Hello all,
I petitioned my 2 step daughters in November 2016. was approved and finally got interview dates for them only problem was due to CEAC electronic filing issue the 2 cases where split up and given 2 different dates. when I went online to use AIS to register my appointments I added both cases to the same login and was comfirmed for both daughters on same date. my questions is:
will I be able to have both girls interviews same day? even though i have received 2 different appointment dates via email?

Thank you....I know. I have called. they dont know where its at. My question is
Has anyone have to email their NOA2 to NVCResearch to have their case located? If you have how long has it taken to get an answer?

Anyone here needed to email NOA2 to nvc so they can find their case? Any idea how long before an answer?

I've received my NOA 2 and I've been doing a lot of research on the NVC process and documents required.
I put together an entire checklist and instructional while waiting for a case # to be assigned so thought I would share for others who might have experienced the same questions I did about the process.
It's geared towards London consulate and the petitioner as the sole sponsor but hope this helps others going through the painful waiting process!
Awesome work!! Wow.

Congratulations!!! ... So, how long was the wait for your daughters (IR-2) at the Texas Service Center? (NOA1 to NOA2). I also entered the U.S. as an IR-1 in August 2016, then my husband petitioned for our son (step child) the following month, but it went to Nebraska and then was transferred to Texas Service Center a couple of weeks ago. So at the moment, we have no reference of the wait time. At least in Nebraska I was expecting some time in April.
NOA1 November 23
NOA2 February 24
3months 1 day.
Hopefully Texas hurries for you

Dont Fret. I had a petition approved in April for my wife (IR1) . She entered in August. Then I petitioned for my 2 step daughters (IR2)... maybe why it went quick..

Our case was also transferred from Nebraska to Texas Service Center last week (Feb 22). Our NOA1 is 10-04-16, so had been sitting in Nebraska for over 4 months. The petition is also for a stepchild of a USC (IR-2). Will keep you posted on any updates.
Thanks... I appreciate it.
March 3rd NOA 2 arrived in the mail for my 2 stepdaughters...yipee. good luck to all waiting

Hi all
need an answer. I petitioned for my 2 stepdaughters who are unmarried and under 21. My Question is when we get approved would I have to go to the interview or will it be ok for my wife to go alone? she is already a perm Resident. The interview will be In Rio de Janeiro.

That is not the way we roll here in the US, you make decisions together as a couple, you discuss it and reach a compromise.
It does not matter who makes more money, money does not equal sole decision power.
We have not heard all of her reasons of why she does not agree with it other than the children issue. It is their decision.Ok i agree but a negotiation between does not start with "if you take the job I will Divorce you" isnt that like an unwarranted escalation of negotiations

What's your immigration question?
This is one of the reasons I sometimes want out of this board. You didnt need to say anything if it was not to your liking.

Hello all.
Just received case numbers for my I-130 for my 2 Step daughters. It was sent to Texas Service Center. I already brought my wife to the US in August. Filed January went to Potomac and was approved in april. Has anyone apply for stepchildren and have it sent to Texas? Please let me know how it has been.
Thank You and Good luck to all.

Once an EAD card is obtained, one can apply for a social security number at a Social Security Office if they bring their passport and follow instructions.
-
Um dont you need to show domicile in the US? Use that address
-
If your speaking about part 2 I put my name for "in care of name" and used my US Address.
