  1. ***Hijack comment split to new topic thread***
  2. ***Comments split from existing topic***
  3. Age difference won't be an issue for the Philippines. Whether you fill in the forms or not, you will still have to do all the legwork in providing the information and/or documentation. I am moving this topic to the Philippines regional forum for our PI experts to see.
  4. ***Old thread locked to further comments***
  5. The Covid excuse won't work any longer. They could have returned several years ago. Options as I see them: 1. Board a plane and return to the US ASAP. Do not sign an I-407 if asked to do so. Hopefully, CBP will not refer them to an Immigration Judge. 2. Voluntarily surrender their Green Cards by submitting an I-407 from India, then reapply for immigration or visitor benefits. If they want to live in the US, I would try #1 first. Other members might feel differently.
  6. ***Comment and replies containing personal information removed. @hamid0101, this is not a CBP site. Your posts are NOT received or read by CBP, USCIS, or DOS. Please refrain from posting personally identifying information in your questions/comments***
  7. My wife kept her last name. It actually made for a smoother immigration process, I think. Otherwise, she would have had to change investments, insurance, home country driver's license, etc. in her home country. No one has ever questioned the fact that we have different legal last names.
  8. You are free to leave at any time. There are no immigration checkpoints when departing.
  9. Same here. 40 months after filing our I-751, wife submitted her N-400. Four months later, both the I-751 and N-400 were approved during a combo interview.
  10. Public Charge is not a consideration when applying for citizenship. Non-Issue.
  11. Congratulations!!! That really is a huge accomplishment.
  12. No, you cannot add him to Mother's case regardless of his age. There can be no derivatives for immediate relatives if US citizens. Your mother will have to petition him after she becomes a legal resident.
  13. She can apply for emergency travel (I-131) Emergency Travel | USCIS
  14. No. You will be interviewed. Every application is a separate entity.
  15. That might be much more difficult than you think. Your spouse should be close to being able to file for citizenship. Once he becomes a citizen, you are off the hook for the I-864. Have you filed for divorce?
  16. The issue just started again. I cannot ping or connect to VJ unless I connect via a VPN.
  17. You can withdraw your cooperation before the I-751 is approved. I would send a letter to both the service center and the local office if I wanted to withdraw. Note: This will not affect your obligations under the I-864.
  18. Have you checked today's breaking news regarding Ukrainian TPS? Good luck on your journey.
  19. ***Moved to Adjustment of Status from Work, Student, and Tourist Visas*** I would get the I-485 submitted as soon as possible.....like ASAP!!!!!! I would also check the breaking news today.
