing my fingers and sending good vibes your way.

Sharing good news!
My case was approved today!
Submitted: August 2019
Fingerprints: September 2019
NO RFE
NO INTERVIEW FOR AOS
NO INTERVIEW FOR I-751
Service Center: VermontGod is GOOD!

Same here! Filed I-751 in July 2019, N-400 in June 2020. I haven’t heard anything regarding ROC except for the fingerprints, and complete SILENCE about the naturalization process.
My Center is Vermont. -
Any news for Vermont filers? My case is stuck in “Case was updated to show that fingerprints were done” since September 12, 2019. Applied to N-400 on June 13th and they have been silent about that case, too.
I am starting to worry. 😳 -
Did USCIS website crashed? I have trying to check my status on both the old and the new website, and I the website seems to be down.
-
Congratulations to everybody receiving approvals!! I wanted to ask for your advice: I plan to file for citizenship by mid-June, however I have heard that it is possible to do it online. Would you recommend this?

Hanna, don’t worry please. I looked at case tracker app again and saw that literally almost every case from EAC got RFE recently, but at least they work on it...
Good luck!
I am an EAC too, can you check my case number please? The number is EAC1990128XXX

Hi Guys!
Anyone at the Vermont (EAC) Center who filled I-751 in July received an interview date? What are the predictions?
I've heard that things are going pretty quick for 2019 filers. On the USCIS website says wait time is over a year but I like to believe that's not true 😳😜
From what I red here, seems like everyone is being scheduled for an interview. Do you know of any approvals without having to go to an interview?
Happy Holidays!!!
Hi @Hanna_NYC,
Vermont filers here! We’re on the same boat. I had my Biometrics done in September, but we haven’t heard anything since then.
I hope things move quicker on 2020. -

Right that is why there is nothing to disagree. I said you were incorrect when you replied to me the first time, because I am going by real time information for July 2019 filers, which is what this thread is for (not 2018 filers). If someone who filed in July 2019 read your response and expected to receive a notice in April 2020 and decided to go on a holiday in two months then they could miss the appointment.
The important thing is to offer correct and up to date information, not assuaging ones feelings because one can’t handle being wrong on the internet.
hi Boketto,
I have reported this user “Camerica” multiple times because she tends to be very aggressive and NASTY rude with other users. I would suggest you do the same.
Good luck with your process! -
Hey guys,
just wanted to share that on September 10th I had my fingerprints taken in Manhanttan. My case is in Vermont, and it seems is moving fast. Is there a spreadsheet for Vermont cases?
Many thanks.

Good afternoon everybody,
Here's an update on our case.
July 31, 2019 - Package sent to Dallas, TX.
August 7, 2019 - Received text and email with Case Number. Package sent to Vermont.
August 14, 2019 - Received NOA by mail.
I noticed that my NOA states that they will send me an appointment letter for biometrics IN CASE IT IS NECESSARY. Is this a normal procedure?
Also, any ideas about how long is Vermont taking to process our cases?
Thanks everybody for sharing positive vibe and tons of knowledge.

No worries. I got my extension letter about a week after they received my package. All my dates are in my signature
You're right! I'm sorry to overlooked it. We had a lot of issues with the adjustment of status (i.e., lost letters, duplicate appointments), that we are praying to have a very smooth journey this time.

Thank you very much, Georgia16! I was almost kicking myself. We had some issues when we did the adjustment of status, that I feel very apprehensive with this thing since then. I hope our case goes smoothly this time.
Again, thank you very much for replying.

No, you either send it Dallas or Pheonix, you didn't make a mistake. Vermont and California are the service centers (there are others too, like Nebraska, Texas). Once you get your case number, you will see where you file is being processed. For example, I submitted my package to Pheonix, AZ and it is not being processed in the California Service Center because my case number starts with WAC#
Tamaara, thank you very much! I was having almost a panick attack. How long did it take for you to receive any letter from them?

Super question: we sent our I-751 package to Dallas, Texas today as it was indicated on the USCIS website (we live in New York), but I see that everybody has sent to Vermont or California. Did we make a mistake?!! Please help... I'm panicking!

Hi everybody!
We sent our package a few hours ago. It is supposed to arrive to Dallas, Texas on Friday. We are very hopeful that this process will have a positive outcome. In the meantime, I will be praying and praying. I don't really know what to expect nowadays with this administration.

Hey guys! I had my Oath Ceremony at the Long Island, NY Field Office on July 23. The entire ceremony lasted 15 minutes. It was very meaningful for me, and I am glad that this is DONE! I filed for my passport the next day, so I hope this is the last waiting game.
I want to thank every one of you for your encouragement and words of wisdom through these past five years. We wouldn’t have been able to do it without Visa Journey’s fabulous people.
