Hey all, I was wondering if this is normal? We had the biometrics appointment back in Nov 2019 but still haven't heard anything back and I'm beginning to worry a bit.
My husband’s bio appointment was also in November. Case shows fingerprints were taken. He is at Nebraska (LIN).

I have a quick question for y'all
I had my fingerprint appointment today at my local ASC. The lady who was taking care of my fingerprints told me that my date of birth on the system was not matching with my actual date of birth. Looks like it had been entered to their system wrongly. Luckily, I had a copy of my I-751 application and looks like they were the ones who put it wrong.
Anyways, the same person at ASC told me to call USCIS in order to fix it which I did and USCIS agent asked me to put an e-request through their website.
My question is do you think this is going to be enough to fix that error? I really don't rely on USCIS and I don't want to deal with the same problem over and over again either. So what could be the best solution for this little issue here? Should I mail the USCIS Service Center as well you think?
And lastly, so USCIS call center can't fix that kind of problem over the phone at all? Should I believe in that? Or Should I call them again ask for supervisor?
Thanks!
My husband had the same problem with his conditional GC. We called and changed it, but guess what his GC came with the wrong birthday on it. We had to file to replace his GC, that took over a year.

All we have received is our extension letter (June) but no appointment for biometrics or anything else. This is insane. We have a trip planned in November but we are nervous to go with him just having a letter...
We are in the same position, June 11 is when they received the application and nothing yet. We did get the extension letter for 18 months, but I am thinking that we had to replace his GC, because the birthday was printed wrong on the first one we may not have to do they bios again. He had to do them when he replaced his GC. that was within a year of sending ROC application, so they may just use those ones. I’m not 100% sure but that is just my guess.

Do you know when should I expect my biometrics lettre?! It’s been almost 20 days since my case was received
My husband’s has been almost 40 days and no word on biometrics yet. So I’m not sure what’s going on.

It takes about a month for biometrics but if you're concerned you can use this tool to request an update https://egov.uscis.gov/e-request/Intro.do
Ok thank you. I wasn’t sure because I was seeing people getting their appointment letter a few weeks after NOA and than the actual appointment was a month later. We will just sit and wait.

Received our hard copy of NOA 6/22 and than nothing. No biometrics appointment letter yet. I see many received their application a few weeks after the NOA. Should we be worried?

What APP do you use?
It’s called USCISApp and I also use case tracker. You can find them in the App Store. You will in put your case number and it will give you all the information there. You can also use the search option and see other cases around yours, to see when they get approved

According to many other posts and sources, a very long time. I'd expect a waiting time of anywhere between 6 and 12 months. If it doesn't take as long, that'll be great. If it takes longer, that's just how it is... Best of luck.
Ok thank you, do you know what he will have to do in the mean time? Like what should he carry with him to show his residency.

Hello everyone,
my husband got his GC in the mail today but they put the wrong birthday on it. I know we have to call them to replace it. Does anyone know how long it will take to get it replaced?

I'm seeing a lot of people on here get interviews (and pass, yay!) and get AOS done with, but it seems to me they're adjusting from F1s, H1Bs and the like. Are there any March filers who are adjusting from K1 visas who have had interviews? Or had their greencards approved already without interview?
My husband is a K1 and he got approved for his AOS with interview last Thursday. We are now waiting for the card to be sent to us.

How was your interview? Hopefully everything was smooth
Interview went great. She only asked about 2 questions. How we met and how he proposed. She went over his application with him and that was it. We were there for about 30 mins. 20 minutes waiting to be called back and 10 for the interview. Good luck at your interview, I don't see you guys will have any problems.

We had our interview at the Detroit office today. It was very simple, we checked in at the counter and they told us to have a seat and someone will call you. We waited about 20 minutes. The questions were simple, she went over the application than she asked how we met and how he proposed, she went over our photos and that was it. We got approved, interview was about 10 minutes long.
