For those that have had their interviews, what documents did you take with you? I know the notice of interview has a few things listed to bring, but did you bring any additional documents?
I had planned on the marriage certificate and an updated bank statement, along with what's listed on the notice.

I woke up to a text message (sent at 4:34am) saying "We have taken an action on your case and it needs your attention."
I immediately log in to see
December 11, 2020Interview Was Scheduled
On December 11, 2020, we scheduled an interview for your Form N-400, Application for Naturalization, Receipt Number XXXXXXX. We will mail you an interview notice. Please follow any instructions in the notice.
I checked the documents section and see that there's a notice from December 10 saying that they would reuse biometrics. The interview letter is not posted, so I have no idea when the interview is scheduled for.
Our filing date was April 21, 2020 and field office is Reno. The case completion estimate had been bumped back from September to October, November and then finally December. So I guess the last one was the lucky charm.

I logged in and saw this (not realizing what it was) and got excited thinking it was an update to my case. And then I actually read it, looked below and saw my status hadn't changed and was disappointed.
My case completion estimate still says December 2020. Fingers crossed it doesn't get extended again, but I'm not hopeful.

Hi everyone. I received my receipt notice on April 17, 2020 and I am still waiting for a biometrics appointment. Anyone else in the same boat? From what I can tell, even some May/June filers have received their bio appointments. I am confused.
Our receipt is dated April 21, 2020 and haven't heard anything about biometrics either. Case completion estimated December 2020 (after being moved from September, then October until finally landing on December). Local office is in Reno.

I take the estimate with a grain of salt, I just thought it was interesting that it finally changed. But now it's pushed another month and says estimated December (5 months). Let's hope it's sooner!

My case timeline has updated to add another month. Estimated completion is now July 2021.
I just checked my account and a month was also added to mine also. Previously said October 2020, now says November 2020.

Just filed a N-400 for my spouse based on the 3 year marriage rule. Our early eligibility date was at the beginning of April, so we dragged our feet a little, but excited to be done with it. The application fee always comes as a punch to the gut! Ouch!

As previously mentioned, we had our interview on January 30 and were told we would receive a letter by the end of the following week (so approx. Feb 7). Well we didn't receive anything last week and nothing yesterday.
Today I get an email/text alert with a Case status notification saying "On February 11, 2020, we ordered your new card for Receipt Number MSCXXXXXXX." After a quick search on this forum, I take it to mean that we were approved but will still wait to get the official letter.I'm still curious to know what prompted us to be separated during the interview, but apparently everything went fine so I guess I can't complain.

This is what I can remember
- Confirm your address
- How did you meet? (then asked what website, because we met online)
- How long did you date?
- What did you do on your first date?
- How did you propose marriage?
- How much is rent?
- Who pays rent?
- Who does the shopping?
- How often?
- Who does the cooking?
- How often?
- Who was the last person to visit your apartment?
- Who was it?
- How do you celebrate the holidays?
- What was the last holiday you celebrated and how?
- What did you do for your birthday last year?
- What did you do for your spouse's birthday last year?
- Do you have any tattoos?
- How many tattoos?
- What do you do for fun?
- What does your spouse do for fun?
- When was your last vacation?
- Where do you work?
- Where does your spouse work?
- Do you have any pets?
- What tv shows do you each watch?
Questions asked to spouse but not me:
- What did you do last weekend?
- What is the flooring like in the apartment?
- How many bedrooms are there?
- What side of the bed do you sleep on?
There may be more, but that's all I can remember right now. Good thing I looked at Stokes interview questions just in case!

Similar circumstances to my wife and I during AOS, I assume the officer suspected something and was confirming answers between partners prior to making a decision. I would not worry pending results in the newt 1-2 weeks. Best of luck to you
Thanks! After speaking with my husband after, our answers pretty much matched. Although he (foreign spouse) was asked a few questions about details of our apartment that I wasn't asked, such as what the flooring was like, how many bedrooms there were. Not sure how he can verify if we weren't asked all the same.
I'm sure it will be fine, but it's still nerve wracking!

We had our interview this morning. We were immediately separated when they called my spouse first and he want in for about 35 minutes. Then the officer came out and called me back while my spouse stayed in the waiting area.
Not sure if it was because we are a same-sex couple or if it's just standard protocol. Other couples/families weren't separated. At the end he said we would receive a letter by the end of next week with their decision or if they need more information.
He never asked for the updated documents, so I made sure to give it to him at the end anyway.

The instructions from the Rio consulate say that it is not required to sign up for a courier service. But does anyone know if it's an option? How do they send you the visa in Rio, BR?
