NVC will email you a Welcome Letter (WL) directing you how to start the process once they make your case ready for processing. Right now it seems like they just created the case and invoice number. so like they said, you should be receiving that in few days or so and then can access the link with no issues.

i got my interview , and i got this paper in case they asked for ,, yes its not required , but for your record , also they dont required pictures for you but sometime they asked for ,, in my case wasnt required 2015 income tax , but the first lady asked me if i have any update for AOS , and i was have it with me so she take it and give me back the other one i sent it to NVC , and there was another guy almost same case and present the same same ,, and they asked him to show some pictures and dont asked him for AOS .. i think if u have everything with u ,definitely they not gana asked u to submit it another day and this will make ur prove come late ,, so its too easy to avoid this having everything u have with u in the interview time , and i dont think if u have some documents or proves with u this will harm ur case but in the end just"" DONT SHOW NOTHING UNLESS THE ASKED FOR IT"""
thats it .thanks everybody here in VJ this was really useful ...

I agree. Definitely be prepared. If you bring an extra piece of paper it won't hurt.
If they don't ask for it then you don't need to show it.
We brought all our case documents to the interview. We had what they asked for and we had backup copies just in case.
It's much better to be prepared with everything you can get/bring.
Otherwise you'll just be in AP and waiting longer for your visa.

THEOSSMANFAMILY is correct, its a good suggestion to have one just in case they ask for one, it will save time in and frustration and also saves time in delays in receiving an approval (if all is in good order)
and also pretty nice for the petitioner to know if the beneficiary was married before or maybe still has a current marriage in Egypt..... its happened before, I know first hand of finding out if husband had a current wife in Egypt, especially when they lied and say no.
A good motto to live by: BE PREPARED.

In fact, this form should be required when a (American woman / Egyptian man) go to US Consulate when the lady goes to obtain the 'permission to marry" letter from Consulate for a couple to marry in Egypt. That there would save a lot of time and fraud and heart ache for the American woman especially if they plan do the visa process to bring husband to USA and the husband was not honest with her.
Sadly the US Consulate don't require this ........ this should be changed.

Wow, thats really Awufl, I dont understand why the USCIS or US EMbassy dont have such clear info about marriage and process and rights in egypt, and advices of issuing that FRC before marriage to catch liers !!!!!
yes Egypt have that wired thing of recovable divorce, maybe most arabic/islamic countires have that, sad to see aufawl people abusing system and marrige relations for just gain of papers and immigration benfits.
the ideal advice if the couple can do is really know each other and live togther before thinking of big moves or petetions, and really big red flag for men , if he is not paying for all expences and marrige and household expences then something strange going on, most arab men have pride in being sole provider of the house, also paper work should be in line with what they saying, not just trust with no paper,
i think you might get to egypt and hire lawyer and have that paper issued for you, its your right, or you might call egypt embassy in usa and ask them about it,

No he wont do that even if I could get ahold of him. He knows I found out the truth, he only had a First Revocable Divorce from her, and immigation asked for a Final Decree or a Irrevoable divorce. He knew he got caught and I found out the truth when USCIS asked for his final decree, so he snuck behind my back and remarried her. He wanted a safety net if our immigration journey did not go through. He was just a year younger then me, we had so much in common, his siblings accepted me as family along with all his nieces and nephews. We were perfect together, or so I thought, he betrayed me, and so much lieing when the truth came out. Now he dont speak to me, or even his siblings, nieces and nephews, he knew he got caught lieing to me and to them.
If I knew the immigations regulations on First Revocable divorces, i never would of married him, I trusted all he said, it may of been legal there in Egypt, but not in USA or with US government agencies.
Wish I knew all that then..... so our marriage in USA was not legal due to he never had a Final Decree or a Irrevocable divorce.

some time system wont work , he just need to fill up forms in Abassya building, and update it, cause that where the do FRC for Egyptians married none Egyptians, he needs your copy of marriage certificate register , copy of his ID, Divorce paper, then they will issue him an update one.
link for where is the place :https://goo.gl/BnUkaU
all that might take one week maybe.
he might do it online even here https://cso.gov.eg/NetServices
but i would say do it personally face to face is much faster

This family registration certificate is not a new thing but is new in regards to being asked for it. When my husband had his interview, the woman CO asked him twice if he had ever been married before and both times he said NO. She obviously didn't believe him because she told him to submit it before she can issue his visa. He just sent it in today via aramex so we will wait to see. If someone is single their Egyptian ID says they're single and if they go to their city's government office they will provide you with this family certificate. Like a family tree that shows parents names along with their children. Once a man gets married he now starts his own family and his family registration will show he and his wife along with children. If he is divorced it will state even with a new wife. If he has more than one wife, this family registration will also show this. I'm guessing that some bad apples who have been stating they have never been married end up being married still and embassy doesn't find out are now causing the embassy to refer back to this paper. My husband is not a young kid but he was never married before and I think the CO wanted to be sure. So now my husband's family registration shows that I am his only wife and he was not married before me and we will see how quickly this administrative processing lasts. I would recommend everyone over 30 to obtain their family certificate and bring it with them to their interview so as not to cause any delays if they are looking for it. Also during our interview there was a second woman behind and off too the side of the woman interviewing us. She was watching us and maybe it was for our body language or expressions because the woman interviewing us was busy typing our responses into her computer.

And, should the Embassy believe that you are committing marriage fraud (getting married solely for you to be able to immigrate and not as part of a committed relationship), they will not only deny your visa, but hers as well. Does she really want to risk losing the opportunity to get an immigrant visa when the only consequence of not doing so is a couple of years apart -- during which time you can still get to know one another better, even though it may be for a longer distance.

You have no legal rights. Immigration is a privilege and not a right, plain and simple. They are doing background checks and there is nothing you can do except for wait. Nothing you do or say or contact can bypass it or expedite AP, it's done when it's done.

Thank you so much for your update. I was just logging in to tell you the same and then I find you telling me you received mail. That's great! I received my first piece of mail today about 1:30 this afternoon. My husband told me to give the postman a tip as well, so I did. He now speaks with him directly on his mobile.
I'm so glad that you received your RFE in the mail and I hope that everything runs smoothly for you both. I received the I-797C.. and now I know when it was actually sent, so this gives me a good idea of how long to expect any future mail.
    Take care.

Oh goodness, that figures! I never liked receiving postal mail here in Egypt. My grandmother insisted several times in the past to send me mail and I never received it once. The only time (1 time bess) I received postal mail was when my mom sent me some of my legal paperwork in 2009 ( Which was not delivered to our flat but given to a women who owns a store below our building; thank goodness my husband was born and raised on this street, as she knew who to give it too..) but after certain events in the country I never received any postal after that and have asked many, many, many times to my grandmother to never send me mail.
This does concern me about the possibility of not receiving this notification.. or any other forms/documents in the future. I'm thinking of opening a postal box at the post office.. ( Do you know if they even do that here? ) There us a Post Office around the block from us, but they do not have boxes for receiving mail only for sending out... so I'm assuming I'll have to go to main office to ask and see.
How come they gave you such a hard time on the efax? Something I may end up having to look into. :/
    Good luck to you.

We just experienced the same situation. We found a website (with an English version) from the Ministry of Justice from my country with an explanation of the types of marriage certificates they expedite. We sent a copy of that link together with original copies of all possible forms of marriage certificate documents, even if they are redundant. We put an apostille in all of them. If they are not happy with that, I don't know what else to do.
