lol i knoW! We are all hoping they'd be a better help
I was honestly hoping it was brand new information. Bah. I was rubbing my hands together like an excited kid getting a treat. Ho hum, so they don't know anything more than we all do then. Surprise.

He just repeated the non-updated information that's on their website for the NBC... it was updated, as mentioned, 30 November....

Maybe, maybe not. Who knows.

Sounds to me like he gave you information based on I-485 processing rather than EAD/AP. I have been given different information also so now I just sit and wait because nobody seems to know where my case is but yet they tell me that it's being processed
As mentioned, EAD/APs are processed at the NBC and take on average 90 days for approval.
Fingers crossed for you it is soon. We all appreciate the waiting is difficult through this process.

I think I am in the same situation.
When I called their number, the automatic service would say your case is at Lee's Summit, even until now. However, when I went in to an infopass in November, the officer told me that my case was ready to be scheduled for an interview, but they in san Francisco was too busy and an interview availability would have to wait for. I asked him does that mean my case was at my local office and he said yes.
So I am not quite sure if it's just on their automatic system things aren't updated or what. But I had hoped to get an interview notice in Dec or Jan, but I did not. If case progress site is accurate, then the latest I might have to 2 more months.
I even called to talk to a tier 2 officer, but they said that they were too busy and couldn't transfer me. They took my number for a call-back serivce, but it's been a week and I've received no phone call no nothing.
I don't know what the deal is, when I spoke to an officer he asked me for my zip code and said my case was being processed and I should hear this month, if I don't hear anything then to call 1st of March and speak to somebody as it will be over processing time. He couldn't tell me where my case actually was though :/

Her visa begins as soon as it's issued but her 90 days starts as soon as she enters the States. If her visa was issued in November then she is coming within the 6 months so she is good, the clock starts to count down at POE.

Hi Maria, I would say it was generic by the way you said yours was. It was not marked on my letter. Our medical was still under one year when we filed, we should be ok I think.
Thanks eveyone.. I feel much better from your comments.
I hope it goes well for you... wishing you much luck

If they have specifically requested 2015's then you will need to supply that one.
I did a Google search...
Request a copy of your W-2 from the IRS. If you cannot obtain your W-2 from your employer or their payroll provider, you can order a copy from the IRS by using the IRS's “Get Transcript” tool, form 4506 “Request for Copy of Tax Return,” or form 4506-T “Request for Transcript of Tax Return.”

Will I need to take another medical exam since the medical report is only good for one year??
A...If you are a K-1, K-2, K-3 or K-4 visa holder the I-693 instructions state that you are not required to have another medical examination as long as your Form I-485 is filed within one year of your overseas medical examination. Regardless of if you are exempt from a medical exam, you are still required to complete certain portions of the I-693 and have a Civil Surgeon certify the form (and seal it in an evelope). Specifically, you will complete Part 1 (Information about you) of the I-693 and provide both the form and your DS-3025 (if you have it, proving your vaccination history) and any proof of required vaccinations that were completed prior to entering the US. If you do not have a copy of your DS-3025 you will need to provide sufficient evidence of your vaccination history to the Civil Surgeon (talk to the civil surgeon's office to discuss what vaccination records they accept as proof). If you do not have proof of your vaccination history the Civil Surgeon may insist on re-administering all the required vaccinations prior to completing the I-693. Once the Civil Surgeon has has verified that all required vaccinations have been performed, they will complete form I-693 Part 2 (the vaccination section) and Part 5 (the Civil Surgeon's Certification). They will then seal the form in an envelope and return it to you. This was a couple of posts before you asked....

I just checked my case and is still at NBC should i put a SR because make me nervous that my case is not send to local office yet. Is it stuck at the background check ? Most of the cases with similar timline are eather aproved or thay are ready to be schedule for an interview.
I don't think it would do any good, if you're still within normal processing times they'll just tell you to wait.

St Louis is only processing December 2015 so there's a way to go yet, but to be fair that doesn't mean anything as I know someone who filed after me that was processed through STL, got an RFIE and was approved weeks ago! Who knows, just gotta wait it out.
-
I'm sure by now you and I would have received an RFIE if they needed more evidence? I filed at the end of August and apparently mine has been to St Louis and now back again!! As long as it's not lost, that's the thing that worries everyone the most I think.

Never mind, just answered my own question.... figure will be a long while before Houston gets them.
I just called the customer service number and the automated message told me where mine was at, as that's what I was calling about I didn't need to know anything else.

I can do that! No clue what a DS-3025 is yet though but I'll have a look, basically I think I'll just worry about it as and when I need to.
Yes, I have it!

We are just hoping for no interview and hopefully before our medicals are expired in 2 months
It would be nice to have an interview waiver for sure. Funnily enough I was looking at my medical info that I sent with my application and the date on it is September 2017 but yet I had my medical done last April and as far as I'm aware it's only good for 12 months. Buuuuuut, isn't it as long as you file your petition within that 12 months? Surely if it expires before they've processed it then it shouldn't matter??

You have to look at the timelines for your local office. When it has passed that time then you can make a service request for outside normal processing times other then that all you can do is wait. Ours are also still at Lee's Summit and haven't been looked at since September 16th. I'm not nervous at all yet though.
Okay, so I go by St Louis times anyway. I get that it's very behind but it threw me when I found out that it wasn't there but at the NBC. I'm not worried, confused.

I've just posted this in the September filers thread but maybe someone here can shed some light?
I called USCIS this morning as the wait is starting to grind and the automated message said that my case is at Lee's Summit MO which is the NBC. I've read that this is because of one or two things.... either it hasn't been processed or sent to my local field office (when I called about a different matter some weeks ago I was told that it was in St Louis), or it's being processed for an interview waiver. On the processing times for the NBC there is nothing for the I-485 because I guess they don't process them... odd. Anyone else experiencing this? I was anticipating a couple more months yet anyway but this has thrown a bit of a curve ball now.

I always follow exactly what USCIS want by following the instructions on their website.

There is sadly nothing you can do but wait.

I'm a Boston filer as well, my case has been sent to the local field case in Kansas City instead of Boston I found out after calling a level 2 agent, guessing I wont get an interview as its from a K1.
How do you know? K1s still get an interview, it's not a given that you won't.
ADJUSTMENT OF STATUS
in Adjustment of Status (Green Card) from K1 and K3 Family Based Visas

Just out of curiosity did you know that you could apply for EAD/AP with your AOS at no additional cost?
Adjustment of status can take one to two years, normally within a year but it may be a good idea to check the earlier threads to see on average how long it takes people from filing to approval. Mine took 5 months.
