  1. The I-86a shows the USCIS officer that the spouse of the Joint Sponsor is aware of the obligations of sponsorship. I agree with @Dashinka.
  2. Probably not. I would advise them all to submit the proper address change forms. AR-11 for immigrant if he/she has moved since the I-751 was submitted. I-865 for petitioner if they have moved since the I-751 was submitted. I-865 for sponsors to report current address.
  3. So, there is no real check of SCOTUS. The POTUS can veto a bill from Congress, and Congress can override a veto of a POTUS. But there is little that can be done about a SCOTUS ruling.
  4. Using the appropriate average conversion rate, I assume. Just convert your current annual income (expected over the next 12 months) to USD on the I-864. You should be fine.
  5. Which of those steps provides any period of authorized stay or legal status? #5?
  6. It might take a while longer. You now have everything you need to know that USCIS has your petition, and they are processing it. Buckle in. It's going to be a long journey. Best wishes for a smooth ride.
  7. We first saw wife's oath ceremony online. Later, got a hard copy in the mail.
  8. As you said, Congress could fix a lot of this mess.
  9. Be ready to explain exactly what a 24 yo and a 54 yo have in common. Be ready to explain how you cope with the cultural differences. Step 1 is to get married.
  10. Personally, I use a bidet. Once you have one, you will never go back to TP.
  11. You will need the expired 2 year Green Card and the original 48 month extension letter to re-enter the US. Have a good trip. **Moved to Working and Traveling during US Immigration***
  12. @Evelyne Irakoze, please note that I have removed the duplicate thread you posted. Please don't start multiple, duplicate threads. That could be considered spamming. Thanks****
  13. I think this is the biggest factor right here.
  14. 1. If the 3 branches of the US government are co-equal branches, how can the Judicial Branch void an Executive branch action? 2. What are the "checks and balances" to the Judicial branch? 3. Is it constitutional for a district judge to issue a nationwide injunction?
  15. Thanks for this report. There is a lot of unfounded fear right now (my opinion). Your real-world experience will be extremely beneficial to other travelers.
  16. The problem with resubmitting another complete package is that they might accept both packages. You would then have 2 I-485s floating in the system with no refunds.
  17. I would not send another package until I found out the disposition of the 1st one.
  18. Where is your local office? Took my wife 3 months to receive notice of her interview date. Just keep watching your online account.
  19. You could get a rejection. Nothing you can do except wait it out. Good luck.
  20. What minor error? ***Moved to Adjustment of Status from K1 forum***
  21. How many Democrats went to Gaza to demand the release of American hostages? ZERO.
