It might not matter come a couple more weeks after mid-term elections. if Republicans gains more of a foothold in Congress the diversity lottery will be the first to be eliminated. You can also count on chain migration to be eliminated. Good luck though, I would file ASAP like thousands of others, and hope for the best.

Hmm, ok I kinda of understand your reasoning and it's GREAT you trust your fiance to use his ex-wifes address. However, I believe CO at interview is not going to accept his reasoning for using his ex-wifes address, especially since you and your fiancee have a huge age gap.
It's always better to steer away from presenting any additional "Red Flags" when you have a huge age differance. I would try to remedy by not mentioning this at interview, just simply tell them you need them to correct the address where you intend to live in the USA. Good Luck!

Congrats and don't worry about age, it's not going to be an issue. I am USC male 53 and petitioned for my Philippine fiancee who is 28, we were never asked about age difference at our K-1 Interview. In fact our interview lasted only about 10 minutes. I had 3 binders full of evidence of genuine relationship with us and the consular never asked to see any of it. We are now married and living in the United States and now filing I-485 adjustment of Status.

Am & Ra got a reaction from kjem in Regret marrying k1 pinay
Has anyone experienced an ungrateful pinay, k1 wife? My wife has stressed me out with waiting for her ead combo card that I have shingles now, which is unbelievable pain. Everything is the end of the world. The Philippines is so great.
She got the combo card today, and I find out about it because she posted on her Facebook about it. No thank you, no I am sorry you are sick, nothing.
She has been asking to go back to the Philippines and I told her to wait until she can work and she can pay for her ticket back. I am not spending any more money on her. She isn't a gold digger and could care less about being a citizen.
She is just a stubborn, immature province girl that cannot be confronted when she does something I dislike. She is the queen of Tampo. A simple comment of how I feel something is lacking on her part turns into days of silent treatment. She complains that she is stuck in the house without work for 8 months.
We had no rfe's during fiancé visa or AOS. I am working 2 jobs to support us. We eat Filipino food 24 hours a day. She has a great internet connection and the top of the line pinoy directv package. I have done everything I can to make her comfortable while she is waiting to adjust status. She believes every word that comes out of another pinoy/pinay's mouth as the gospel as opposed to anything I have to say. I even have a good job lined up for her that starts at $14 hour.
No thanks, no compassion, just stress and drama. I think now that she has a travel permit, she needs to work and take a visit back to the Philippines to appreciate what I am trying to do for her. Can she travel with the advance parole before AOS and come back without trouble? I am under the impression that if I don't go to the AOS interview and pull the affidavit of support, she can go back and I am not responsible for her anymore?
    Opinions anyone?
My friend I don't think she was the cause your shingles, or does she owe you any thankfulness for being brought to the USA. Put yourself in her shoes, she gave up her family and all her friends to be with you. Sounds to me like she is having culture shock and things just didn't turn out like she expected. I'm also guessing since 95% of the time fiancees from Philippines are going to expect you to allow them to help support their family, that she feels caged and unworthy of helping them.
This is the culture of the Philippines, and why many younger women from there are willing to marry older men from different country. Philippines is a country that is very friends and family oriented, it might be poor, but no amount of money or possessions can replace their love for family. My advice is for you to talk to and listen to her needs and what she feels she is lacking whether friends, family, job etc.
I don't think she is using you because of her willingness to go back to Philippines, which means she is willing to live in poverty than to live the life she is living now in the USA. Solution I believe is get her connected with other married Filipino local groups and spend time with other couples together. Allow her to work at least part-time in order to help her family, or you will have them against you too.
Love and marriage is not about what you can get from somebody but what you are unconditionally willing to give, and yes this applies to her also. Just be cognoscente of everything she has given up in order to be with you. If after you have examined yourself and truly tried to understand her and supported her needs and her supporting your needs. Then decide on what steps to take if things don't get better, but I believe they will, I think the bottom line here is she feels alone and trapped at home.

My fiancee's POE was in Seattle on Sunday, April 10, 2016. She filed for social security number the following day Monday and had no problems either. The reason we filed for it is we need it for marriage license application by April 30, 2016. She checked computer while holding and staring at my filipino fiancee's K-1 Visa and told us everything looks good and we would receive it within two weeks.

Usually one to two weeks, but depends on what type of RFE. If they're just asking you to show documentation that the website you met on is not an IMB, or asking for document that wasn't included in I-129F. Then it's usaully 1-2 weeks depending on how busy they are.

And if anyone here who is given the privlidge to come into our country needs to respect our borders. Our country was built by Americans and voters and the decisions of our past great leaders. You come to our country, until you are a legal citizen and are allowed to vote you play by our rules! If your not an elgiable voting U.S. Citizen then your opinion is worthless.

Am & Ra got a reaction from cristina16 in Unapproved Oct-Nov 2015 Filers (CSC)
Just want to let other VJ members know from our experience of 80 days to get (NOA2) approval, we are proof you need to be patient. The RFE we received was for documents we already submitted with original filing of I-129F. I've noticed also that more RFE's are being issued, I've also learned that they are required to issue a percentage of RFE in relation to the ones they approve.
This makes sense why we and others were asked to send evidence that was already sent. My advise is to be patient don't call and harass USCIS because it will only do more harm than good. They are not going to speed your process up because they are approving other applications who filed a month after yours. We stayed calm in order to not be deliberately ignored or placed at bottom of pile from complaining.
Chances are if you have not been approved and others who filed a month after you are, then the odds are you are going to receive an RFE. Just use this opportunity to front-load your application with additional evidence other than what they are asking for. Many filers are receiving RFE'S for meeting on dating or social site.
If this is the case with you then its a simple hurdle to overcome. Just send cover letter showing copies of the websites disclosure that they are not an (IMB) and copy of email you sent to site and their response. It is my opinion that they just need to issue a percentage RFE's to show that they are in compliance with making sure they are monitoring these sites.
I have also noticed depending on which country you are petitioning your fiancee from can cause delays with background checks during the USCIS phase. If you have not received an RFE and you are 2-3 months behind other filers getting approved then it is likely you are in a slow background check process. As long as your not receiving a denial letter then you are fine.
Just thought I would share our experience being we were one of the unfortunate filers delayed for no apparent reason. My wheels were spinning for 80 days until our approval, I wanted answers and I know you do too, if you haven't been approved yet.

Am & Ra got a reaction from Ted & Janine in Regret marrying k1 pinay

Am & Ra reacted to Tahoma in I-129F filed at California Service Center and still not approved
You are well within time limits. If you call the USCIS, they are going to tell you to call back in a couple of months.
Once your petition is approved, wait a couple of weeks and then start calling the National Visa Center (NVC) until they give you your MNL case number.
Once you have your MNL case number, you can go ahead and pay the visa application fee, schedule an interview, and complete the medical.
