I got a new message in there this morning at 1:55 EDT. I was expecting an updated email!
 
Case complete September 11th.

I submitted mine Aug 31 at 3am west coast time, I haven't heard anything from them yet. I have estimated 14 days out to about 21 days we should be hearing something.

Finally got our case numbers after waiting 25 days, and right now waiting on fees to clear and hopefully I get all our docs updated soon!

While talking on the phone to the hubby (hubby is extremely worn out from work and not having anyone coming home to, and was expressing his  concerns of what this process is doing to him mentally ) We ended up getting our case numbers! Officially in Step 2!

I might be a bit ahead of myself, but I just sent off my petition for my Spouse on January 2nd as overnight with certified mail and return receipt. Should be there January 3rd by noon, and I'm expecting someone to sign for it on the 4th.
 
I wanted to send it off on December 30th, but missed the deadline to get it sent off before the 3 day weekend.
 
For the record, my hands wouldn't stop shaking while walking to the post office, and felt like I was going to get sick. But the lady that was helping me reassured me things would be fine as we tried to shove my 2 pounds of papers in the flat rate envelope.  We barely got it in... and used a lot of tape... someone in Arizona is going to hate me.
I had used paper clips to hold the documents in place, and used plastic sheet protectors on all sections of the petition, so when the envelope gets opened, no papers should be ripped.
 
I wish everyone a speedy process.
 
 

OMG OMG...Just a quick update!   I'm still in shock.   
 
It is not yet updated on the site but I received letter today from USICS.  
 
"After a review of the complete record of proceeding, including any response you submitted to the Notice of Intent of Revoke, USCIS has determined that the grounds alleged for revocation have been overcome.
 
The approval of the petition is therefore reaffirmed and the petition will be forwarded to the National Visa Center (NVC). "
 
I have so many more questions but will save that for a post later.   We are both in tears and so very thankful for another interview.
 
I know its not a visa yet but it still feels amazing!

A couple weeks after his first arrival using the immigrant visa, he can go the the SS office and request a new card without the notation.

OMG I just checked my status on the new site, and we got apprved on step 1! PD Jan 3rd, NOA2 June 28th. OMG So happy that I'm starting to cry. Husband is asleep. Now step 2 waiting. I checked this morning, and yesterday and on my lunch.

All praises are due to Allah today my Husband has his interview for his Visa. It’s been a long hard journey and i wanted to thank you all for your support this far. May he be granted a good outcome so we can finally after one denial ( k1 when we were engaged) and 3 long years be united. Ameen

Keep in mind there was still some, not many, from Oct still showing up as case was received. Before leaving work I'll do another scan, so I'm not hit with the isp error for the weekend.
 
I also did a quick check on my number on the new site, still says received.

I did a scan of my tsc for the i130 and a lot from jan 12 got rfe or approved.

So far no word.... its getting close! Some petitons have been approved from Jan 2nd, like 4 out of the 400 petitions that I scaned today. (not all of them were i-130's)
 
Husband was asking if we schedule our own interviews since we are planning on having me fly there for American Christmas, we are just hoping that the interview can be around then as well. And I had to explain to him once more the process. I have told him to check VJ out, but his mind is somewhere else.

Trust me I really wish it was 180 days till noa2. But what I have seen from, at least for the TSC its about 7-8 or more months on average. NSC has catched up a lot in the last few months, most likely due to work loads sent to other centers.
 
Pretty sure everyone can agree on, this waiting sucks. My husband keeps asking me when He'll get his interview. I have told him at best and IF things go very well and there is no hiccups.... At best with current knows averages... Late December or January. I already expect us to get a possible RFE for his 1st divorce certificate. (Was issued to his ex and not him and I didn't know how they did their certificates since the state gov site stated what the document needed was but not whom it was issued too)

For the heck of it called the number on the NOA1 last night, typed in my number and case number not found just like the old website....... I wonder if I call while there is a human there if I'll get a different anwser......

We are trying to embrace as much of his culture here as much as possible, even our rings are on the right hand, on my left I have an old ring my mom and I brought that matches. (He bought my a heart shape locket as the engagament ring)
 
He even thought about switching his name to my last name. Or do the combo name. Since I'm an old fashion person that comes to marriage traditions, I wanted to follow his culture rules.

It's interesting to be honest, I’m wondering why those random 3 petitions got picked up.  Sorry if I sound skeptical, but one person sounded like they filed for K3 at the same time they submitted their i-130. Unless they understood the process wrong, or maybe I have. But I thought you had to have a Noa1 in order to file the I-129...... My husband basically has a job waiting for him when he gets his green card, and been hoping if I could expedite it based on that. He's currently here in the USA, and we have thought about doing AOS.... but in case something goes wrong with our petition, he will still have a job etc. Also for where I live, AOS takes about 11 months and we are currently 4 months into CR1...
