  1. I do not hail from Texas, but currently live here. At the end of the day, all Law Enforcement personnel are people, with every level of quality (good and bad), just like everyone else. Slow day, bad attitude, name your reason for the hassle factor. I suggest that you could be hassled anywhere on the planet, from marginal law enforcement people. Having lived in 7 US states, I haven't noticed or heard about specific areas that are exempt.

Regret to hear that you were hassled for simply jogging, but something did raise the "probable cause" flag, which is a requirement for a stop on a pedestrian or motorist. On the other hand and if you can prove it, a stop without probable cause is grounds for a winnable lawsuit.

  2. can anyone please tell me what Surnames and Given Names will be his name is MD Amirul Haq

so given name is Haq than should i put MD Amirul as a surname or just MD

because he's passport didnt wrote name separetly they wrote full name MD Amirul Haq

    so please anyone can answer?

my AOS is paid now what next ??

    Sadia_Sharmin,

Use the passport last (surname) Haq.

Going forward, please ask your question only once in the appropriate forum. Spamming the board does not yield good results and violates the VisaJourney Terms of Service (TOS) agreement.

  3. Although our case was completed several years ago and is somewhat different in terms of filing status, we received several RFE's for documentation that was absolutely sent with the original submission. I would suggest that you send along whatever they request to keep the ball in play. Files get lost at times, so just go with the flow. To fight it would be counterproductive. Send what is required to complete your case.

  4. It might help if the moderation team actually got together and reviewed this subject, as this comes up again and again. Move this sort of inquiry over to the Adjustment of Status from Work, Student, & Tourist Visas forum as soon as they are encountered.

    The Patriot,

We will take this topic up in our next Moderation meeting. Thank you for bringing the repetitive nature of this issue forward.

    Regards,

    VisaJourney Moderation Team

  5. I got my rejection notice for this same mistake today and I sent the whole packet again with the updated form but forgot to place the rejection notice on top of my file. Anybody know if they will send back my file again?

    nrdespain,

VisaJourney Moderation wishes to caution you about basing decisions or seeking advice from older threads. The older threads remain for historical purposes, but you should be aware that circumstances and rules are constantly changing. Attempt to find something within 2013 for accuracy.

  6. If I may add to this topic, we have sprayers (bidet) attachments in all of our bathrooms. Until recently, I built these rigs from various parts at Home Depot. A painful installation, that gets into serious plumbing. A relatively new company, has developed a product that takes only 5 minutes to install and is available at Home Depot.

    http://www.homedepot.com/p/Brondell-Hand-Held-Bidet-in-Silver-CS-30/203357947#.UkTpJ3Qo7IU

I do not have any interest in this company or Home Depot, only offering an alternative to this important issue.

  7. are you incapable of reading?????

where in what i wrote did you read.... she entered with intent to say here???

I clearly stated..... 2. i want to explore the possibilities, and reprocussions, of her overstaying the current permission.

AND REMEMBER..... we have done absolutley nothing wrong!!!! she is here legally, she has intentions to return to her country within her allowed time. I AM ONLY ASKING QUESTIONS and getting advice.

second. i also CLEARLY stated... i am not looking for comments about legality......

so i ask nicely, if you have nothing productive to add, please just remain silent.

    feito/feita,

VisaJourney is a website for legal immigration advice, therefore comments that discuss possible violations of the law are allowed and encouraged. We would caution you to not dismiss these comments out of hand, if you wish to remain within the VisaJourney Terms of Service (TOS).

  8. i've already deleted them, but i was banned several days after i received them.

i think there would be a record of that they (the mods) would have.

    John,

According to the VisaJourney TOS, you would never be banned (suspended) for "possessing" derogatory information of any type. You would only be banned (suspended) for creating or responding in a thread, in violation of the TOS. Therefore, your claim is not valid; given that you cannot provide any supporting evidence.

    Regards,

    VJ Moderation Team

  9. All,

The VisaJourney Moderation team is a collaborative group, that apply the specific elements of the TOS to all site actions. Although you may not agree with a specific action that applies to one of your posts or threads, you have an avenue of appeal through the Site Administrator (Captain Ewok).

Given the actual TOS violation nature of this thread, it is now closed.

  10. So, it's okay to deny a mother's love?

Why should you want to deny this child the love and care of a mother?

How is life with a US father who doesn't know how to care for the child when there is a loving mother?

Why do you assume that life for the child would be better in the US

Responding as a VJ member and not a Moderator.

What an obtuse perspective. Are we led to believe that a father cannot be a competent primary parent? I will challenge this outlook with impunity.

A man or woman with skills to educate, nurture and care for a child are on an equal plane. This is not only scientifically proven, but a reality in common sense.

  11. Isthiano,

Your preference class was misclassified by USCIS, given that your spouse is a permanent resident and not a US Citizen (201 B INA SPOUSE OF USC). I would make an infopass appointment with your local USCIS office right away to clear this up. Otherwise, you will eventually wind up with negative results on your application. You really don't want that hassle factor.

    Regards,

    VisaJourney Moderation
