Interview went great. She only asked about 2 questions. How we met and how he proposed. She went over his application with him and that was it. We were there for about 30 mins. 20 minutes waiting to be called back and 10 for the interview. Good luck at your interview, I don't see you guys will have any problems.

We had our interview at the Detroit office today. It was very simple, we checked in at the counter and they told us to have a seat and someone will call you. We waited about 20 minutes. The questions were simple, she went over the application than she asked how we met and how he proposed, she went over our photos and that was it. We got approved, interview was about 10 minutes long.

We had to set an appointment, but they got us in the next day. We printed out the form from the USCIS website and took it with us. I think you will also need a passport photo. Also if you have health insurance it will cover any testing that you may need. They only charge for the office visit. Our price of $300 was because my husband did not have health insurance at the time.
The doctor is:
Faiz Mansour
10 west long lake road
bloomfield hills, MI 48302
phone number is 248-452-9500

Hey there guys,
my husband went to a place in Bloomfield hills. It was around 300 with all the testing and everything. He had his papers in hand 2 days later after the TB read. You can go on USCIS website and look for a doctor in your area if Bloomfield hills is too far for you.

Just got notification that my husband's interview is scheduled for Aug 3rd. He did receive a RFIE for his birth certificate, and the USCIS received the response on April 21st. Status went from RFIE received to interview scheduled.

Yes it has been a LONG journey 😊 9 days is nothing compared to how long it's actually been with the whole process. If you don't hear by day 90 than maybe give them a call. 😃

Hi Dorothyla
in my opinion I would just wait, our EAD was approved at Day 87 even with a RFIE. I know patience is tested in this process, but stay strong and positive. I have been reading the forums and it seems to me like the SR isn't if any help. So instead of having the headache calling USCIS we just waited.

Good news today!!! my husbands EAD was approved. Although it does not show on the case tracker app or uscis website. I did receive an email from uscis that said card in production.

No we will be going to the one in Pontiac off Pontiac rd. Someone told us that they are used to immigration and the rules because it is a popular place there I guess. I will let you know once we go.

That's strange because it says right on their papers a receipt for AOS would be fine. Maybe we will go and try and see if we get the same paper SAVE.

If anyone here is from Michigan, I found this on the state website..... to get your drivers license and or state ID. I know some from this group said that they were having troubles in Michigan.
1 document from the social security i.e.: social security card
1 document of legal presence: it states that: expired USCIS documents may be presented if accompanied by an I-797 receipt indicating an AOS or extension of stay. A valid unexpired foreign passport must also be submitted.
Also marrage license and 2 utility bills or something with your address on it.
So so I hope this helps we are going to try on Saturday, and will let everyone know the out come.

My husband just got his biometrics done this morning in the Detroit office. He said it was simple and took about 5 minutes total, from the time he walked in to when he left. Now onto the next step. Good luck everyone. Let the wait begin.
