  1. The NVC wording regards actions involved in immigrating until visa is in hand. You are not restricted from visiting the US during this process.
  2. FYI- The OP has reached new member post limit today. He'll be back tomorrow.
  3. If failing to meet is the reason for denial, then OP can refile an I-129f. However, I would consider a CR-1 spousal visa.
  4. In the past, they have rejected cases for failing to meet within 2 years prior to filing. Looks like they decided to deny this case instead (which is their choice).
  5. Looks like you sent the I-129F in March of 2022.....then met in March 2023. That is the reason for denial.
  6. On what date did you file the I-129f? You MUST have met within 2 years before filing. That is a firm requirement.
  7. Looks like a hard denial. Please let us know what the denial letter says (if you get one).
  8. Exactly what told it was denied?
  9. You're on a down-hill course now. The N-400 is a piece of cake.
  10. Your US spouse needs to join us here.
  11. "My hubby is currently in the US" Then, there is no basis for a DCF application.
  12. ***Hijack comment removed to new Thread*** Please start your own thread***
  13. Honestly, you seem to have a history which will receive a lot of scrutiny. Residing together for a few years outside the US might help a lot.
  14. Famous only in my own mind. 😀
  15. Agree. That can be a Mount Everest obstacle for spousal visas. Have seen it mentioned several times on NOID letters.
  16. Interview: 15 minutes maximum Happy Dance post-interview: 10 minutes Walk in the part to reflect on this great achievement: 2 hours Take the whole day off.
  17. ***Similar topic for OP merged***
  18. Not if a previous I-130 has been filed for the same beneficiary. Chapter 3 - Filing | USCIS "In addition, USCIS does not authorize DOS to accept a local filing abroad if the petitioner has already filed a Form I-130 domestically for the same beneficiary."
  19. Consulates are not authorized to accept cases if an I-130 has already been submitted stateside. The option is to request an expedite via USCIS: Chapter 3 - Filing | USCIS
  20. It sounds as if you are one the rare cases in which previous biometrics were not useable. It is possible this is causing a delay in card production. Hopefully, your card will arrive soon after biometrics. This is the 2nd case I have seen today.
  21. "how long is the process" Parents are immediate relatives of US citizens. Visa category is IR-5. It will take approximately 18 months to 24 months, imo.
